And I Love Her
Sam Winchester x Reader
The reader and Dean are being tortured by Gordon Walker because of her relationship with Sam, and all they can do is hope he'll get there in time.
Word Count: 1.5k
Tags: Torture, graphic depictions of being cut into, descriptions of gore and severe bodily harm, Sam Winchester is out of character depending on who you ask
Characters: Sam Winchester, Reader, Dean Winchester, Gordon Walker
@ghostlyaccurate requested: "Hii! Can I request a Dean and/or Sam Winchester (sepperate) x fem! Reader set in season two, with an established relationship, where it's like when Gordon kidnaps Dean, but instead of just Dean he also kidnaps reader. (I can imagine if it's a Dean x reader Gordon uses reader to get Dean to not try anything, and if it's a Sam x reader Sam just going even more ballistic than he originally does in the show). Thank you!!"
Read it on AO3!
A/N: Beatles title. My first Sam fic! Honestly, it was really hard writing this one for some reason, and after five revisions I'm still not completely in love with it. Regardless, I hope you enjoy, and heed the warnings! Do not read if this will make you uncomfortable!
Sam Winchester Masterlist | Supernatural Masterlist | Main Page Masterlist
Gordon stared blankly at the wall in front of him while you tugged at the ropes on your wrists. A bandana was tied tightly around your mouth that tasted like dirt and your own blood. Dean was tied up to the left of you in a similar state, and both of you were staring down Gordon like it would kill him.
Traps lined every entrance from the doors to every small crack in the wall. Sam was powerful, but you doubted he could break through solid brick. Grenades, tripwire, even a shotgun trap that looked like something straight out of a movie; Gordon wanted Sam dead at all costs.
You knew your boyfriend would come to you and Dean’s rescue, but damn was this cutting it close. Gordon had already tried his best with Dean, but when it was your turn, he took his sweet-ass time.
He punched you, kicked you, even spit on you. Now, you tried your best to not scream as he dragged a knife against the soft flesh between your neck and shoulder.
You failed.
Biting down on the bandana, a muffled scream ripped through your lungs. You tried focusing on Dean, but he wouldn’t meet your eyes which were spilling over with more tears than you thought were in your body.
You could feel your blood dripping down your back and your chest, slithering its way to the floor as Gordon wiped his blade with the rag in his back pocket. He wrenched your head to the side, forcing the fresh wound close and for more tears to streak down your face.
He repeated his process on you a few times.
Your arms.
Your hands.
Your legs.
Every time somehow hurt more than the last, the hunter pulling open your skin and snapping it back together like a rubber band. Your vision was spotty, but you held steadfast to the thought that your boyfriend would be here any minute to save the day like he always did.
Gordon took a step back, wiping sweat and blood from his face and arms. He looked down at you with a glare that you’ve held plenty of times for the less-than-human creatures in the world. You guessed that, in his eyes, you, Sam, and Dean, were held in a similar regard.
Snaps.
Taunts.
Cracks.
Screams.
All because you fell in love with someone born under a bad sign.
You didn’t regret meeting Sam. Kissing him, falling for him, even the idea of just having him in your life was enough for your mind to justify the situation you were in. It wasn’t his fault you were having your life drained out of you minute by minute, and you hoped he would be smart enough to know that.
“Sam’s going to be here any minute, you know. Gotta convince himself he’s the hero of this story, and I’m the big,” Gordon turned to you, knife in hand, “bad, evil dragon. But I’m not the one with demon blood, am I, Y/N?” He placed the edge of the blade against the bottom of your chin. You could feel the cold steel heavy against your skin, and any sudden move would surely spill even more of your blood.
Dean glared at Gordon, his face shades of purple and blue, which mirrored the pain you felt along your entire body. Gordon dug the knife into the bottom of your chin, piercing your skin ever so slightly, but not enough to fatally wound you. Your mind was trying hard to hold onto the cracks of reality that remained in your vision; the smell of the dingy house you were in, the feeling of the carpet making contact with your boots, anything that wouldn’t send your consciousness reeling over was enough of an anchor for you to hang onto.
Gordon walked away from the two of you, returning to his position of peering out one of the boarded-up windows in wait for Sam. You glanced at Dean, which granted you a glance back from him. His eyes were dry, but they held enough behind them to let you know what he was thinking. Sam was going to burst into this booby-trapped hellhole, and Dean could do nothing but blame himself.
It’s all your fault, really, a thought that smashed through what you knew was the truth said.
This isn’t any of our faults, you told it back, wanting to tell Dean the same. Sam wasn’t to blame for the two of you being taken, and neither of you was at fault for being used as bait; it all landed in the hands of the rogue hunter who deemed himself holier-than-thou.
Though you couldn’t see yourself, you knew you were starting to resemble a bloody pulp more than a human being. Dean could barely look your way for longer than a second, and deep cuts that surged whether you moved or not continued to scrape away at your consciousness.
Gordon disappeared, and as you tried to turn your head to follow him, you felt a burning pain across your chest. Highlighted by a spurt of blood splattering over your thighs, you wanted to vomit. The top of your head started to feel like it was being lifted off from the rest of your skull, and the black spots in your vision connected at the edges of your eyes.
You grunted, head going slack and opening wounds on the back of your neck. Either spit, blood, or bile dripped out of your mouth, but at that moment you didn’t care- the black at the corners of your eyes bled together, and all you could do was limply hope Sam would find you.
You blinked, slowly, noticing light creeping in from the boarded-up windows. The second thing you noticed was the searing pain in your body, coupled with grunting and what you could guess was a well-landed punch.
“Y/N!” Someone called out to you, but you could barely lift your head to meet their voice. The bandana in your mouth was pulled away and hands cupped your face, warming your skin that was ice cold after losing so much blood.
The hands left your face and moved to the ropes at your wrists, cutting them off quickly and placing your arms in your lap. You forced your eyes up high enough to see it was your hero, Sam, standing before you with tears starting to fill his eyes. If your face would’ve let your smile, you would’ve, but every movement flashed the memory of Gordon cutting into you.
Gordon.
“Where’s-” You managed to sputter out through a sore jaw and a severely dry mouth.
“Dead,” Sam answered coldly. For the first time, you noticed his knuckles were a hue of bright purple, complimented with blood splattering up his arm. Sam moved your arms around his neck and picked you up as gently as he could.
“Dean’s already in the car patching himself up. I’m going to try and lay you down in the back seat so we can get to the closest hospital. I left Gordon in the room by the first door, so keep your head to my chest if you don’t want to see him, okay?” He asked softly. The tears that were in his eyes had faded slightly, but you could see the emotions he’d no doubt try to hide later on. Regret, blame, guilt - the more he looked at you, the more you could sense that your battered state was tearing away at his consciousness. You wanted to reach out, hold his face, and tell him you’d be okay, you’d survived worse, that it wasn’t his fault, but your thoughts were halted by Sam stepping past Gordon’s body.
If you could call it a body, that is.
His nose was sunken into his face enough that his eyes were slightly popping out of their sockets. His mouth had more gums than teeth, which were scattered around the room. He was lying against a dresser, and his limbs were spread out in the wrong directions. You thought you saw a bone, but before you could look closer, Sam turned and shut the door behind you.
Sam laid you across the back seats of the Impala, trying his best to be gentle with the abhorrent number of cuts across your body. You couldn’t guess how the hospital wasn’t going to ask questions, but you hoped the brothers would figure that out. Your head laid in Sam’s lap, and he looked out the window as Dean buried Gordon.
“Sam,” you slowly moved one of your arms to his face, bringing his attention to you, “thank you. You saved us both. You had to do what you had to do.”
Sam smiled but still didn’t say a word as he dipped down and planted a gentle kiss on your forehead.
You wanted to be able to tell him everything your racing mind was coming up with but were beaten by the overwhelming need to not move. Dean climbed into the front seat, beating the gas pedal to the floor and hitting the highway as Sam ran his fingers comfortingly through your hair.

If You Want It To Be - Part 1
Pairing: Dean Winchester x F. Reader
Summary: When your car breaks down after a hunt, Sam and Dean tow you back to the bunker for Christmas. This time of year gives you and Dean a little courage to be honest about what you both want. And what you want, is for him to see you. (18+)
AN: Here’s one of my entries for @deanwinchesterswitch's TGWRC: Christmas in July event! ❄️ Hope you enjoy Part 1 of 3. (I will release one chapter per week! Possibly sooner. 😉)
Themes: Mistletoe (a classic), eggnog, Christmas dinner
Word Count: 3,900 Tags/Warnings: 18+ only! Bickering, fluff, jealousy, angst, friends to lovers, (eventual) smut.
Part 1: December 23
“I never thought I’d miss my own bed as much as I do right now,” you mutter.
Though your body’s weary, you manage to heft your duffel bag onto your shoulder. Soon enough, you’ll be out of this craptastic motel.
More specifically, away from the cot that nearly broke your back while you weren’t sleeping on it. Who could sleep on a bed of rusty-ass springs?
