I know I used this meme before with my writing, but um, I ain't joking when I use it for this fanfic:
*Except um, its several breakdowns...somehow...*
But anyway, somehow the longest chapter of this fanfic at twenty pages (seriously, the normal limit prior had been six pages), Janira is taken to try out for tourney by Jane and despite intending to fail the try out so she can avoid spending time around Jay and focus more on the situation with her mom, a situation with a bitter classmate changes things...though if you ask Janira, it changed things for the worse...
#descendants wolf in sheeps clothing#megan's fanfiction#story links#i can finally release this chapter dear god#three weeks and so...going insane over one chapter#do not know how that happened...

Part 3: In Tribute to Reggae Month
Exploration and experimentation continued apace after 1996 without discarding the discoveries of the first three decades. From the Bridge Generation, there were clear indications of renewal/continuing approaches to choreography. The renewal end of the renewal/continuity continuum was to be balanced by Marlon D. Simms (Continuum), Chris Walker (Urban Fissure), Shelley Maxwell (Garvey Lives) and Christina Gonzalez (My Skin, My Kin).
Simms' Continuum (2015) explored the musical stylings of new generation reggae artists/band Raging Fyah – “Africa”, “Karma” and “Brave”. The work experimented with the National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC) modern dance style, which is a blend of Jamaican traditional folk forms, ballet and modern dance techniques. The finale reflected the movement patterns of people ‘en masse’, indicative of communal gatherings and festivities such as parties and Dancehall.
Original Dancers (Continuum): Kerry-Ann Henry, Keita-Marie Chamberlain, Tamara Noel, Marisa Benain, Maia Pereira, Jillian Samms, Sophia McKain, Kristina Graham, Kayon Wray, Gillian Steele, Jahmai Paul, Lauryn Rickman, Jodi-Ann Smith, Nadani Dixon, Shade Thaxter, Gillian Edwards, Mishka Williams, Tiffani Smith, Rachel Walter, Mark Phinn, Kevin Moore, Patrick Earle, Paul Newman, Phillip Earle, Michael Small, Kemar Francis, Dominic Saunders, DeVaughn Allen, Javal Lewis
Walker's consciousness of the need to renew while ensuring continuity was evident in his early choreographic expressions and thus prepared his audience for Urban Fissure (2004). The work utilised the music of Bob Marley – “No More Trouble” featuring Eryka Babu and “Rastaman Chant” featuring Busta Rhymes. Jamaica Gleaner writer Chester Francis Jackson wrote:
Walker's debut presentation of a populist folkloric piece in a contemporary arrangement, showcased not only his skills a choreographer, but the changing face of the dance genre as indeed, this was a piece that stuck to its text in presentation and styling, and made for arresting attention.
Original Dancers (Urban Fissure): Keita-Marie Chamberlain, Debroah Powell-Valentino, Jihan Palmer, Mark Phinn, Khama Phillips/Oniel Pryce
Shelley Maxwell’s Garvey Lives (2005) traced the journey by the great Jamaican visionary Marcus Garvey through his Philosophy and Opinions to reclaim the ancestral pedigree threatened by the consequences of slavery and his defiant efforts to get people to do somethings about reclamation. She drew on the music of Fred Locks, Burning Spears, Steel Pulse and the dub poetry of Mutabaruka. The programme notes read:
As many people predicted after he had died, his memory would live on and his voice would still be heard from the past, through black people in the present. Today his words survive, and with them the hopes for a better tomorrow.
Original Dancers (Garvey Lives): Keita-Marie Chamberlain, Tamara Noel, Marisa Benain, Janira Bremner, Danielle Nembhard, Mark Phinn, Marlon D. Simms/Kevin Moore, Jermaine Rowe, Oniel Pryce
Christina Gonzalez choreographic debut, My Skin, My Kin (2009) on the National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC) drew heavily on dub poetry as reflected in Rex Nettleford’s Dis Poem (1988). Here, the choreographer used Mutabaruka's – ‘I Don’t Have A Colour Problem’ and ‘Whey Mi Belang?’.
