Nodding, extending her hand out further as her smile grows. Arms fold after the toy's been accepted ⸺ a rather pleasant, twisty punch to her heart over Charlie's EXCITEMENT. Lips quiver with a warm smile, surprised it earned her such a reaction.

Made her feel rather SMUG. Good job, Drew.

Sentence ended by arms wrapping around her legs. Hands fly up, taken aback by the grand show of affection, and unsure whether Charlie would want to be touched. But then she hears a SNIFFLE ⸺ and a Jess can't help but gingerly pat the back of the young one's head. Aw. That nice, twisty punch feeling hit again. . .

❝ 't's NO BIGGIE, kid. ❞ She looks down, beaming wide and cupping the back of Charlie's head. ❝ I'm glad you like 'em. ❞

Though, on the inside, Jessica is OVER THE MOON, practically doing internal flips over the fact that kiddo seems to love the plushie so much.

For a moment, Charlie 'hides' behind a clipboard that she had been using to doodle on. Her head lowers a bit, and she's peeking up, but gaze never meeting Jessica's right away.

That quickly changed when sharp eyes then focused on the stuffed toy in her hand. She smiled widely and looked up at her quickly.

"For me?"

Charlie is very careful when she takes the plushed toy, hugging onto it tightly and burying her face into it.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I LOVE IT. I'm naming them Reginald, and they are going to be my travel buddy from now on!!!"

Charlie is almost vibrating with joy and latching onto Jessica in a big hug to her legs. Is....Is she sniffling?