But while Sam is already loading weapons and his things into the Impala, Dean seems to be taking his sweet time, fiddling with something by the solitary nightstand in between the two queen beds. Your extra cot is laid out in the corner (may it rot in hell).
Dean glances up at you at your remark.
“That’s the first thing we’ve agreed on all week,” he quips. And he smirks when you send him a mock warning look.
“Don’t mess with me right now. Haven’t gotten my beauty sleep in three days.” You have to adjust your duffel on your shoulder. “What’re you doing?”
Dean’s smirk fades the longer he concentrates on trying to put on his watch.
“Trying to…damn it, think this strap is done.”
Sighing, you set down your bag on the bed and sit down next to him on the edge of it. You peer over his shoulder and see that the leather band is indeed broken.
“Aw, that sucks. I can replace it for you if you want, since I’m the one who wrangled you guys out here,” you say with a frown.
You called them for backup when you discovered the coven of witches. If you’ve learned anything about hunting over the years, it just isn’t safe to go after a group of those demon-worshipping assholes without help. And it gave you a reason to get back in touch with Sam and Dean…
If you’re honest, it gave you an excuse to see Dean.
You haven’t seen him in months, but he and Sam came when you called. The three of you managed to take out all four of those bitches, after having to track them down across the plains of Indiana.
At least it only came at the cost of Dean’s watch.
“It’s okay. Don’t worry about it,” Dean says. He tries to wave you off, but you shake your head stubbornly.
“Really, I mean it,” you say. “I’ll buy you a new one. Consider it an early Christmas gift.”
Christmas Eve is tomorrow, and while you love this time of year (and your own bed), part of you isn’t looking forward to going home to an empty apartment.
Dean looks up at you with a rueful smile. “Really, it’s okay. This one was my dad’s.”
At that, your guilt intensifies. “Oh…guess there’s no replacing that. I’m sorry.”
“This’s just what I get for hauling my ass out here, pulling yours out of the fire,” he remarks. Some humor creeps back into his smile. “As usual.”
“Hey, if anything, I saved your ass,” you tease back, even though you still feel guilty. “That he-witch was about to grate you into Swiss cheese.”
And then you shot him between the eyes.
“Oh, yeah?” Dean raises his brows at you. “And when Barbie girl locked you in her cellar, that was what, you taking a nap?”
Your lips purse in response. You enjoyed seeing that platinum blonde bitch go down hard—with an iron chain wrapped around her neck. Dean held her down while Sam finished her off with two shots to the chest.
Trust Dean to try and take credit for the whole thing. You get up to your feet with a roll of your eyes, collecting your bag. You feel his presence burning behind you as you both head out of the motel.
“I would’ve figured it out eventually,” you say.
“Right. Where have I heard that before?” Dean says dryly. He follows you to your car and watches you throw your duffel into the backseat. Maybe he admires the curve of your ass in those jeans for a bit too long while you’re bent over.
But his eyes snap back up to yours when you straighten, turning back to him with a wry look. For years, this is how things have always been between you. Playful, sniping, not entirely flirting, but not quite not either.
Sam then comes around the Impala to give you a friendly hug goodbye.
“Don’t be a stranger,” he says with a smile. You return it, giving his plaid-covered chest a light punch.
“You two are the ones with the packed dance cards. I’m lucky I got you guys to even answer my call,” you quip. “I’m down to goddamn smoke signals here.”
Dean shakes his head and pulls you into his arms next. “If we’re screening anyone’s calls, it ain’t you, sweetheart.”
You huff at that, but your smile is more genuine when you hug him back. For a brief moment, you let yourself revel in his warmth, his spicy aftershave, the solid feel of him wrapped around your whole body like a perfect man glove.
It’s so familiar to you, but bittersweet. Because all too soon, you have to let go.
“It was good to see you,” you say, a little softer than you meant to. Dean’s lips quirk at a warmer smile. There’s something in his eyes you can’t name when he releases you.
But with a sigh, you turn and get into your car—an old Ford Focus.
“You’re really still rockin’ that rusted out piece of shit, huh?” Dean asks, watching you with crossed arms as you climb in. The door creaks loudly when you shut yourself in. You flash him a wan smile and lower the window (with the embarrassing hand crank).
“Since 2003. Good old Hubert hasn’t failed me yet,” you reply. And then you turn the ignition.
It splutters, but doesn’t start the car.
What the fuck?
Frowning, you try it again. And again. And again.
Nothing.
The brothers Winchester still stand between your car and the Impala in the parking lot. Sam shares a glance with Dean, who brushes a hand over his mouth as he watches.
Finally, you look up at them with a grimace when your car just dies. Kaput. There’s the sound of pressure releasing, along with your high hopes of making it home tonight.
“Goddamn it, Hubert.”
That’s how you find yourself a guest of Le Bunker a few hours later, after Dean tows your car all the way to Lawrence, Kansas.
“You’re welcome to stay for the holidays,” Sam tells you once the three of you make it inside. He leads the way down the winding staircase. Dean follows behind you.
“That’s right! Tomorrow’s Christmas Eve,” you reply with a smile.
Your family loves Christmas, but it’s just you this year. Your father is on an extended cruise with his new wife, technically your stepmother. When your dad asked you how you felt about them going on this trip, they seemed so excited about it that you didn’t feel like you could say no.
So between watching Halmark movies by yourself all day and hanging out here with your friends, there’s really no decision to make. You agree to stay.
Sam nods back at you and continues into the bunker. He goes on to greet Castiel and Jack in the living room.
When you reach the ground floor, Dean lays a hand on your shoulder, prompting you to turn around.
“I’ll take a look at your car, see if we can’t get it running in a couple days,” he says.
“By Christmas? That’s a tall order,” you reply with a grin. “Even for Dean Winchester, Un-Certified Mechanic.”
Dean smirks back at you, crossing his arms. “That a challenge, sweetheart?”
You pull out your best Charlie’s Angels narrator voice. “I guess it is. Your mission, should you choose to accept it.”
His gaze is warm with playful scrutiny, from your dirty sneakers to your jeans and black V-neck top, to the messy ponytail keeping your hair together. But you can’t help but blush at the lazy, damn near flirtatious way he does it.
“All right. Challenge accepted,” he says, crossing his arms. “What do I get if I win?”
A smirk tugs at your lips. “My undying respect.”
He just hums and leans against the iron guardrail of the stairs, hands sliding into his pockets.
“Not enough for you?” you ask.
He shrugs, unimpressed, like he can take it or leave it. You step up on one of the stairs and fold your arms on the guardrail, so you can be level with Dean’s eyes.
“Okay. If you manage to miraculously get my car running by Christmas, you get one consequence-free request,” you offer. He raises a brow at that.
“Anything I want?” he asks.
“Within reason,” you amend, though you’re starting to blush. It curves his lips.
“No questions asked?” he hedges.
You think about it for a moment…
“None,” you shake your head. “We got a deal?”
Dean smirks back at you and crosses his arms.
“Deal.”
Maybe the little bet is silly. You know very well Dean can fix your car in two days. Just as you know you need to keep a tighter lid on your feelings…
Now that you’re here in the Bunker, unable to escape him, there’s too much potential for spillage—of things you’ve long kept hidden.
It just never seemed like he was seriously interested. Even if he ever is, you also know very well that Dean’s not the dating type. And you…you just don’t think you can handle being another “hit and run” for him.
Or a “sometimes” girl.
Or even worse, a “when it’s convenient” girl.
If you think too long about it, that would just about rip your heart out.
So you ignore the thought of Dean again for a while. After you shower and change into some pajama pants and a loose top, you pad barefoot into the kitchen. Castiel is there to greet you, staring into a glass of orange juice. You raise a brow at him.
“You okay, Cas?” you ask.
“Pulp or no pulp, that is the question,” he muses.
“Um…pulp?” you reply.
He nods and takes a sip. “Pulp is good. Increased levels of Vitamin C. But I’m thinking no pulp is best. It eliminates the possible choking hazard.”
You don’t know quite what to say to that, so you nod. “Yeah, fair enough.”
You pause in your quest for a snack to look around the bare furnishings of the bunker.
“What the hell’s going on here?” you ask. “It’s literally Christmas Eve. Where’re all the decorations?”
Jack comes in the kitchen, pausing from watching reruns of Judge Judy to join you and Castiel. He doesn’t know you very well, but he’s just as curious about you as you’re curious (and maybe a little wary) about him.
You know Dean hasn’t totally warmed up to the Nephilim, but he seems kind, and you find his honest, natural inquisitiveness endearing.
“I know about Christmas,” he says, smiling like he’s proud of that fact. “It celebrates the day of Jesus’s birth. Even though December 25 itself is not historically accurate, society has made up for that fact by intertwining pagan traditions and overbearing commercialism.”
“A very good way of putting it,” you say after a moment, chuckling. “Well done.”
Jack grins at the praise. Castiel shares an amused smile with you, but his is more fond.
“I don’t believe Sam and Dean are big on celebrating Christmas,” Castiel says, finally answering your question.
You cluck your tongue and level both angelic beings with a determined look.