Original Dancers (My Skin, My Kin): Keita-Marie Chamberlain, Tamara Noel, Marlon D. Simms, Allatunje Connell, Paul Newman, Orlando Barnett

Blog 2 progress/obstacles
Hello again everyone! just realized in my first post I never really introduced myself. I went right in to telling you about me. Ok well my name is Janira. As I stated before I am in the MAT program for English. This class is actually my last requirement for English content. GRADUATION here I come!!
Ok well as far as progress goes; I have started volunteering with an organization that delivers sandwiches to the greater Atlanta area. They collect sandwiches on Wednesday and distribute on Thursday. I had originally reached out to some close friends asking for $3 each. I figured 10 friends $3 I would have about $30 plus my $10 dollar donation I was set to make at least 40 sandwiches (4-5) bags of bread.
Anyway, I decided to try and see what results I would get if I reached out on other social platforms; facebook, instagram, snapchat etc.... And the outcome was AMAZING!! My children and I made about 3x what we had planned to make! And I still had some donation money left over (i’m not keeping it lol I started an envelope for future events). I had different people and even a local business reach out to me here in Clayton County (where I live) wanting to participate as a group. I am so excited to get this project started. I spoke to the lady in charge of the original organization who said she would assist me in getting this program started on my side of town. She said I wouldn't have much competition because there aren't many programs on the Clayton County/Henry County side.
As far as obstacles go I had to face reality and realize TIME was limited. Wed my children and I woke up to make the sandwiches 30min earlier than usual. THIS WASN’T ENOUGH TIME.
My son missed the school bus (I had to drop him) and then I ended up making almost 100 sandwiches on my own after the kids left to school. Then I had to drive to Decatur to drop them off. Mind you I am 6 months pregnant and I was exhausted haha....
Since this project has already seemed to get bigger than expected, I will make sure to have more help/volunteers for the next project. I did enjoy it though! I have been trying to get something started for a while just wasn't sure where to begin.
Hope everyone else has found a project or volunteer commitment! If not, I can use some help on a few Wednesdays coming up (don't have exact dates though). We will be meeting in Clayton County and Henry County. Feel free to email me for more information! [email protected]

Written by Madam Curator, Sarah Beall.
Hello darlings,
I’m so thrilled to announce that the 15 min SFW documentary MakeLoveNotPorn: The Social Sex Revolution has finally arrived! This project was a labour of love for many people, and one particularly close to my heart. Read on to hear the story behind how the MLNP team and MLNPstars Efi & Walter, Colin/Gray, and FeverDream ended up together capturing the #socialsexrevolution at Mermaid Ranch!
The entirely SFW long trailer for MakeLoveNotPorn: The Social Sex Revolution
In late winter of last year, the MLNP.tv team began working on a very special project. Imagine our delight when Jason Harler of Chandelier Creative reached out to Cindy asking if our team would like to spend a week at Mermaid Ranch working on a project of our choice as part of their Summer of Sex and Love series! One look at the dreamy photos of the ranch and we were hooked. Now we had to decide what kind of project we wanted to complete. With such a beautiful space at our disposal we wanted to create something equally beautiful, and really dig into the transformative power of sex and love.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
We took a lot of photos!
As Madam Curator of MLNP.tv, I’ve been uniquely privileged to witness the revolutionary and often life-changing impact sharing #realworldsex has had on our MLNPstars. Since going live in public beta in January 2013, I’ve received a steady flow of testimonials from MLNPstars of all walks of life talking about how the process of capturing their everyday #realworldsexlives has helped them communicate better in their relationships, understand their sexuality more, and given them more confidence asking for what they really want in bed, all while embracing their #realworldbodies in all their messsyawesomehumanness. You can’t make this stuff up — it’s better than we could have hoped when we were concepting this tiny, bootstrapping #socialsex experiment.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
From my previous work creating and curating feminist smut, I had a hunch that the entire process of talking about, capturing, and sharing #realworldsex would be enriching for our MLNPstars. And my heart flutters anew every time these brave #socialsexrevolutionaries share their stories. What I didn’t totally anticipate was the transformative effect curating #realworldsex would have on me, and the close relationships I would end up having with our MLNPstars.
When you think about it, the best relationships are built on trust and great communication, and MLNP is a venture built pretty much entirely on those things. Well, those things and vision, grit, and determination in the face of a crazy number of obstacles, but I digress.
