Family feud full episodes egyptian family series#
Each round begins with a "face-off" question that serves as a toss-up between two opposing contestants. The minimum age to participate in Family Feud is 15, although every family must have at least one person who is 18 years or older. The original version of the show began with the families being introduced, seated opposite each other as if posing for family portraits, after which the host interviewed them. Two family teams of five contestants (reduced to four contestants for the 1994–95 season) each compete to win cash by offering answers to survey questions. Aside from television shows, there have been also many home editions produced in board game, interactive film, and video game formats. Reruns of episodes hosted by Steve Harvey air on Game Show Network, as well as in syndication while reruns of earlier versions air on Buzzr. The program has produced multiple regional adaptations in over 50 international markets outside the United States. Harvey has also surpassed every previous host in tenure, although Dawson hosted more episodes of the show. Harvey becoming host in 2010 increased Nielsen ratings significantly and eventually placed the program among the top three most-popular syndicated television shows in the United States. Within a year of its debut, the original version became the number one game show in daytime television however, as viewing habits changed, the ratings declined. Studio announcers who introduced the contestants and read credits included Gene Wood (1976–1995), Burton Richardson (1999–2010), Joey Fatone (2010–2015), and Rubin Ervin (2015–present).

In 1999, the series was revived through its first-run syndication with four different hosts: Louie Anderson (1999–2002), Richard Karn (2002–2006), John O'Hurley (2006–2010), and Steve Harvey (2010–present). In 1988, the series was revived and aired on both CBS and in syndication with Ray Combs hosting until 1994, with Dawson returning until that version ended in 1995. Its original run from 1976 to 1985 aired on ABC and in syndication, with Richard Dawson as host. The show has had three separate runs, the first of which started in 1976. Family Feud is an American television game show created by Mark Goodson in which two families compete to name the most popular answers to survey questions in order to win cash and prizes.

