Bond was exhausted. It had been an arduous and hectic mission, coupled with a 20-hour flight on Economy class because the plane had somehow run out of first-class and business-class seats.

Or so he had been told, by Mallory.

Bond grumbled throughout the drive from Scotland to London after a brief 3-hour nap, which was peculiar for him to be woken up that shortly after completing his mission. He definitely blamed Mallory for lots of bad decisions despite him being his boss, but he could've at least called later.

After Bond arrived in MI6, he scanned his keycard to get into Moneypenny's office and greeted her, then he heard muffled groans coming out of Mallory's office.

"...Hang on, Moneypenny," Bond uttered under his breath, ears perking up slowly. "Am I hearing what you're hearing?"

Moneypenny shrugged and gave Bond a soft smile. "Look, Bond, I haven't had the slightest clue. Apparently, there's a new employee or something in MI6 but we haven't got introduced to them just yet."

Bond's eyes widened. He probably was hearing exactly what Moneypenny was hearing but he wasn't sure. In the heat of the moment, he walked straight into Mallory's office and saw two naked silhouettes and quickly dashed out after fumbling "Oh fuck- SORRY!!"

Moneypenny shook her head in disapproval. "Bond, you really are a blunt instrument." Bond panted softly and blushed a little, his thoughts fixated on how gorgeous the woman's legs were despite being in the dark.

Tanner pulled himself to sit up a bit straighter in the hospital bed, ignoring any discomfort from the action. He hadn't been here more than a day and was already getting antsy to leave.

Jo sat at the desk , clicking her pen against the desk . She exhaled in relief. Hopefully now, there would be a slight decrease in actually intelligent criminals.

My muse is dead. Tell me how yours is dealing with it.

As if she would be so lucky, that they all would. Without him to maintain a hold over the delicate threads of criminal society it would go haywire, and that was without the several anonymous leaks sent out online, classified documents to do with the governments agents on the exact time of his death. A simple message would be delivered on her screen:

In that time, Steve had been released from hospital. He hadn't had anywhere to go home. As everything but his wallet and passport had been in the car, there was a lot of things he had to do. As he had his wallet, he had his card and was able to get some more clothes. He managed to find a hotel to stay in until he finally found an apartment. And he got settled in.

He was just coming back from somewhere when he almost walked into someone. He looked up when he heard her. "Hey." He said, recognizing her. He realized she hadn't told him her name before so he couldn't even greet her any other way.

Bond took a sip of his martini and set the glass down on the table. "Yeah. I agree. You want to talk about it? You look like hell." He looked over at Jo with a worried expression.

A shiver ran down his spine when he suddenly felt something breathe against his neck. Back straightening, eyes closing. A smile came to his lips when the touch on his neck became warmer. Softer. "Mm," Gareth hummed, smiling.

He turned around to Jo, an eyebrow rising. "Sneaking up on a soldier?" he joked. "Quite disarming..."

Costas had only been doing the job for six months, but the fire brigade had been in his life from the day he was born. It wasn't a surprise to his father that his son would follow in his footsteps.

They had been sitting down to eat when the alarms went off alerting them of a shout. Although before that they had heard an explosion, so they knew that they would be called to it. Arriving there, they were soon doing what they needed to do. Getting their masks on to go in, hoses already starting to try and put this fire out.

Costas looked at Jo and scooped her up, carefully. Just in case she was injured. "Lets get you out of here." He said, as he made his way out with her. Getting outside, his station officer rushed over as Costas sat her down so the paramedics could check on her. Costas took of his mask and looked at his station officer. "What on earth went on in there?" He said. Just by looking at Costas and his station officer, you could see the similarity between the two. Not that anyone besides anyone who knew them would know they were father and son.