Our MLNPstars put their trust in MLNP and Ariel and myself when they submit their most intimate moments for review (!) and we in turn treat them with the utmost gratitude and respect because, this is not hyperbole, they are our superheroes. Without them and their incredible generosity in vulnerability, we would not exist.
Waiting in anticipation of Efi & Walter’s arrival!
In addition to the trust and deep lines of communication established through often years-long email communications and social media #funtimes, MLNP takes the opportunity to meet up IRL with our MLNPstars when a few of us happen to be in the same city at the same time. To date I’ve shared cocktails or at least chatted in person with Colin/Gray, Janira Wolfe, Modesty Ablaze, lovesurfsing, MrandMrsLau, Rickat, Dale Cooper, bzandgloria, VonBettie, Lily Cade, Fox+Aphrodite, Andy+Becky, xxxotter, SaulofHearts and Violet+Rye. Cindy’s friendships with Danny Wylde, Lily LaBeau and Lily Cade was what introduced them to us originally, and one of our former interns made a point of grabbing tacos with Efi & Walter while on vacation in Mexico City.
Side note: Janira Wolfe actually found out about MLNP from MLNPstars AllenandtheJean. More proof that the future of sex is social. Talk about it!
In person gatherings with our MLNPstars are always a joyful occasion, and have the feel of old friends meeting up for a much needed catch-up. When I met Janira Wolfe at the documentary premiere last week she said to me, “You’re exactly what I was expecting. When I first saw you tonight, I forgot that I don’t actually know you.” To which I replied that well, we do know each other! The thing is that our bond — based on trust and communication and the values of MLNP — is deeper than one might expect given it started with her uploading #realworldsex videos through an online form.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
And these were the thing I wanted to capture and bring to life at Mermaid Ranch. I wanted to bring together our MLNPstars and manifest the experience of MLNP on the spot through conversations, fun, and yes, filming on-location #realworldsex. We are so grateful to Chandelier Creative for supporting this vision and to Thalia Mavros and her crew at The Front for capturing it so completely and in such a stunning way. And, we’re bowled over with appreciation for the MLNPstars who joined us at the ranch — Efi & Walter, FeverDream, and Colin/Gray — our #socialsexrevolutionaries who brought all of the courage, vulnerability, trust, and sexy to our time together.
MLNP is bucking conventional wisdom that says that interacting online is making people feel more isolated. It’s challenging the idea that sharing sex videos online is an impersonal act that trivializes sex, and it’s proof that sharing and watching #realworldsex has the power to transform lives and relationships for the better.
Holy energy shift! Ariel and I feeling the love (and exhaustion) on the last day of our three day shoot
MakeLoveNotPorn is the #socialsexrevolution, and I truly believe that it creates more love in the world. A revolutionary, lasting, and empowering love that has the potential to change the world for the better.
One last trailer for the road! Now please go watch MakeLoveNotPorn: The Social Sex Revolution in it’s full 15 min SFW glory, here! You can read what our MLNPstars have to say about their experiences at the ranch, here and here. And you can rent the #realworldsex videos shot at Mermaid Ranch, here.

Is College Worth It? The Shocking Truth…
youtube
Hey this is Ryan Hildreth seven-figure online marketer and in this video you probably came because, cuz you’re deciding if maybe you should go to college or if you should stay in college or, maybe if you went to college you’re kind of having thoughts of if it was a good idea or not okay and I’m going to give you, my basically my Outlook on things I’m not does not going to be a typical video where I say screw College, it’s a waste of time you don’t need a degree but I’m going to give you a perspective of the two types of people, in college, decide which, the person you are, hope you, college is going to be worth it for you or not, okay, so if you’re someone who is, is becoming a ninja, janira lawyer., doctor and nurse, i’m or anything like, i’m going to, probably, You know this video, too much value for UB, do you need college, 2, to those, okay, the two type of, t-ball Minnetonka, okay the first type, is kind of, something that I know, noticing a lot of money, acquaintances right, and maybe this is you a witch, totally fine, it doesn’t make, you know right or wrong, i’m just, giving you the two, in-N-Out, i’m just glad I wasn’t, but you know a lot of my acquaintances you don’t have no structure, turn their lights couldn’t even make it to class on time they couldn’t you know they didn’t never had a planner they never wrote down, on their goals or anything like that and really they had no direction in and really they just wanted to enjoy, join College go to go to class meet friend party have a good time which is great college is, is a great place to do that because number one you’re not alone you have tons of you know educated people that are, Wanting to learn and and you don’t make friends Network and have a good time and that’s totally fine if that’s, you then college is probably the best thing for you because number one you’re not going to be alone inside, are your parents house or you know in your apartment, you’re going to have friends, you going to have opportunities to make new friends I met some of my best friends in college and they’re still my friends today, today, you’re going to have to, moral, your life, you know more, ability, i’m having to Bianca, the class on time having to follow, you know certain, directions that the professor, ask of you you’re going to learn, you know critical thinking skills, for setting forecast, and stuff like that, That may be a blessing.