From Westminster to Beverly Hills, It’s All Good For Dogs
Top dogs.  Celebrities.  Palm trees.Wait.  Palm trees?Watch out, Westminster; there's a new dog show in town. Should you tune your tv to the USA Network on April 16 at 8 pm ET/PT, then you'll grab the NBC Sports inaugural broadcast of the Beverly Hills Dog Show.  The series itself isn't a first-time occasion; it has been around since 1965 under the aegis of the Kennel Club of Beverly Hills.  It's always had a feeling of prestige as a result of its Beverly Hills moniker, but today it's a chance to combine the red-carpet audience of must-watch pet shows.
David Frei, Advisor for NBC Sports
This came about when David Frei, for 27 years the voice of Westminster, left his position as director of calling Westminster Kennel Club to join NBC as a consultant.
"Let us do a different puppy show, and let us do one on the West Coast," he suggested.
The date of the KCBH series was a fit, and therefore was its California location.  There were several years that California dogs had the most entries at Westminster or were second behind New York dogs.  That strong showing, and of course the great climate, made California a logical place for a new televised dog series.
Now, comparing these two shows are like comparing, er, The Big Apple to The Big Orange.  It absolutely can't be done, but it's fun to have a look at the differences and highlights.
HistoryWestminster is one of America's longest-running sporting events, next only to the Kentucky Derby.  In 1877, as it began, it drew crowds of 20,000.  Now, thanks to the world wide web, audiences are global and amount in the millions.  Streaming video of the strain judging highlights reach approximately 140 countries, a testament to the abiding popularity of dogs around the world.
Having a history of just 52 decades, the KCBH can not claim corresponding amounts, but its attendance figures are respectable for a puppy show that is being televised for the first time this year.
Its entrance of 1,300 dogs is likely to pull at least 2,000 in-house audiences, and maybe as many as 5,000, Frei says.
"We're waiting to see.  It is a first year, so we're learning what that we can do or be doing."
VenueFamed Madison Square Garden was home to the Westminster Kennel Club Show since 1877 when it was called Gilmore's Garden.  "The Garden," as it's known, is currently on its fourth iteration, and Westminster has happened in all of them.
The KCBH series has taken place in a number of places over time.  Most recently, before this season, it happened outdoors in a park in Long Beach.  To accommodate the demand for a larger place, it moved to the Fairplex in Pomona.  Now, neither of those locations is Beverly Hills, but they offer palm trees and balmy weather.  Since Frei says,"I lived in New York for 14 years, along with the New York Giants played their home games in New Jersey, so we have to go where the distance is, and this is a great show place."
IconsIf you have attended Westminster or watched it on television, you've seen the silhouette of a Pointer named Sensation.  It's the logo of the Westminster Kennel Club.  The members of the WKC imported Sensation from England in 1876 to add him to their breeding schedule.  The muscular lemon-and-white puppy was depicted by a number of artists of the afternoon, and a head study of Sensation appeared on a number of early show catalogs.  In 1935, a finely detailed full-body engraving of Sensation has been discovered.  A foil-embossed version of that engraving now seems on the cover of the Westminster show catalog.
A sculpture of a priest and hounds, imported from France in 1925, functions as the logo of the Kennel Club of Beverly Hills.  It was purchased by a Beverly Hills family in memory of their son, who had been murdered in World War I in the battle of Chateau Thierry.  Afterwards, the family donated the statue to the city, which placed it at Beverly Gardens Park.  The KCBH adopted it as their insignia.
WeatherWhen it comes to New York in February, it's safe to say that the weather outdoors is usually frightful.  At a minimum it is chilly; at worst, most dogs and people fight their way through snowdrifts to get to the Garden.
In Pomona?  It was a nice 70 degrees in March, sunny and mild.  Need I say more?
Star PowerIt's simple to spot celebrities at Westminster.  Martha Stewart has Chow Chows along with the late, great Mary Tyler Moore'd Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens (PBGVs if you're a part of the barkoisie).  Other celebs who've been seen at Westminster comprise rocker Rod Stewart, actress and animal lover Betty White, dog-loving writer Amy Tan, along with Olympic diving amazing Greg Louganis, a fantastic Dane exhibitor and agility rival along with his Jack Russell Terrier, who served as a commentator at the 2014 show.
But California is barely shy of stars.  Rex Linn, one of those stars of CSI Miami, was in the ring in this season's KCBH series.  He revealed his French Bulldog, GCH Prefere Frank Gorshin, who made a select dog award.  Olympic figure skaters Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir conducted red carpet interviews of opponents.  Television personality Lisa Vanderpump--of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules--was noted at the runway-style Best In Show competition.  And the show itself was hosted by actor, author, Broadway star and Beverly Hills resident John O'Hurley.
The DogsLast but not least: the puppies.
Westminster stands out for being one of the rare"benched" shows, meaning that the dogs are on display at an exhibit place when they're not in the ring.  The KCBH show isn't benched, but a sizable grooming area gives spectators a chance to see many different strains as they get prepped to their moment in sunlight.
"The National Dog Show presented by Purina at Philadelphia has increased from 700 or 800 dogs in its early years to almost 2,000 dogs today," Frei says.  "As people get used to it and become excited about coming and participating, we hope the exact same thing will occur."

WikiLeaks published thousands of emails hacked from the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign Chairman Tony Podesta during the course of the presidential campaign. This is not the first time that Trump Jr's actions have been questioned amid the larger probe into Russian meddling and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates in the 2016 presidential election. In June 2016, he accepted a now-highly scrutinized meeting with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, after he allegedly was promised “dirt” on Hillary Clinton. GOP PRESSURE ON MOORE MOUNTS: A growing number of national Republican leaders have pulled their support for Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore in the wake of allegations claiming he had inappropriate sexual contact with teenage girls ... On Monday, a fifth woman, Beverly Young Nelson, stepped forward and said Moore assaulted her in the late 1970s when she was a 16-year-old waitress and he was a 32-year-old lawyer. Moore called Nelson's claims "absolutely false," saying ""I don't even know this woman, I don't know anything about her." Last week, The Washington Post reported that four women accused Moore of initiating sexual contact with them in the late 1970s and early 1980s. GOP politicians continued to come out against Moore's candidacy following Nelson's accusations, with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell calling for Moore to "step aside" in the Senate race against Democrat Doug Jones, and acknowledging the possibility of a write-in candidate.