“Well, that’s just not gonna cut it, guys. If I’m spending Christmas here, we’re doing it right,” you say.
And with a growing smile, “Buckle up. We’re going to Walmart.”
As it turns out, “doing it right” takes pretty much all night. But you’re impressed with how everything came out.
There’s now a large tree in the living room (a real one, bought in the Walmart lot of Christmas trees), decorated with three packs of lights, ornaments, and a nice star on the top, with a lacy red ribbon that overlays down the front.
You worked your hardest on the tree, but you also directed Castiel and Jack with a new tablecloth for the war room table. Red candles in “fancy plastic” gold holders, tinsel and ornaments and several other Christmasy things that now brighten up the entire place with festive wonder.
And all on the cheap. Though your wallet is going to smart a bit, considering you might’ve gone a bit overboard. Not just on decorations, but on some groceries, a few gifts, and maybe a couple of things for yourself…
You just don’t anticipate later falling asleep on the long table in the war room, with a roll of ribbon curled around your hand and tinsel in your hair.
You wake up to a hand on your shoulder, gently shaking you awake. You groan, squinting against the twinkling lights, no matter how pretty they are in all their multi-colored glory.
“You okay there, sweetheart?”
“Huh…?”
“You’re drooling on the table. I’m guessing that’s a new tablecloth.”
“Whathefu…” You manage to open your eyes and raise your head, finding Dean smirking down at you. You blink up at him sleepily.
“Aw shit,” you utter.
“That’s one way to greet somebody,” he intones.
You just grin with exasperation, but you accept his help in sitting up with a groan. Every muscle in your body aches in protest from having slept on a slab of hard wood.
His hand doesn’t leave your back until your bare feet are firm on the ground, though you lean on his arm for a minute while you rub sleep out of your eyes.
“Damn, I wanted to see your faces when everything was put up,” you say ruefully. Sam comes in with a smile and two mugs of coffee, one of which he hands to you.
“It’s incredible! How’d you do all this?” he asks. “And thank you. You know you didn’t have to.”
You waved him off. “I wanted to. Plus, I had a little help.”
You raise your mug to Castiel as he walks by with an iPad and a multigrain bar. It’s such a far cry from the angel you had met years ago—socially ignorant of human ways—that you have to smile. He returns it.
“Jack’s still putting the finishing touches on the Christmas village,” Cas says.
“Village?” Dean frowns.
“We had him set it up in his room,” you tell him. “He was fascinated by the train part. And the fake snow. And all the little people…”
“Great, another nerd,” Dean remarks.
“Be nice,” you chide. He shoots you a certain smirk.
“What do you mean? I’m Mr. fucking Nice Guy.”
“More like Scrooge,” you counter.
“All right, Sweeney Todd. Might wanna fix the nest you’ve got going on there,” he retorts, gesturing at the wild state of your hair. You’re still picking out tinsel.
You narrow your gaze at him. “Big talk from the guy wearing fuzzy slippers.”
Dean frowns, glancing down and shuffling his slippered feet. In his defense, the floor is cold.
“All right, I’ll just get started on breakfast then,” Sam says, cutting through the familiar bickering with a resigned grin. After a parting amused look at you, Dean follows him into the kitchen.
“Wait, wait. You don’t know how the hell to make eggs. Let me get in there.”
Rolling your eyes, you share a conspiratorial look with Castiel, who smiles before taking his iPad into the living room. You take the opportunity to shower, brush your damn hair, and fix yourself into an actual human again.
Suddenly inspired to put some effort in, you pick out a dress for once. It’s not the new one you might’ve splurged on for Christmas dinner tomorrow, but it’s a “just in case” dress you always take in your bag…just in case.
It’s a black, comfortable fabric with simple long sleeves and a skirt that drapes above the knee. It’s just casual enough to wear around the bunker. But it can also be dressed up with some heels if you need to. This is not one of those times, thank God.
You even take pains to do your makeup, light on the eyes but popping with a bit of red lipstick that you typically save for going out. Tis the fucking season.
And maybe you want to wipe away that asinine smirk from Dean’s face.
When you return to the kitchen, all four men are sitting at the kitchen table, eating breakfast, talking, and drinking coffee. That all pauses when they see you.
“Morning, again,” you greet them. And you hum to yourself as you grab another cup of coffee. But you stop in your tracks when you realize they’re all looking at you.
The ones who have tact (Sam and Dean) manage to return to their phone and iPad, respectively. But the angels are a little slow to look away.
“You look different today,” Jack says.
Your lips twitch at a smile. “A good different?”
“Yeah,” he says, though the way he looks at you makes you wonder if he’s sure. You share a glance with Dean, whose face strains with an awkward I don’t know what to tell you smile.
You don’t know it, but Dean’s gaze follows you as you putter about the kitchen. The sight of your smooth and shapely legs are enticing, especially the way the skirt of your dress keeps swishing along your thighs.
Sam clears his throat, catching his brother’s gaze with amusement. Dean’s lips purse at being caught in the act of checking you out, but he swiftly ignores his brother to glance back down at his iPad.
Shaking his head, Sam gets up after he finishes his breakfast and brings his plate to the kitchen sink.
“You going out or something?” he asks you. “There’s some eggs for you in the pan, by the way.”
You nod at that, grabbing yourself a plate from the cupboard. You’re starting to reacquaint yourself with where everything is in the bunker.
“No, but it’s funny how you guys seem to think I live in my hunter gear all the time.” You arch a brow at Sam. “In case you haven’t noticed, I am a woman. Capable of wielding lipstick.”
Sam grins, raising up his hands in surrender. “By all means, wield away. You look nice.”
“Thank you,” you say dramatically. He snorts in response and moves to get around you. But that’s when Jack pipes up.
“Oh, look,” he says, pointing to a spot above you and Sam. “You guys are under the mistletoe.”
Your eyes widen. You glance up at said sprig, which hangs from a long string stapled into the ceiling, then at Sam as a blush starts to warm your face. He looks similarly caught off guard.
“Who put that there?” you ask, cutting your gaze over to Jack in suspicion. His boyish grin is pleased, while Castiel fights a smile of amused embarrassment for you.
Dean is oddly quiet though. His expression hides behind the hand he’s leaning his chin on, while his elbow rests on the table. You meet his eyes for just a moment, before you crane your head up to look back at Sam.
You shrug with a grin and beckon to him with your hands. “All right, come ‘ere.”
Sam’s face is a bit crunched with an awkward smile, but he obliges you by wrapping you up in a friendly embrace.
You take his face with both hands and plant a sweet kiss on his cheek. You feel his prickly stubble against your lips, but you don’t mind.
“Merry Christmas,” you say with a giggle. He chuckles in response and rubs your back warmly.
“Merry Christmas,” he echoes, pressing a hand to your cheek. You’re one of those friends he counts as his family, and he’s truly grateful that you’re here with them for the holidays.
You have similar warm feelings for the gentle giant as you pull out of his embrace. When you glance over at Dean, you don’t know what to expect to find. By the mild grin he’s sporting, he just seems amused by the whole thing.
You inwardly shake your head at yourself, wondering if you should’ve just kissed Sam. Maybe then you’d figure out where you stand with Dean.
And once you know for sure he doesn’t see you in any kind of way, then you can try to actually move on from Dean Winchester.
You’re forced to sit across from him after you heat up your eggs and make some toast. He’s just scrolling through his iPad without a care in the world.
But in reality, you couldn’t know that Dean is fighting not to look at you. Because the truth is, he didn’t like what he just saw…the obvious warmth between you and his brother.
“We need stockings,” Jack notes, before he turns to you. “Wasn’t that on your list?”
“Ooh, you’re right. I think I forgot,” you reply. “To be fair, trolling around Walmart on three days of no sleep is ill-advised at the best of times, let alone at 12:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve.”
Sam chuckles at that. While Dean gives a slight smile, he’s still quieter than usual.
“Want to go grab some at the store?” Jack asks. You rub your chin in thought.
“Well, I wanted to get started on baking some cookies for later.”
“I can take him,” Sam offers. Jack nods along with the idea.
“Okay, great,” you reply.
“Need anything else while we’re out?” Sam asks.
“Hmm, nope! Nothing that I can think of,” you reply. Sam nods, and soon after, he and Jack leave for the store.
You turn to Dean, intending to ask if he’d like to help you in the kitchen. Realistically, you know he’s not going to do much but stand there while you do most of the work, but it’s a chance to hang out, just you and him.
You’ve almost worked up your nerve to ask when Dean gets up from the table with his iPad. He says nothing to you before he starts toward the garage, making you frown.
“Hey, Dean,” you call to him.
He hesitates, turning back to you with an expectant brow. You want to ask him to stay but…ultimately, you lose your nerve.
“Gonna work on my car?” you ask instead. He flashes you a smile that doesn’t completely reach his eyes.
“Un-certified mechanic, at your service,” he dryly quips with a lazy salute.
You quirk a smile as he continues on his way, but somehow, you feel unsettled. You turn to Castiel, and you remember the rest of your plan for today.