Sing for you okay if, if you are someone who, has no idea, what they want to do, your parents are in a, state or, someone is gay, going to pay for your college or you’re not going to go into much debt than College may be a great thing for you now that’s the fur, first type of person okay but the second type of person is the person that I was in college and this may be you, okay and this may be the reason you came to this video is because you want to make a lot of money, you want us maybe start your own business, that you have certain goals and aspirations in your life you want to have Financial Freedom you want to be able to drive super, cars you want to be able to travel the world you know take your partner you don’t meet, Meet great getting great relationships meet your partner in your dream partner and take them across the world if you want, have enough money to do so now that’s you okay they don’t want you to listen very closely because that was me and you, college I wanted to be able to spend more time with my family I wanted to drive a Supercar I want to Financial Freedom, oK in college wasn’t going to teach me how to build a, sustainable and profitable business to be able to fund that kind of Lifestyle okay, so that’s a key difference in college you’re learning things to be, injected, to the corporate world, totally fine, rightmost my families in the corporate world, steady income, i’m kind of a cat, salary you’re not going to make it, you know you’re not going to make a, Pass a certain calorie mark, salary, the thing is, is that if you want Finance, freedom, college is not, teach you how to get that, okay you have to be able to learn from someone a mentor online courses you have to be able to, learn from people that have built-in $1000000 businesses are multimillion-dollar businesses you have to learn from, people that have made a lot of money or are in the financial position that you want to be, okay and a college professor, where is most of the time not going to be in that, that category, okay all my all my, professors weren’t, super wealthy, yeah you know they weren’t, living crazy lavish lifestyle, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting those thing, it’s okay I wanted those, things ever since I was a little kid and that’s just, just what I decided I was going to get so, You know for me, i learned, that college was in, i provide that, the reason I did that is, because I try, starting a business, 0 time, work on my business I had to, attend class, study for test, i’m be at a place at a certain time work a part-time job, and a full-time job to be able to pay for college right for college and if that is you then, you’re going to have zero time to work on your business study extracurricular, things to be able to build a business right I took many courses online courses teaching me how to do digital, how to build a business while in college and I had basically you know it took me, couple months just to get through one course and actually apply what I learned okay and that’s way too long, to build a business if you want to build a business gain Financial Freedom all that kinds of things they don’t teach that in school, I don’t teach you how to invest in the stock market they don’t teach you how to invest in real estate.
They don’t teach you how to become an entrepreneur, build a business, social media Market, effective advertising for your business how to sell, okay, and those are all skill sets that you need to be able to create that Financial Freedom for yourself, that you need to be able to sell products and services you need to be able to Market effectively all right, to be able to communicate with others and have the social skills and those things you develop outside of college, if you are the second type of person like I was right kind of wishing, you didn’t spend so much time in college wishing that you had a business to provide that opportunity for you, Then I want you to rethink about college I want you to evaluate and assess if call, college, providing you with the tools necessary to reach your end goal in my end goal, with the build a profitable business, thousands of, hundreds of thousands of people and college was, providing the right tools to get there okay, and that’s why I decided, college was not for me, decide, what your angle is, and think about, if college is providing those, tools and if it isn’t, then obviously you can, so, i hope you enjoy this, this video make sure to, comment down below, do you want to win, free coaching call for me, and I will see you in the next video, take care.

Good Dreams
I can’t remember my dreams except right after I have them. So I remember them briefly because I remember remembering them but forget their substance other than that they are good. So if I remember having them without remembering them does that make them lucid? Maybe, but that isn’t what I care about now. What I care about now is that they are good hopeful life affirming feel good dreams.
