It truly is, I will never escape it. If I ever even consider making a (male) villain, sooner or later he evolves into a Dad. And, actually, typically they lose the whole "being evil villain" for the most part too lmao, so sorry about that!

TBF though, there is kind of a reason for this I think, outside me just having some character story/type preferences that lead to this outcome a lot; since I am not making a story/comic book and just draw stuff randomly, there is no real end to anything, and I personally need villains to get their comeuppance. But, that's just not gonna happen if there is no "End" so to speak, so....I don't feel like keeping villains around lmao (I also find myself not wanting to draw any characters of mine much if they are pure villains? They kind of would need a framing of a consistent story to make me draw them apparently, something I am not currently doing)

It's always been like this for me when I think about it? Like I initially assumed this trend started thanks to my Dad-AFO fics, but I'm now realizing that no, I did this loooong before my fandom phase was a thing lol.

Bc If I recall right, the first incarnation of his that had kids, was in fact a villain....and I just couldn't keep him that way, this was already over ten years ago. (Also the villain stint was the only version of him that had short hair. Didn't like that look at all, it should've been a sign that take was not it for me lol)

Also, the other cases I was referring to in the tags to that post this tag was about, bc apparently I'm on the mood to ramble about this:

Jurou Alistair Blackthorne - his original take was supposed to be the story antagonist. instead he became the antihero dad, now more of a protagonist dad

Harrow Blackthorne - Jurou's dad was initially supposed to be kind of a bad, terrible father, but instead I ended up with extroverted Theater kid who loves his son, wife, and grandbabies VERY much and is willing to murder for them - and did end up in jail for said murder lol

Lawrence Faydream - started out as an evil, delusional spirit possessing the actual dad of Ava in the OG story, now is the dad, and while he IS the antagonist in a way, he is not villain or evil, just terribly misguided and struggling to deal with his own emotional trauma. Part of the whole deal is for him to eventually repair his relationships with his loved ones.

Amaros/Shaell Amaros - Started out (10 years ago) as kind of an antagonistic evil scientist Deity, now is a more benevolent if mysterious figure - and yes he is a dad. Though his sons don't know he is their dad, them figuring this out is part of that story.

Kuromoya Murasaki - while not an actual dad and was never meant as an antagonist, he has an evil-ish streak, and it only started to soften when I ended up making him the primary parental figure/honorary dad for a teen chimera called Yago. (considered teen among their kind, technically has existed for far longer. Lifespans in their world are often measured in centuries)

Angus Belmont: Started out as one of my more sinister villains in the OG story, (and I still kinda miss that version NGL,) but then Clover appeared, and BOOM, now he's a foster parent turned adoptive dad. And MUCH less evil and actually pretty decent person, even if he doesn't believe so himself....

Latest case: Cornel Sala. He has no actual kids (yet) but with the way his character is developing, I'm starting to think his relationship with Vee/Vincent might end up being different from what I planned, AND I have vague design concepts for Daughters he could have with Camilla in the future. Because ofc my brain would do this.

....Okay I had even more than six, because OFC I did. Guess I'll plop some pics at the end of all the characters mentioned, so this is not just a wall of text: (they are in order)

(Side note: Kuromoya isn't normally blue, that's just his Soul Eater form, or the current one anyway. I need to design him and his sis & dad new ones, now that I have proper design rules established for how they work)

Boy am I glad you asked, anon :)

It all started when someone showed me this post ages ago, which got my wheels turning.

Months later, I started thinking about a small AU ficlet where, at the end of the story, Seteth discovered that Flayn isn't actually Flayn - the girl that Byleth and Co. recovered from beneath the monastery was actually swapped out for Kronya before they ever arrived, and Seteth has been living with her, unaware, for... years. It's the perfect plan, you see. TWSITD get to keep Flayn to toy with. Kronya gets to feed them information about the Nabateans and the Resistance Army's plans.

I even got so far as to spill my thoughts into a Google doc, intending to make it into something good later. I may still do that. Who knows.

Anyway, even more months ago by and I get caught up in other ideas (my gdocs is a fucking mess. I'm pretty good at finishing everything I draw but with writing, I'll come up with an idea weekly and most times, completely abandon it). Hindsight is 20/20 and I start to think this idea is a bit too edgelord-y for my tastes, so I kind of drop the idea but keep it in my ideas doc just in case.

I don't really have any grand conclusion to this honestly. Just, in the months since dumping all of that in that doc, the idea has never completely left... I just keep circling back to the idea of Seteth being righteously furious to the point of violence... BUT. He can't 100% separate himself emotionally from this thing that looks and speaks like his daughter, his only family. And spending time with him has weakened Kronya's resolve. She's developed empathy. Affection. Love...? Haha jk. Unless....

So when he decides to spare her and have nothing more to do with her, well...... she can't just leave well enough alone. The agarthans are fueled by hate. It's their entire purpose. So getting a taste of love, even if it wasn't completely real? She craves that shit. Yearns for it. And thus attaches herself to Seteth's side in his search to find his real daughter, and definitely Does Not hope to win his love back along the way.