“Hey, Cas.”
“Yes?” His head raises from his book.
You give him a conspiring smile.
“I have a special mission for you.”
AN: The stage is set, folks! Let me know what you thought of Part 1. 😘
Next Time:
Jack’s sprig of mistletoe once again lies above your head. Your heart trips up a bit faster as Dean looks down at you again, with a smirk.
“My turn,” he remarks. His eyes are flirtatious, but they hold a hint of something deeper. Something you can’t name.
“Are you gonna go for my cheek like I’m your cousin?” he says.
His raised brow is a challenge, and it makes you bite the inside of your lip. He can be so annoying, but you suppose he wouldn’t be Dean if he didn’t make things more difficult for you.

I was putting the sleeping bags as well as the tent set into the jeep while Jack was coming in bringing the cooler with the drinks.
“You sure the drinks won’t get warm on the way up there?” he asked me.
“Babe that’s why we’re getting ice at the gas station. Besides this jeep needs gas too while we’re at it because somebody forgot to fill the tank!” I proclaimed while turning to Sam.
“Okay how long are you gonna hang this over my head?”
“As long as it takes. You know how many times Dean and I have told you about that? Whoever gets the gas tank under a 100 miles, fills the tank.”
“See even she can remember the rules.” Said Dean coming in eating a ham, turkey, pastrami and bacon sandwich he had made. Sam rolled his eyes and I said after closing the back door.
“Okay I think that’s everything.”
“So we can leave now?” asked Jack excitedly. I nodded.
“I still don’t feel comfortable with you two going on this camping trip by yourselves.” Dean said.
“Dean, just because many of our early cases took place during a camping trip doesn’t mean it’ll happen to us. Unlike those guys, we know the warning signs for Wendigo’s, werewolves, vamps and even faeries.” Dean glowered at me at mentioning the fairy thing to him.
“Did you at least pack the basic protection?” Sam asked.
“And not just against monsters.” Dean added. My face went red and Jack started to say.
“You mean protection as in con—”
“Do you really need to say that Dean? We’re not gonna do anything like that!”
“Can’t go wrong. Plus I don’t want you coming back and making us uncles just yet.”
“Jesus you are such a pervert.” I groaned.
“But seriously (Y/n), you do have some form of protection? In both matters.” Sam asked me.
“Yes Sam and please don’t agree with Dean about the latter suggestion.” He raised his hands in surrender. “Okay Jack get in the car, we’re outta here.” He did as I told him and I got into the driver seat and started the engine. “See you bitches in a week. And do me a favor, don’t blow this place up while we’re gone or have another end of the world crisis on our hands.”
“We’re Winchesters, we make no such promises.” Dean said as he munched on his sandwich once again.
“Have a good time you two, be safe.” Sam told us.
“Yes Ranger Sam.” I teased before putting the jeep into drive and soon Jack and I left the bunker garage and drove down the road to the nearest gas station to get ice as well as fill up the car.
After doing all that and filling the cooler with ice for the drinks, I got back into the jeep and started up the engine.
“Okay Jack, since we’ve got full control over the radio, what genre of music shall it be today?”
“I did enjoy that 80’s playlist you made. Especially after you showed me that show Odd Things.”
“You mean Stranger things babe. Alright 80’s it is.” I went through my phone and opened up my music playlist and scrolled through until I found my 1980s Greatest songs playlist. Sure Dean may say that everything after 1979 sucks, but he clearly hadn’t heard some of these artists like Kate Bush, Prince, Queen’s later music in the 80’s, Whitney Houston, A-Ha, and of course my man Phil Collins.
I first played the song ‘In the Air tonight’ to get us started on the open road. Jack particularly began to realize why I loved Phil Collins so much. Yeah he was cool in his Genesis days but when he branched out into his solo career, the dude truly shined.
After an almost 2 hour drive and almost reaching the end of our playlist with Cyndi Lauper we arrived at the camp grounds. I parked the car and both Jack and I got out of the car and stretched ourselves out before entering the check-in lodge before we had to drive to our reserved camping spot.
“Good afternoon, how can I help you?” the woman behind the desk said.
“Hi we’re checking into lot A113, reservation is under Winchester.” She typed up my reservation on the laptop and said.
“(Y/n) Winchester?”
“That’s me.”
“Great, and you’re staying with us for a week. Here’s a map of all the areas you can hike, or visit the various lounges or restaurants we’ve got here. And for staying here a week with us that’ll be $210.25 will that be cash or credit?”
“Credit, please.” I said getting out my card and handing it to her. A quick swipe and the payment was done.
“Okay you are all set. Hope you and your boyfriend have a good time.”
“Oh we will, especially after the few months we had. We deserve this.” I said putting my card away and gathering up the stuff she had handed me. I saw Jack admiring some of the portrait paintings along the wall and took his hand. “C’mon babe, let’s get to our spot and set up camp.” He nodded and I guided him out the lodge and we went back into the car.
I turned the engine on and drove off towards our camping spot. Good thing about this camp ground is that while we are out in the woods, there was still access to bathrooms, showers, and of course food joints and restaurants. Plus everyone has their own private little spot to make their camp so no one has to be cramped in a giant forest space.
Jack and I looked around until he spotted the signs that lead us to our section and as we drove down the trail I softly let out a yes as I fist bumped.
“Thank god the showers aren’t that far away.”
“That’s a good thing right?”
“I mean I don’t mind the walk but still, it’s better for night time shower people like me. I mean seriously I don’t get why people shower in the mornings, you’re just gonna get sticky and gross at the end of the day and I don’t wanna sleep like that.”
“That is strange. Glad you told me about it when I was first trying to understand the ways of humans.”
“There are certain things my brothers can teach you but everything else, just ask me. I got your back.”
“Just as I got yours.” He said as he placed his hand on top of mine. I smiled and gave it a loving squeeze as he pointed out. “Is that us?”
“Uhh yeah this is us.” I turned along the gravel road and pulled into our little hill mound parking spot and turned the engine off. “We’re here at last. No more driving for the rest of the day please.”
“You know I could’ve drove us from the check-in lodge. Dean says I’ve been improving with Baby.”
“I know you have sweetie but driving Baby and driving this jeep are two totally different things. Plus you haven’t gotten enough experiences on dirt road like these. All the bumps, twists and turns and I’m not that good of a driving teacher. As I’m sure my brother told you, I was a wreck when learning to drive Baby. Can’t do a stick to save my ass.”
“It’s not that hard once you get used to it. Maybe I could teach you.”
“As sweet as that is, one Dean would never let you do that and two I don’t want to ever drive Baby again.” I pecked his cheek and continued, “C’mon, let’s unload the car.” We unbuckled ourselves and got out of the jeep as I opened the back door and first grabbed the cooler while Jack grabbed the tent.
After unloading the car and unfolding the tent from the bag, Jack got the bag that was filled with the tacks and poles that we needed to keep the tent in place and standing up.
“Okay so—I’ve never really put a tent up before but I have seen people do it in tv and movies. Is it really as hard as they show it?” asked Jack.
“Depends on the tent, luckily for us this tent it’s fairly easy to put up. Mind helping me spread out the tent first before we get the poles and tacks down?” he nodded and came over and went on the other side of the tent. Together we grabbed each end of the tent and pulled it as far apart as we could. “Okay now grab that bag with the poles and tacks.” He looked around until he saw just a few feet to his left was the bag.
He tossed it over to me and I opened it up and pulled out the poles first.
“Now what I want you to do is connect this set first and I can do the other set. Once they’re connected, I’ll show you how to put them through the tent.” He grabbed the first set of poles and began to connect them together while I did the second row.
“Like this?” he showed me after he had gotten one set together already.
“That’s it. Make sure they’re in as tight as you can get them. Can’t risk the tent caving in on itself.” I said as I twisted my set in before they finally connected with each other.
It took a few minutes but we finally got our poles connected and then I showed him where the poles would go through the tent. We did his connected set first and I guided it through the right side of the tent, going towards the top and then coming down the other side before sticking it down into the earth. We did the same for the other side (that’s where the major work comes in cause you have to guide it over the previous pole set).
“You sure you weren’t lying when you’d say it’d be easy?” Jack said with a grunt as he tried to maneuver my pole set over his at the top each time I pulled the second pole down.
“This is always the tricky part no matter what. But trust me Jack, I’ve seen tents so complex to build up I’m surprised they’re not banned from camping gears. Don’t worry we got this, just a little more……” finally I managed to get the starting point out the end of the tent and stick it into the earth as well. “There we go. Now for the tacks to make sure they stay down.”
I jogged back over to where I had the bag and pulled out the tacks as well as the mini-mallet that came with it. After setting each tack down, I told Jack to get the rain roof to go on top of the tent just in case it rained (there was a chance in the next couple of days but it’s better to get it out now rather than later).
He went back to the tent back and pulled the tarp-like roof from the bag and together we worked to maneuver around the tent to place the rain-proof roof on top of the tent. Once it was one, we stepped back and we wrapped an arm around each other and I said.