I like good dreams even if I don’t remember them because they are uplifting. They make my waking hours a little better than they would otherwise be. Being aware of them is enough to make a difference. There are positive impacts on life from prior good experiences. A happy childhood makes for happier adults and happy dreams make for happier times in general. I don’t want to brush away the benefits of difficult and trying experiences nor do I refute that adversity builds character (good character) but those don’t negate the virtues bestowed by happiness and pleasant dreams.
Last night I had many good dreams, and these were especially rewarding after having already begun thinking about this in a way that promoted me to write this down. I woke up feeling good, and then again for several moments (maybe several minutes) I remembered them. I thought to myself, with Janira sleeping silently next to me, that for such good dreams I need not take notes because they are unforgettable. I was wrong!
I could have taken notes and then written them up a little later and then I would have been better off than I am now. I am better off than I was before those dreams but I could have been even better.

While me and my friend, @disneyfan50 , are still messing around with our Owl House inspired AUs and changing some stuff with season 2 still coming out, decided to maybe at least explain the character roles in the AUs, this one being The Mirror House, an AU on disneyfan’s Good To Be Bad: A Disney Descendants Twisted Tale and my story, Descendants: Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing and elements from the story concept, Tightrope, and a concept from an alternate take on another character:
*Benjamin ‘Ben’ Mercier- also known as The Beast Man a lot due to his cursed form, Ben never wanted to join a coven as it limited his freedom and at first he was safe from the coven due to what he assumed was his friend, but when that friend turned on him and used him, he ended up being constantly on the run from the Empress coven and as a result, has to survive on selling human junk from the human realm, but after two humans one day, run through his portal door, his life changes fully.
*Sophie Hale- a human from the human realm, Sophie grew up with a neglectful mother who really only saw her and her foster sister as a mean to get child support checks, but that didn’t mean she and Hya didn’t get along as she and Hya were always close growing up and in present, happily show off their love for fantasy....which can often have disastrous results, one of which resulted in a trip to the principles office and once Sophie’s mother was called over the failed book report, she had enough of them and decided to send them to summer camp to straighten them out, but the two never go to camp as instead, they follow a creature into a portal that leads them to a world right out of their fantasy books.
*Hyacinth ‘Hya’ Hale- a human from the human realm, Hya doesn’t really know how she ended up in the woods, but she knows once she was found by Sophie’s mom, she was taken in and grew up with her best friend in the form of her foster sister, Sophie, with both growing a love for fantasy and as a result, both would often show their love for fantasy in various ways, but one of these ways results in both ending up in the principles office and as a result, their mother would have enough of them and send the off to summer camp to straighten them out, but they never go to the camp as instead, they end up following a creature into a portal that leads them into a world right out of their fantasy books.
*Jamie- no one truly knows how he came to be, not even Ben does, as all he knows is that when he went to hide out in an abandoned castle, he ended up feeling weird while sleeping and in the morning, a clone made out of magic was there and having no choice, he takes Jamie back with him, and despite being mischievous at times, he does try to be the groups calm member a lot.
*Gilda- being a spirit that resides within a mirror on the front door of the house, Gilda is The Mirror House in some sense as Gilda can travel throughout the house and sometimes beyond it, and despite coming off as creepy and annoying at times, Gilda does mean well.
*Adam- Ben’s palisman he made out of palisman wood while he was younger, Adam is a Beast palisman that when Ben and Sophie with Hya eventually, isn’t using him, roams around the house or gets human junk when Ben sends him to do so.
*Clarice Mercier- Ben’s younger adopted sister, Clarice and him used to be close but they fell out of contact around the time Clarice joined the Empress Coven as in present, she is a loyal member who has risen to coven leader status, but after losing a fight to her brother, she finds herself with the task of capturing her brother, with the promise that his curse will be cured.
*Janira Rose- coming from a pretty powerful bloodline, Janira was a surprise to people when she was a late bloomer, but this sadly led to her and childhood friend Zale falling out and Zale even making her life a living hell when she started to fail the Oracle track, but when Janira sneaks two human into school one day, Janira finds herself being switched to the Plant track and even befriending the two humans.
