HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ME!

Today, August 30th, is my birthday and (conveniently) also the day I posted my first fic, It Wasn't A Bad Thing (Do not read it, read the rewrite), on Ao3 and entered the Byler community as a writer and eventually artist.

It's strange to think that I've been here for 365 days now. I mean, that's a lot of days, but it's honestly been so fun to get to know some of the people here and I just love you guys. All of you. Seriously.

As a birthday gift, maybe read one of my fics and leave a fun comment (I have them all listed in my pinned past, but I recommend the superspy, pirate, and zombie Will ones)! If not that, give me a silly drawing request I'll take days to finally get around to or even just a fun little ask!!

And I love to talk about myself, but over the year, there have been some very impactful people I've met on this site, and I'd just like to thank all of them for being so wonderful (if you're not on the list, I still love you, I promise. okay, kun is a capricorn and they have a tendency to feel possessive/jealous when someone comes in with higher specs than they have. what i mean by higher specs [in the updated version of kimi wa petto the main girl talks about wanting a boyfriend who: is tall, went to a prestigious school [harvard etc], has a well paying job [more than not makes a higher salary than her] so think of specs in that sense. kun is such a multi-talented person and seems to want to try out and get some kind of certificate in a lot of his hobbies ☺️

with all of his interests [no doubt he has done stuff we don’t know and it’s probably awesome to hear everything he’s done] i think if he got a whiff of some person walking in like "yeah i went to blah blah blah school" and "i've invested blah blah blah into w/e" and “i've been to blah blah blah country doing this type of work for w/e reason" and his s/o shows signs of intrigue/interest or astonishment that is when he'll feel like "hold up..." 😠😤

he's a scorpio the end.

jkjk despite the fact that winwin is a scorpio [my scorpio brother from another mother] i wanted to put him further down on the list. it's weird...i'm either not paying attention to him as much as the others [he does sometimes fade into the background for me, typical scorpio behavior at times] so it's like..."in what situation would winwin be jealous?" 🤔

however, with scorpio's we get possessive/jealous when someone enters our territory. look i've read on so many occasions and i've experienced this myself, but we can sum up whether someone is good/bad/whether we like them or not, from the first couple of seconds of meeting them. it's a weird thing and i have a pretty good winning streak in this department 😉 so if he deems someone as a threat you better believe he’s going to act possessive in some shape or form

i'll also say this, we're constantly trying to figure people's intentions out and that in itself can mean some possessive behavior. i'ts like always wondering what a persons ulterior motive is. so with winwin being a scorpio [even if i don't 100% see him being this high up on the chart] something is telling me to put him here, so i'm going with my gut!

oh and one last thing…it takes scorpios sooooooooooooo and i do mean soooooooo long to put their faith and trust in people. when you’ve worked that long trying to trust someone i can tell ya this — you will fight to keep that person in your life 😋 c'est la vie to whoever tried to barge into the relationship 🤣

xiaojun is a leo and this may come as a shocker [not really] but leo's like to be adored [think alex the lion from madagascar 😊] he wants to be his partners one and only [so sweet] 🥰 and he wants all their love and attention and when that is going to someone else...well...those negative feelings start to bubble. it’s not bad, his s/o just needs to shower him in affection and attention and remind him how much they love him and he'll be fine

don't get me wrong pisces people do get jealous and possessive but out of the other signs, not as much. it's like they know when they get jealous and then stop it before it gets out of control. also, they seem to be in their own dream and fantasy world half the time [no offense my pisces people love you guys] but unless someone was flirting right in front of him, or he caught on rather quickly to a situation happening he probably won't know. also fyi, this is definitely not a sign you want to make jealous - he'll feel hurt/disappointed more than jealous/possessive so please be careful with a pisces they feel their feelings so deeply

Chapter 1. New Phone, New Me.

3rd POV.

The store was noisy, Keelin remarked as she walked into the AT&T store, looking for a new phone. She fidgeted with the cold silver rings on her hands as she walked around, avoiding eye contact. She picked up an IPhone, and lazily decided she'd go ahead and get the model she was holding. "Whichever will get me out of here quicker." Keelin whispers, and luckily she had enough money for the lazily selected phone.