“We did it babe. Our home for the next week.”
“I can’t wait to sleep in it. I’ve always wondered what it’d be like sleeping in a tent after you showed me that camping episode from your favorite childhood show.”
“Well let’s get the sleeping bags and all the other stuff inside and you can see for yourself.” We walked over and grabbed the sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, and our backpacks. I unzipped the circular door and once the flaps came down I bowed and said. “Right this way good sir.”
“Thank you.” He said with a bow of his head before getting in with me following suit.
Some would call it overboard since this tent is said to fit five people but I wanted Jack to have the full experience of being in a tent. And just seeing his face in full awe as he looked around.
“It’s almost like being in a cave. And not like those Wendigo ones either.” I nodded.
“It’s got where it counts. But if it’s too much I can send this back and just get a two person one.”
“No please don’t. I love it. Very spacious, plenty of space for all our stuff. But can also be intimate for snuggling together.” Jack said as he came up close to me, wrapping his arms around me. I smiled as he buried his face into my neck.
“Okay sweetie, let’s find a spot in this cave of ours to put our sleeping bags at.” We crawled through the tent and decided that our bags could be spread out in the middle of the tent. Our backpacks could go right up at the wall where our heads would be. We set the backpacks down before unrolling our sleeping bags and placing down our pillows and blankets.
“So what shall we do first?” Jack asked me with a smile as he padded his pillow.
“Well there’s a few things I’d like to get at the lodge like firewood and see if there’s any icebags they sell. I know our cooler is basically a thermos but you can’t be too careful especially with as long as we’re staying.”
“Okay so firewood and ice. Then what do you want to do?”
“This camping trip isn’t just about me sweetie. This is your first camping trip, what do you want to do?” I took his hand and gave it a comforting squeeze.
“Can we go hiking?”
“Then hiking it is. Maybe we’ll even see some wild animals while we’re out and about.” He smiled and I could almost see my sweet baby boy bouncing on his knees. “Now let me see, the lodge from our campsite is about how far?” I said as I took out the map from my pocket. “Okay so we’re here,” I said pointing to our spot, “And the lodge is….” I trailed my finger upward until I saw the main lodge. “Oh sweet we don’t even have to walk very far. It’s just out of this reserved area and up a forest hill track and boom we’re there.”
“You seemed to have gotten us a lucky spot. You sure you didn’t check ahead of time?” Jack teased.
“Babe I swear, this was the only camping spot available at the time I was making the reservation.” Jack looked at me with a playful skeptical look but let it go. “Okay go ahead doubt me, but they don’t call me (Y/n) ‘Lucky-shot’ Winchester for nothing.”
“Who calls you that?”
“Me. I do. And Charlie, and Jody, and the rest of the girls of the Wayward sisters. Dean calls it dumb luck but I have saved his ass more times than I can count. Plus some of my luck must’ve bounced off of them, with as many times as my brothers get knocked out. I’m surprised they still remember their own names.”
“They do get knocked out quite a bit.” Jack agreed.
“Right!?”
Once we got our backpacks packed with just enough stuff for the hike, Jack had decided to come up with me to get the firewood as well as see if there was an ice-dispenser up at the lodge. After finding and purchasing a couple bags of firewood, we headed back to our campsite and Jack placed the two bags of firewood near the car while I opened up my bag and we began to place the wood into the firepit.
“When it gets dark, we can start the fire. They’ll be fine sitting in the firepit for a while. So shall we begin your first ever hike?”
“I hope I packed everything right. I triple-quadruple checked just like you told me.”
“Good boy. Oh before I forget, here.” I reached into my pack and pulled out a bag that contained some whistles and got two of them out. “Put this around your neck.” I handed him the yellow whistle while I took the blue one.
“What do we need whistles for?”
“Well we can’t risk you using your powers in front of other people and freaking them out. So in the event if one of us gets lost, stay where you are, hug a tree and blow your whistle.”
“Okay I understand.” I patted his shoulder as he hung his whistle around his neck. “Can we go now?” he said bouncing on his feet.
“Yes sweetie we can. Follow me first time camper.” I walked ahead with Jack walking close behind me and we proceeded towards the hiking trail.
Throughout our hike we would stop to take pictures of some beautiful landscapes, tightrope across logs, and even got to see a few animals. Like this one point in the hike we came across a cute rabbit. Normally when a rabbit sees you, it wants to run but this rabbit as soon as it saw Jack, it got curious.
It hopped over to him and allowed Jack to reach out with his hand and gave him a sniff. It even allowed Jack to stroke it’s back before taking off back into the woods. Of course using my phone with it on silence, I snapped some good pictures of the encounter and promised to have those developed when we got home.
We even met up with some other hikers and found a special lodge where we could observe the local bears from a safe distance using binoculars. And along the walls of the lodge were paintings as well as facts about bears that the kids could read. And bless his heart, he shared with me all the facts he never knew about bears (even though I knew about most of them but I didn’t have the heart to stop him. He’s like a puppy).
For the rest of the day we hiked, had lunch, took photos and even talked with some other hikers until it started to get dark so Jack and I decided to head back to our camp for some supper as well as introduce him to the King of all camp snacks, S’mores.
We got back to camp and I started the fire while Jack got out the hotdogs, ramen, and smores stuff. We ate our supper and just as it was starting to get darker, I thought it was now time for Jack to try his very first smore.
“Okay Jack, the perfect way to make a smore is this.” I said gathering the smore supplies. “First you take the graham, and then you break apart a piece of chocolate. Then you stick the chocolate on the graham.” I said demonstrating the process, “then you roast the ‘mallow.” I said sticking my poker with the marshmallow into the firepit until it was burnt to a crisp. “Once it’s nice and crispy, you stick the mallow onto of the chocolate, then you take the other graham and smoosh it together. And last and certainly my favorite part.” I took a big bite before telling him with my cheeks stuffed with melted marshmallow, chocolate and graham crackers, “You stuff yourself!”
“I’ve always wanted to ask, why are they called that? Smores?”
“Because you always want some more.” He laughed at the corny joke. “babe I swear, you’ll find out that it ain’t just a joke. Go on.” I handed him his poker as well as the marshmallow bag.
He did as I told him in the exact order it needed to be done but just before he took that first bite I told him to wait as I got my phone out and went to my camera and switched it to video.
“Trust me, I’m gonna wanna keep this. Okay take a bite now.” I said as I pressed the record button. He lifted the smore to his mouth and took that first bite. Already his marshmallow oozing down his fingers as he tried to take in as much as he could without over stuffing his mouth.
I watched as his eyes widened and he let out a loud moan as he threw his head back.
“Didn’t I tell you? Makes you want to stuff like 10 of them after you eat your first smore.”
“This is…..” he chewed it up more before finally swallowing it and he continued, “This is the most delicious thing I’ve ever had in my entire life.”
“Even better than nougat?” I asked exasperatedly.
“You know nothing will ever take the place of nougat in my heart.”
“Damn and I thought I could convert you.” I said stopping the recording.
“Sorry sweetheart. I wonder what a smore would taste like with nougat.”
“You keep that blasphemous excuse of chocolate away from the sacred smores! They are made with Hershey’s milk chocolate bars and they shall stay that way!” I said defending my precious smores honor.
“I still don’t see why you hate nougat so much?”
“I told you it’s a disgusting, excuse of a chocolate bar! They make it look like a chocolate bar but they got in stuff that shouldn’t go together BLECH!!” Jack rolled his eyes.
“One day I’ll convert you to appreciate my lovely nougats.”
“The day that happens is the day that Rowena allows Hell for freeze over.” We continued to snack on the smores until we were stuffed and we decided that now would be a good time to shut ourselves in the tent for the night.
We safely disposed of the trash and put the food in the spare cooler and I locked it up tight so that no bears would come by. Jack doused the fire and I turned on the lantern as we entered inside the tent. I hung the lantern on the little hook just above our heads and we got our sleeping bags ready for the night.
“Hey (Y/n).”
“Yes Jack?” I asked as I was spreading out my two fleece blankets over my sleeping bag.
“Guess what this is.” I turned towards him and saw him making shadow puppets using the lantern above us. It was a long serpent like creature but it wasn’t a snake.
“A Chinese water dragon?”
“Right! Now you do one.”
“Okay but be warned I’m nowhere as good as you.” I clasped my hands together and raised up my right index and tall finger and bent them a bit for the antlers. With the rest of my fingers I molded the face and nose and asked him, “Any guesses?”
“Those things on top are they—horns?”
“Close.”
“Oh no wait they’re antlers. Is it a deer?”
“Sure is.”
“Okay, okay my turn again. Umm…..Oh I got it! You won’t be able to get this.” I saw the silhouette of what almost looked like a musk ox but I knew it wasn’t.
For one it was even bulkier than the ones I’ve seen online, and the horns on it were way too long and swirled inward too much. I knew there was no way this was a ram due to its large size. Until it finally hit me.
“Oh I know exactly what this is!”
“Do you?”
“Of course I do. What you don’t think I know a Tusken raider’s mighty steed the Bantha?”