*K’Marah Hawkins- coming from a family of pirates and inventors, K’Marah has a love for the human realm due to her mother and grandmother and excells fully at the Abomination Track like her mother and grandfather before her, but when Janira sneaks two humans into school one day, she happily befriends the two and becomes the twos loyal friend.
*Zale Meredith- the youngest of the Meredith children, Zale was taken from her parents by her grandmother who wanted a powerful child and as a result, is raised to be cold and aloof, even falling out with Janira as children and tormenting her in present over failing at the track Zale excelled at, aka Oracle. But after some incidents with the humans, she slowly finds herself changing for the better and finds herself not only befriending Janira again but also slowly falling for one of the humans, Hyacinth.
*Perseus and Atlantia Meredith- the eldest of the Meredith children, they were taken in by Ursula when younger and are known to be the mischief twins, especially with their skills in the Illusionist track, but when it comes to them and Zale, they vary between getting along or turning nasty if she tells on them.
*Gable Deer- a student in Hexside, Gable is known to be pretty popular in the sports department of her school and being Zale’s friend since childhood, she also liked to target Janira and when she didn’t, she was trying to excel at the Potions Track.
*Celola Frollo- a student in Hexside, Celola has been friends with Gable and Zale since they were children and as a result, often joined in on the bullying of others like Janira but when she wasn’t, she was trying to excel at the Bard Track.
*Ursula Meredith- the grandmother of Zale and guardian of Perseus and Atlantia, Ursula after learning how powerful her grandchild would be, pulled some strings and got custody of Zale and when it comes to all three children in her care, she is known to expect nothing but the best from them, especially Zale, and acts as a harsh guardian as a result. Being in the Oracle coven, she owns and runs the business, Meredith Industries.
*Empress Maleficent ‘Mal’- the ruler of the Isles, it is unknown how she came to power or how the former ruler was dealt with, but what is known is that she enforces the coven system and deals with any wayward witch if needed and sees any one on her side as a pawn at the end of the day, especially in relation to her and her boss, the Horned King, and their plans for the human realm....
*Chad- Mal’s right hand man, he is known to be fully loyal to the Empress and will do any job given to him and does clean up after his colleagues if they fail, but he does have a dislike for the Golden Guard when it comes to her stealing his jobs.
*The Golden Guard/Reese- having been related to the last ruler and being Mal’s half sister, Reese hopes to help her sister in any way she can and is loyal fully to her when it comes to her golden guard duties, being a child prodigy and with her sister insisting the king has plans for her, Reese hopes to make her sister proud no matter what.

Persona Poem blog #6
I thought the persona poem would be difficult. I sat there and thought about it for hours before I came up with my character. I couldn’t make sense of writing poetry or anything as someone else. How I chose my character is actually funny; at least to me. I was sitting at my kitchen table and my 14yr old asked me what I was doing for homework. So I told her about the persona poem and how I needed to choose a character or mythical creature. This opened a conversation about how much she enjoys Greek mythology. She started telling me all these stories about the Gods and Goddess, and how and why. I found one particular story interesting and decided to take notes as she spoke. We talked for a while and when she went to bed I began to research my chosen character as well as the others in the story. Originally I was going to write from Cronus’ view but then decided it would be more interesting to tell the story from Titaness Rhea’s point of view. I decided this because the story is about him, even when my daughter was telling the story she spoke about him not about her. This was truly an interesting assignment. I would have never thought about this on my own because I was not very interested in Greek Mythology. In the beginning I did not understand or even believe that we needed to research to do this assignment but I was wrong. Research was very important so that You can add the necessary details to write as someone else. I mean, how can you pretend to be someone if you don't know anything or at least basic information about them.
Man Eater
Janira Ricketts
At first, I let him get away with it
my babies, my children.
I could not bear another one,
not again.
The prophecies. The reason
why he did not want his sons,
his daughters to outlive him.
The possibility of being overthrown,
by his own children.
The way he did his own father.
Giving life to this infant, with hope.
Hope of,
having a different outcome unlike his previous siblings
survival
seeing him again, in the near future.
To save him from the man eater.
His father, his creator.
He should have brought no harm.
With help I saved My baby.
The sky God and Earth Goddess,
helped avert his would be end.
The man eater indulged in what would be Zeus.
Instead a swaddled boulder.
Not again.