Ofc they start out as the best of enemies. But ever so slowly, Seteth starts warming up to her. He can't help but to "dad" a young adult in need, after all. Eventually they're successful in finding Flayn, who... well. I mean she's not doing so great. It takes her some real effort, but she is the patron saint of empathy and love after all, and gradually she's able to accept Kronya as a friend, all three are able to heal and grow together, and they live happily ever after :)

It's much too big of a project for me to handle, and honestly I'm not passionate enough about it to dedicate myself to it for almost no feedback, bc lbr no one is clicking on a fic tagged with Seteth&Kronya. Beyond morbid curiosity ofc. But I do still hold the concept dear. Who knows. Maybe I'll do a snapshot one shot someday.

1.) why did you choose your url?

i wanted to have an url that was connected to mista, since he was the first jojo character i really simped a lot for, so i went for it. today i still simp for mista, just not as much as i did before. despite this, i am not planning to change it anytime soon, since i grew attached to this url. it is pronounced just like the word "mistake" btw,,, since many people were shocked when they found out first time.

2.) any side blogs? if so, name them and why you have them.

i used to have a multifandom side blog where i wrote for other fandoms, but it definitely did not end up that well, so i discarded the idea. if i'll ever retry to have a side blog, most likely it would be a blog about my ocs, to deepen their lore and to introduce them properly. if the multifandom one didn't work, i highly doubt an oc one would work out better, but it would be useful to use it in order to avoid posting oc stuff on the main, if someone is just interested in the content that's related to the original jjba characters by araki.

3.) how long have you been on tumblr?

uuuh i should really check the carrd, if i haven't reached the one year anniversary yet, i should be reaching it real soon haha,,, didn't even realize that, this tag post reminded me. check the carrd in the pinned post if you're curious because i'm curious too,, shame on me i do not remember.

i sometimes use queue. above all when i write in the morning. many mutuals aren't online when it's morning here, so all i write i schedule them to be posted some hours later. this is why i might post a lot at a certain point and then stop, because some posts are scheduled and it is not sure that i might be online in that precise moment. doesn't happen often, though. this one is not scheduled lol.

5.) why did you start your blog in the first place?

i've been writing ever since i was thirteen - not for jojo yet ofc -, but didn't have anyone to share my writing with, apart from a couple close friends and my current best friend who's always supported me, they still do, and who i love so much. i wrote on wattpad for a lot of time, blog and followers are still there but not the stories because they give me memories yes :") and finding out tumblr had a writing community made me so happy i decided to join !!

6.) why did you choose your icon?

i found a really pog panel of akira and loved it as an icon, so i decided to add the bisexual colors on the guitar to make it cooler for pride month. peace.

7.) why did you choose your header?

i don't have one because aesthetic. if any of you saw my blog yesterday kept on changing the header's layout because i was trying to make something cool, no you didn't. i horribly failed and it is very sad. oof jk i'm cool with it i was just experimenting,,

this guy about "bucci gang and a quiet s/o who bursts out laughing" got to 1.528 notes and this guy about "the crusaders with a s/o who quotes memes and vines" got to 1.148 notes, and i think that's kinda wild, i'm genuinely thankful to every single person who interacted with those posts. <3

oh i have many, and everyone of them is special in their own way, i couldn't name them all !! <3

i take healthy pauses from it when i need to. but some days i really spend a lot of time on it. i love to interact, and please don't take it personally if i happen not to give a feedback on an ask you sent. it really doesn't depend on who you are and i have no problem with you :( i just,, forget/not feeling comfortable/just not in the mood. which is kinda normal for content creators and for anyone who receives asks. this is why i never stress too much on wanting an answer when i send in something in someone's inbox.

14.) have you ever had an argument with a blog before? who won?

i did have a little bit of a problem with a blog but i believe we both pretty much forgot. it was brief and really insignificant for the two of us hopefully, so nobody won, we just moved on. and i still kept it very private because i don't want to bring any kind of drama or negativity on the blog. the maximum i can do is answering rude anons and smol vents in the tags, not anything more.

15.) how do you feel about the "you need to reblog this" posts.

i think they're not good for any user who might struggle with anxiety and see those posts as a reason to feel forced to do something. most of the times i just scroll past because i hate being forced to reblog something.

sometimes,,, not when they get too personal, or when they get too long,,, in that case i might use deleting the reblogs in the middle but i don't really like to do so,,, overall, yes i like them.

whenever i see any of my mutuals' posts, i think they are so cool and they must be famous. i love the fact that tumblr doesn't show other people how many followers you have. that's just a number really, you might have way more readers than you think, just because they're too shy to follow or read your posts while they don't even have an account. and that's okay. everyone should have a chance to enjoy the content !! so everyone is famous to me yes.