“You’re good.” I shrugged cockily.
“Gave you your Star Wars knowledge, remember you must my young padawan.” I said in my best worst Yoda impression. He laughed as he brought me in close to him, our hands intertwining with each other’s while his free arm stroked patterns on my lower back and my free hand rested on his knee.
We looked into each other’s eyes and I could feel my heart racing faster the longer I looked into his innocent yet striking blueish-green eyes. He raised our intertwined hands up and placed my palm against his cheek before covering it with his own.
“(Y/n) I—I love you.”
“I love you too Jack.”
“No I mean. I like, really, really love you. So much so that I think I…..” I noticed how his adam’s apple slightly bounced as he swallowed anxiously and his jaw went tense as he turned away from me. In fact I could just see the poor boy tensing up.
“Jack, Jack look at me.” He hesitated but he turned his head back to face me. I moved my hand to his jawline and stroked it gingerly. “You know you can tell me anything right?” he nodded.
“I just……don’t want to scare you away.”
“Why would I be scared? Jack remember what we promised each other when we first started dating?”
“No keeping secrets like my brothers.” Jack repeated.
“Exactly. So c’mon out with it babe. What’s on your mind?”
“I…..” he sighed deeply but took another deep breath before saying. “As I said before, I really, really love you. And I know we talked about how far we want this relationship to go and you told me how when the time is right, we could—take things to the next step and……I want to do that.”
Oh……wow that’s—that is definitely something that should not be kept inside. I mean we have been dating for the past 3 years now after 6 years of knowing each other. And yeah he’s not the only pure-white virgin of the team (I still got the dragon scar to prove that).
“Wow. Okay that—”
“I probably made things awkward now, didn’t I?” he groaned as he scooted away from me pacing around the tent. “I’m such an idiot! Why did I have to open my big mouth and say that?! I—” I stopped him by grabbing his biceps and interrupted his ranting.
“Hey! Hey Jack! Jack!” he stopped to look at me. “To say I’m surprised that that is what you had buzzing around your brain for is a lot to take in. But I’m glad you told me. And I think we should sit down and talk so you hear what I have to say now.” He nodded nervously as we came back to our sleeping bags, the two of us sitting across from one another.
I took his hands and gave them a soft squeeze before starting.
“Jack. These past several years of knowing you have been—the best in my life. I have never felt this type of love towards any other guy. Now you know that I’m a virgin too right?”
“Yes that was the first thing you told me because you were worried I’d break up with you because you didn’t have experience.” My face flushed as I cleared my throat.
“Yeah because most guys prefer experiences and one night stands rather than taking care of their girl afterwards. But anyways the point is, with you—I felt like I was getting the perfect guy. Cute, brave, loyal, kind, funny, protective but not possessive, well-mannered. Some days I couldn’t believe just shortly after we began dating that you were real.”
“I care about you (Y/n).”
“And I care about you Jack. Which is why I think—no I know that I’m ready too.” His eyes slowly went wide.
“You—you are?”
“Yeah. Going on this camping trip without my brothers constant helicoptering or even Cas suddenly popping up before us, the fun we both had together and showing you what it meant to go on a camping trip I—I feel like I’m ready to take the next step, so long as you were.”
“Because consent goes both ways.” Jack said.
“Exactly. But there is one thing I am concerned about.” He tilted his head like a puppy before asking me.
“What?”
“Well we’re in a public campground. And yes although we have our private section we’re not entirely alone. Plus the rangers do their nightly patrol to make sure no troublemakers are out and about. And from what I remembering hearing all those girls with Dean. Don’t ask! I uhh—”
“I can take care of that.” This time I tilted my head and looked at him questioningly. Of course I knew nephilims are powerful beings but what can we do that’ll not get us kicked out or worse scarring an innocent child?
His eyes glowed their sunshine gold for a few seconds before they phased back to his normal eye color.
“No one should bother us now. Whatever we do in this tent won’t be heard on the outside.”
“You made this tent sound-proof?”
“Yeah. Watch.” He then let out his angelic-like scream which sounded like a boat horn times 20. I covered my ears until he stopped and he gestured for me to look outside the tent. I went over to the door, unzipped it and peeked out and saw that no one had woken up, or started asking just what that unholy scream was. I zipped the door backup and said.
“Wow. You never cease to amaze me.” He cutely shrugged as I sat back down in front of him wrapping my arms around his neck. “So….shall we get busy?” I couldn’t help but chuckle.
“I would—like that. What do we uhh do first?”
“Well typically it’s best to get warmed up first before we get to the final stretch.”
“Warmed up? What you mean like exercise?” I giggled as I shook my head.
“No babe. I mean like making out. Touching each other, that kinda stuff.”
“So like what we normally do when your brothers aren’t around?”
“Bingo.”
“I already know some of the things you like, will that help?”
“Yeah. So—you ready Jack?” he nodded as I slowly leaned in and captured his lips with mine.
I felt his hands come up to cup my jawline as our kissed slowly deepened. Our tongues coming together for a slow, passionate dance as I felt myself slowly being lowered down onto our sleeping bags and blankets. After the need for air became too much, we separated from each other but our noses softly grazed against the other’s as our breaths danced across the other’s face.
“Can I take your shirt off?” he asked me.
“So long as I get to take yours off.” He nodded and I was the first to remove his shirt before he lifted mine off. As soon as my bare upperbody (minus the bra I had on) was exposed to him, Jack almost seemed entranced. He stroked through all the scars I’ve gotten over the years from various cases and points in my life.
“Did they hurt?” he said stroking the dragon scar I got when I was 14 years old.
“That one did for a while, others it just depended on how deep or dangerous the creature was.”
“It’s like a painting. Like connect the dots but with scars.” He said as he slowly traced over each scar then began connecting them into various shapes and patterns. “Like the constellations in the night sky.” I felt tears in my eyes and even felt one slid down my face. Before I could catch it, Jack’s thumb gingerly wiped it away as he hovered over me.
He once again captured my lips as his hands slowly trailed down to my chest just short of my bra. I separated from his lips and whispered to him.
“Put your hands on me Jack.” He kissed my lips again as his hands were now on top of my boobs. Gently and affectionately groping them through the bra which sent shivers down my spine. I let out a soft moan as his lips moved from my mouth to the side of my neck.
I closed my eyes as I wrapped my arms around his frame and felt his lips kiss, nip and lick at my neck. I gasped as he got a favorite weak spot of mine. Arching my back I reached behind and unhooked my bra exposing my bare breasts to the cool air but they were soon encompassed by Jack’s hands.
“They’re soft.” I heard him whisper in my neck.
“Would you like to kiss them Jack?”
“Is that what you want?” I nodded. He kissed my shoulder before moving across my collar bone. Slowly with each kiss he went lower and lower until he came to my right breast and began kissing it.
My eyes rolled in the back of my head as I stretched my arms out and gripped my pillow so tightly I could feel my nails through the sheets. Jesus no wonder why those girls were always moaning in Dean’s room if this is what it feels like. His lips soon encompassed my right nipple and I felt him gently suck on it which caused me to wrap my hands over his head to keep him there. Stroking and even slightly pulling on his golden locks which caused him to moan.
And hearing him moan while he sucked on my nipple sent a pleasurable feeling down to my lower region. After a few seconds he released my nipple before looking back up at me. I adjusted our position so that I was now on top of him and began kissing his neck.
He let out a few choked gasps as I kissed lower down towards his chest before coming back up again. His arms wrapped around me tightly as I nipped at the junction on the left side of where his neck and shoulder met. After leaving a fairly nice little hickey I knew would form there, Jack and I stared at each other’s eyes once again panting softly.
“So we uhh—” he asked.
“If you wish to continue. Yeah we-we can.” I said clearing my throat as I was still slightly dizzy from the pleasure that had made me blind for a moment back there.
“Do I or do you remove our umm…..”
“It doesn’t matter, I guess I could do it if you’re comfortable with it.”
“Yeah. I trust you (Y/n).” I softly smiled and gently pecked his lips before I placed my hands at the rim of his sleep pants and looked at him one last time.
“You ready?” I asked him. He nodded giving me consent before I reached in to not only grab his sleep pants but also his boxers as I slowly scooted them off his surprisingly silky-smooth legs. Once they were off, I then reached for my own pants and underwear and slowly removed them until we were as naked as told in the tale of Adam and Eve.
“So I—guess I just….put it inside you?” he asked me. “How do I know if I—”
“I think we’ll cross that bridge once we get there. Just….be gentle, okay?” he stroked a strand of hair out of my face.
“Always.” He pecked my lips once more before having me return on the bottom while he resumed his position on top of me. Our foreheads pressed together as he leaned down and kissed me and I felt him enter inside me.
I let out a hiss of pain and let out a painful groan, he stopped and looked down at me concerned.
“Should we stop? I’m hurting you aren’t I? I swear I’m not trying to it’s just….”
“I know Jack. Just…..let me get adjusted. Keep still for a moment.” I eased his anxiety by cupping his face into my hands. He nodded and kept still as I told him while I got used to feeling him inside of me. I took a few deep breaths before telling him, “Okay I’m ready.”
