i know, anon, it makes me sad the fandom is so small. but, the people we have rn are amazing & absolute perfection. i have hope the fandom will grow when we get the rest of s2, but here are the ones i follow for ya ! some of them are multimuse or oc blogs.

Just FYI (not that my opinion matter, since I'm just some rando on the internet), I'm not going to be watching The Bad Batch after this first episode. I may still reblog gifs because the animation is gorgeous, or watch certain scenes if like, Cody is in them, but yeah.

I'm gonna vent under the cut, since I don't want to bum out anyone who is enjoying the show.

I really wanted to like this show. I tried. But no.

JFC THE WHITEWASHING. So gross.

The whole episode was just. Incredibly boring. I kept checking the time to see how much I had left to watch and was like, "Ugh, why is it so long??" That's probably because they didn't manage to make me care about any of the characters.

The Main 4 were just as one-dimensional and boring as they were in TCW season 7. I'd really hoped they would start to show more personality in this show, but nope.

The Gary Stu BS was ridiculous. You're telling me that 5 dudes can take out some tanks and a few droids that an entire clones unit and two Jedi couldn't handle?? Riiight.

Wrecker is even dumber, if possible. He makes me really uncomfortable, because they just went sooo far with his 'dumb brute' stereotype, like he's intellectually a 3-4 year old kid.

When Tech said 'actually' in that snooty white boy mansplaining voice, I almost lost my mind. And I always like the nerdy characters! Donatello was my favorite ninja turtle!! But Tech is just annoying.

Omega was cute, but the most interesting character was AZI, and then he just got zapped, so.

But like, what bothers me the most is that Echo had no personality. Negative personality, somehow. I did like that they showed him being scared on the medical table, but that was the only time I felt like he was anything more than a placeholder. He barely had any lines, and aside from going, "The clones wouldn't turn on General Billaba," or something like that, he barely questioned what was happening. He doesn't seem to care at all about the Jedi; he saw Shaak Ti's (I think??) body and doesn't even react! He knew her personally! But the worst thing is that he never even said, "Hm, I wonder if Rex and the 501st are okay?" They turned the joke-cracking smart mouth he was in Rookies into a blob. Maybe all his personality was in his melanin. :/

Ugh, anyway. I needed to get that out of my system, haha. XD