Her friend Kennedy snorted in amusement as Keelin hopped into her Honda Accord, showing Kennedy the phone. "Another day of just hurrying to avoid humanity?" Kennedy teases, flipping her sandy blonde hair for added sass. "Maybe.." Keelin muttered, playing with a strand of baby pink hair. "I'm just teasing, hun." Kennedy says while pulling her anxious friend into a loving hug. "I know."

Once back at home Keelin started going through her notebooks and putting the numbers of people she socialized with into her new phone, however she didn't realize she had mis-clicked a digit, and that would unknowingly change the course of her life.

Keelin: howdy slut it's me.

???: Excuse me?

Keelin: it's me, the bitch that has no social life.

???: not helping. Who are you and how did you get this number???

Keelin: it's Keelin. Keelin Swan? Jasmine this isn't funny 😒

???: I'm not Jasmine, and I don't know a Keelin Swine.

Keelin: BITCH MY NAME AIN'T SWINE ITS SWAN.

???: Sorry.

Keelin: wait, you really aren't Jassy?

???: No sorry.

Keelin clicked her phone off while smiling like an idiot before walking out of her room and going downstairs. "You called for me mom?" Keelin asks, adjusting the chain hanging around her neck. "How would you like moving to Forks with your dad with Bella while me and Phil traveled?" Her mom asked,  and Keelin shrugged. "I'll have to think about it. How long do I have to think?" Keelin asked. "Four months, it's only June." Renee says and Keelin nods before going upstairs and laying down for a nap.

When Keelin woke up, she stretched and yawned before throwing on a pair of black ripped jeans, a black tank top/ crop top and a cammo zip up jacket. Just as Keelin was pulling on her combat boots, Renee poked her head in. "Hey, you wanna come to the store with me and Phil? Bella's in her room reading and doesn't wanna go." Renee asked, knowing the answer would probably be a polite no. "Uhm.." she mutters, not really wanting to go but also wanting to get out of the house. "Why not.." she mumbles and Renee covers her shock with a gentle smile. "Awesome. Be ready in five minutes." She says and Keelin nods.

Walking out of the house wasn't hard, getting in the car wasn't hard, getting out of the car wasn't hard, but walking into a store full of people made Keelin's head spin harshly. She held an iron like grip on the shopping cart, keeping her head down and following her mother's voice. All around she heard the laughs and mocking voices no one else ever would. The world spun in rapid circles around her as her breathing became shallow. Her mother stopped to look at a frozen pizza and Keelin hurriedly fished her phone out from her pocket, opening her texts and messaging the first number she saw.

Keelin: I hate being in public

Jasper: what's wrong?

Keelin: my mom took me to the store and I forgot how much I freak out when I don't have any comfort in public.

Jasper: okay, what store are you at?

Keelin: Walmart.

Jasper: okay, what's your favorite food?

Keelin: steak.

Jasper: favorite color?

It took Keelin a moment to answer, and she realized with a small smile that Jasper was trying to help her through her episode.

Keelin: blue. You?

Jasper: either red or blue. Gender?

Keelin: I'm a female. You?

Jasper: male. Hobbies?

Keelin: Browsing pornhub. Lmfao jkjk. I like to read, write, dance, sing, and go horse back riding. You?

Jasper: pretty much the same. Though I play chess with my brothers and sisters sometimes.

Keelin: big family?

Jasper: sort of. How many siblings do you have?

Keelin: one, a younger sister. You?

Jasper: we're all adopted in my family. But there's me, Emmett, Edward, Rosalie, and Alice, and then our foster parents Carlisle and Esme.

Keelin: sweet, it's just me and Isabela here with mom and step dad.

Jasper: sounds nice.

Keelin: not really, lol. Sure, the solitudes awesome. But it's hard when your sister doesn't exactly like you.

Jasper: why doesn't your sister like you?

Keelin: I've made some decisions in the past that I'm not proud of..

Jasper: I know the feeling.

Keelin: thank you.

Jasper: for what?

Keelin: helping me. :)

Jasper: my pleasure.

Keelin: I'll text you when I get home. Okay?

Jasper: sure thing darlin'.

Keelin exited out of her messages and smiled, glad she'd made a friend out of Jasper.