“You sure?” I nodded. He slowly pushed further inside of me kissing my neck any time I groaned or hissed in pain. His hands gently massaged my back and hips as he applied the right pressure to get my muscles to relax with each push he did.
Once we got pass the painful stage of the first time, there suddenly came a wave of pleasure as Jack slowly began pumping himself in and out of me. My mouth opened in an O shape as I gasped and grunted and Jack did the same as he kept thrusting in and out.
“Oh Jesus! Oh Jack! Jack! Jack! Jack! Holy shit that fee-Ahh!”
“I know. It……it’s good for…..me too.” He said through his grunts. We wrapped our arms around the other as we feverishly and passionately kissed each other. Our tongues dancing a sloppy dance as Jack continued to hit all the right spots.
“I—I’m gonna…..please Jack. Let us cum together!”
“Is-is that what—what that feeling is? Cause I UGH! I want to cum too.”
“Let us go—toge—together.” He nodded as he picked up the pace and our grunts and howls mixed in together until finally we came together. Jack collapsed on top of me, his head resting on my shoulder while I kept my arms wrapped around him stroking through his hair.
He looked into my eyes as I felt him trembling under my fingers. The small bangs on his head clung onto his forehead as small beads of sweat sat upon his brow.
“You’re trembling.” I whispered.
“I’ll be fine. Are you okay?”
“That was…..the second best thing I’ve ever experienced in my entire life.”
“What was the first?”
“Getting you into Star Wars.” We softly chuckled as I placed my hand on the back of his head, leaned it down so that I could kiss his forehead and he rested his head on my bare chest.
“Is this what it feels like afterwards? I think Dean called it afterglow.” Jack asked me.
“More or less. But it’s even better than I could imagine.” I felt Jack cuddle into my sternum and even giving my collarbone a soft kiss.
“You—don’t think your brothers are gonna find out about this, do you?”
“If they do, I’ll handle it. I’m not a little girl anymore so I can do whatever I want.” I kissed the crown of his head. “Hey get this,” he looked up at me, “Tomorrow at the lodge they’re having fantasy movie night and can you guess what they’re showing?”
“Star Wars?” I nodded. “Can we go see it? Can we, please? Please? Please? Please? Please?”
“Now how can I say no to this adorable face.” I said as I cupped his cheek. We got back on our clothes before cuddling into our sleeping bags and snuggled them close together. “G’night Jack.”
“Goodnight (Y/n). I—I love you.”
“I love you too baby.” I let out a deep sigh before succumbing to sleep.

Mistakes (Jack Kline)
The mistakes that brought you closer to him.
The first mistake you made was to accept working with the Winchester brothers. You should have never broken your habit of working alone. The second mistake you made was turning your back on that witch bitch. She sent your way a curse that was powerful enough to knock you off your feet. The third mistake you made was opening your eyes after you fainted. You should have known better than to believe the spell was purely physical. So when you stared up into the blue eyes of the Nephilim, you know you’re fucked, and you don’t care.
“God, you are beautiful.” You emphasize each word, your gaze remains locked, not caring about the rest of the world. Jack looks positively puzzled by your statement, but it is not him who speaks.
“You must’ve hit your head harder than we thought.” Dean’s voice comes from your right, and it’s only then that you realize you’re no longer in the witch’s hut where the battle went down. Instead, you’re back at the Winchesters’ motel room.
“What?” You wonder out loud, your eyes shifting to Dean for a second, before looking at Jack again. “It’s not my head hurting, but my heart.” Your following words are dramatic, “Jack, I’m sorry I didn’t notice before. You are the most beautiful Nephilim I have ever seen.” If heart eyes were a thing of reality, you’re pretty sure you would have them now.
“Thank you?” Says Jack, and although he put space between you to move further back, your grin doesn’t falter.
Sam murmurs your name softly, “are you sure you’re ok?” He inspects back and forth between you and Jack. Maybe it’s the way you’re staring at the Nephilim, or maybe the fact that a witch did throw a spell at you, realization quickly dawns on his face. “A love spell?” He chuckles, “I was worried about that bright red light she cast on you, but it’s just a love spell.”
For the first time since you woke up, you pay attention to Sam. “Love spell? What are you talking about?”
It’s the eldest brother who answers this time. “Right, the witch put a love curse on you and that’s why you’re looking at Jack as if you wanna take a bite out of him.” The smirk on his face is all too know-it-all as if he had solved the mystery by himself.
“Curse?” your voice is low, threatening, all directed at Dean. “You think my love for Jack is a curse?” You stand from the bed, being mindful of pushing Jack back gently. Fortunately for Dean, your gun is far away from your reach. “I might have met Jack just a handful of times, but my feelings for him have grown stronger by the second.” Your next words are for Jack, “There’s a part of me that has known you my whole life, Jack. Can’t you feel it too?” Your smile is all too bright as you place a hand on the Nephilim’s chest, right above his heart.
As it turned out, your confession only further convinced the siblings that you had been hit with a love spell. They decided that the only answer was to kill the witch -who got away earlier- for the curse to lift. Of course, with your hazed thoughts, you were no use. So, to prevent you from doing anything reckless to stop them, they all agreed to leave you in the motel with Jack.
Leaving you alone with Jack was both a good and a bad idea. It prevented you from screwing up in the field, but it also gave you what -who- you desired most: Jack. “Don’t worry,” you tell him as you sit across from him on the small table. He has been tense ever since the brothers left. “Even if they kill the witch, my love for you will remain the same.” Jack smiles awkwardly across from you. “You don’t believe me?” You challenge.
“I- you don’t really know me.” He whispers softly, but still, there’s a blush on his cheeks that spurs you on.
“And I told you that doesn’t matter.” You grin at him. “I’ll prove it to you!” You stand up from your chair and walk his way with determination.
Instantly, he jumps from his chair. “Wow, what are you doing?”
You continue walking his way until his back collides with the wall. “I’m proving to you that our feelings are real.” You place your hands on his chest once again, the crazy beating of his heart brings a smile to your face. “If you didn’t feel at least something, I’m sure you would control yourself better.” Despite his lack of encouragement, Jack doesn’t push you away. “I mean, you’re Nephilim, you could overpower me easily.”
Jack seems to be considering his options, and for a moment, you believe that he might actually push you away. Instead, he grabs your hands to hold them in his. “I think you’re very attractive, and I would love to get to know you… but maybe we should wait until the witch is dead, don’t you think?”
Rationally, you should accept what Jack is suggesting. You should step away and give the boy some space. It’s safe to say that you’re not very rational right now. With an angelic grin adorning your face, you pull Jack by the hands and closer to you, your faces only inches away. He is too stunned to do anything when you close the distance between the two of you.
Your lips touch his experimentally, first. The contact is almost delicate, timid, and innocent. Nothing too passionate, unlike the words you uttered before. Perhaps you’re afraid he’ll run away. Once you’re sure that he won’t, your body relaxes. Your hands let go of his and travel all the way to the nape of his neck. The Nephilim’s hands fall by the sides of his body. He doesn’t know what to do with them. It is then that you start to move your mouth on his. Jack’s follows your rhythm insecurely, almost as if it were his first kiss. He sighs and doesn’t step away, your chests pressed together, molding perfectly. You melt into the feeling of him, but you don’t dare to push further. You want to eat him whole and more, just like Dean said. But Jack is too sweet for that, so you control yourself. What you have right now is too good to be true. It is definitely worth pretending you are hexed by a witch. The last mistake you made, was falling in love with Jack Kline for real.

Somewhere Only We Know
“Is it okay if I sit here?”
The whirl of wind trumped the gentle voice of the boy beside you. He wore a letterman jacket. A yellow hue reflected off its stripes from the street light next to the bus stop.
“What?”
“Oh, sorry.” He raised a jazz hand. “I’m Jack. I’ve noticed people here like to claim benches. Is it okay if we share?”
You shrugged then scooched over. Your phone lit up with the time as you moved. The bus would arrive soon. After that was one long trip to nowhere. You’d figure it out on the way there. That was part of the adventure.
“Where are you going?” Jack’s cheerful voice startled you.
You rubbed cold arms. “Nowhere.”
“Right. You don’t know me.” He faced you, lowered his head. “I promise I’m not a serial killer.”
“Didn’t think so.” You studied him for a lingering moment. He looked too young to be some psycho killer but was lanky enough you could beat him in a fight if he was. “Where are you going?”
“I don't know.” He tilted his head toward the sky. “Wherever the bus takes me?”
“Nebraska.”
“There. I’m going there.” Jack smiled, and you didn’t have the heart to tell him Nebraska was just… Nebraska. “Are you cold? Here. Have my jacket.”
“What? No.” You swatted his hand away.
“It’s fine,” Jack said. “I don’t get cold.” He placed his jacket on your shoulders then returned to his dreamy state, practically drooling.
You were staring at him now, but he didn’t seem to mind. The gap between his teeth broke through his smile; his bright eyes lit up in the street light, the yellow hue reflecting off his irises now. He had this innocent look, like all the pain and despair of the world couldn’t hurt him. Not now, at least. Right now, all that mattered was Nebraska.
“I’m running away,” you blurted. “Sort’ve.”
Jack’s smile broke. “Why would you do that?”
“Well, it’s not running, really. I’m old enough to take care of myself. I’m just going on an… adventure.”
“I like adventures.” His smile was back. That gap in between his teeth.
The bus parked in front of you. It was empty, aside from a few scattered passengers. The doors opened. The driver made eye contact.
“Do you want to go on an adventure with me, Jack?” you asked.
He pressed a thumb on the dip of his chin. His hair blew into his face. “I’m not sure,” he said.
A pin dropped in your stomach. You spent five minutes talking and jumped straight to fifth base: asking him to travel with you. You didn’t even know him, really. He could’ve been a serial killer, a really nice one. And if he wasn’t, he must’ve thought you were weird now.
Jack inhaled a swift breath and released it with a sigh. “Are you a serial killer?” he asked.
“What?” you laughed. “No, of course not. I’m Y/n.”
“Then yes. I would like to go on an adventure with you, Y/n.” He pushed up from the bench and that lulling smile on his face met yours.
A warm heat encompassed you as you stepped onto the bus. Jack took the cushioned seat next to the window and looked out at the night sky. You took the aisle seat.
The bus shook as the engine rumbled to life. You were going to Nebraska. The land of farms, corn, prairies, and the occasional city. You could picture it now—the petrichor smell of wet grain, the bright lights illuminating cities—and while you weren’t sure if you’d stay, you were ready for your next adventure. And happy it wouldn’t be alone.
Jack traced a smiley onto the condensated window glass before relaxing into his seat. "I've never been on a bus before," he said.
“Don’t worry. It’ll be fine.”
Trees flew by as the bus began to move and you became more comfortable with Jack. You had only just met him but traveling together felt right. And you weren’t sure what he was leaving behind, but were glad to have him by your side.
You took Jack’s hand in yours, startling him a bit, and said, “Next stop, Nebraska.”

Save Yourself - Ch. 19
Dean Winchester x Female Reader
Oh For One So Pure
Series Summary: “I promise.” Those two words would trap you in a life you never wanted. You are an artist, a hunter, a Winchester. And yet the pain in Dean’s eyes as demanded you live the life he wants you live, you couldn’t say no. You met the Winchesters by chance, found out they were real people. And you figured it was a once in a life time thing, but then Dean called you, and so did a new job. Both leading to the life you wanted, a family that didn’t begin or end in blood and a once in a life time love. And he said leave it and him behind, forget. But you can’t. Chapter Summary Jack is gone. Well, you know exactly where he is; with Mary in what you’ve all agreed is the Apocalypse world. Do any of you know how to get there? No. But what are Winchesters really good at? Distracting themselves with hunting. When Donna calls in a favor for hunting down a possible not-so-supernatural creep, the three of you practically leap through the phone. But this case, and the multiverse problem none of you know how to untangle, bring up some dormant feelings about what it means to be a hunter… and even more about what it means to be a Winchester.
Warnings: Cannon typical violence, some fluff, some sad feels
You’ve been a Winchester long enough to have seen some crazy shit. And you’ve been a Supernatural fan long enough to know all the crazy shit. And when Donna called in a favor to find her niece, you kinda hoped it would be the most black and white monster case you could find. And as expected it was not. Finding a black market ebay for body parts wasn’t something you thought could exist. But if there’s a market, someone will always be there to fill it.
“I can’t believe you’ve been through this.” You grimace as Doug’s temporary fangs disappear.
“At least everyone here has souls.” Dean looks over at Sam, who purses his lips together as if he wishes he could forget that whole incident. Your phone buzzes in your pocket and you quickly silence it.
“That’s the fourth time it’s rung.” Dean comments, raising a brow at you.
“Becky. I missed the last two meetings.” You confess. You were normally pretty good about warning her when you’d be busy with a hunt; but everything with Jack being so unpredictable…
“Call her back, we should be back at the bunker tomorrow.” Dean gives your hand a squeeze. You nod and walk out into the brisk night air.
“Hey, sorry about the last couple of weeks-”
“THANK GOD YOU’RE ALIVE!” She shouts into the phone. “I thought the worst when your phone kept going to voicemail.” She lets out a long sigh, taking a few deep breaths.
“I could see that.” You chuckle.
“Don’t give me a heart attack like that!”
“I’ll do better in the future.” You hold up your hand in surrender. “But what’s up?”
“I have a few design projects I thought you could brainstorm on… And Sera’s been asking about the possibility of continuing the Supernatural books?” Her voice goes an octave higher at the mention of the books.
“Send me the ideas for the stuff to design-”
“Doug, wait!” You hear Donna yell.
“I’ll get back to you about the books-” You reach for the door to go back inside when it swings open and Doug runs into you.
“Doug?” You frown as he gathers himself. “Becky, I gotta go.” You abruptly hang up, lightly grabbing Doug’s shoulder. “Hey, what’s the rush?”
He stops, looking at you over his shoulder.
“Why do you stay?” He whispers, the defeat clear in his voice.
“Well, I sure as hell wasn’t going to leave Donna high and dry-“
“Why do you stay with Dean? Knowing about the– the monsters?” He corrects. The panic rolls off of him like a fog, tendrils curling and whispering for you to get lost in it.
“What do ya mean?”
“Your husband fights vampires, werewolves… monsters! Things that aren’t supposed to exist! How can you stay?” He harshly whispers, as if saying it too loud makes it any more true. You stare blankly at him; sure you’ve seen plenty of people shaken after their first encounter with the supernatural; but Doug? He’s had to have seen gruesome stuff in his time on the force.
“It’s his job,” you frown, “It would be the same if he were in the military or law enforcement.” You watch as he recedes into his whatever panic storm is happening in his mind. “Are you ok? Did you talk with Donna?” You place a hand on his shoulder, his whole body deflating at your touch.
“I wanted to be a cop to help folks. I didn’t sign on for monsters.” He looks off into the distance, the recent horrors he just witnessed clearly dancing in front of his eyes.
“That’s all Dean and Sam do, save people.” You smile, leaning forward until you catch his gaze. “They unfortunately didn’t have a no monster option. It’s also why Dean gets three hours of sleep a week, can drink a liquor store dry and has enough trauma that any regular person would go insane.”
“And you’re ok with that?” He scoffs, shaking his head at all the terrifying possibilities about what your words mean.
“I didn’t marry him because I think I can fix him. I love him, as he is.” You shrug, watching the thoughts churn in his head as he tries to figure out the next move. “You’re really going to give up Donna because she fights monsters?” You haven’t spent nearly as much time with Donna as you like, but the one thing you know for sure if you both will hang onto your husbands no matter the price.
“I don’t think I’m strong enough.” He whispers. You sigh, pulling him into a hug.
“She thinks you are. And so do I.” You squeeze him tight. “Can I tell you something?” You ask as you let him go. He gives you a small nod, wiping a tear away. “Leaving Donna won’t make the fear go away. It won’t stop you from looking at every person differently. It won’t change the fact that you know what lurks in the dark. But trust me when I say that having her by your side is better than any future without her.” He studies you for a moment, brain calculating all the scenarios.
“Does Dean feel that about you?” He whispers.
The question punches you right in the gut. It should have been a simple answer. A yes of course he does, that’s why we're married. But your mouth feels like it’s full of sand. Every moment where Dean has pushed you away, told you to leave, to forget, comes rushing to the forefront. And here you stand. Telling Doug he should stay; that he should want to stay. But you have no evidence that it would be good for him; that he could continue on with his life as normal. The one thing you learned being with Dean is that you were involved with the family business whether you wanted it or not. It’s just how it went being close to a hunter.
The motel door creaks open, Sam and Donna making their way to the car.
“Ready sweetheart?” Dean asks, taking your hand.
“Ya.” You smile at him, giving his hand a squeeze as you turn back to Doug. “Talk with Donna, she deserves that. You both deserve to make a decision together.” You give Doug a small smile, letting Dean guide you to the car.
_______
One thing nice about driving with the boys is you could boot Sammy to the front and sprawl out in the back. Dean even keeps a little blanket in the trunk for you. Leather seats are three things: cold, hot or sticky. Can’t have baby makin you uncomfortable sweetheart. You smile at the memory as you stare at the back of Dean’s head. The rain gently thumps at the windows, Sammy’s fingers clacking against the keys of his laptop.
“You were a little tough on Donna back there.” Dean states, keeping his voice low to not disturb you.
“What?” Sam frowns, the clacking coming to an abrupt stop.
“Just sayin’.” Dean shrugs, taking in a deep breath. He couldn’t believe he told Donna to let Doug go; Sam, telling her to let the love of her life go.
“Was I wrong? I mean, when has knowing us ever worked out for anyone?” His eyes flick to you as you roll to face the back of the seat.
“(Y/N)?” Dean shrugs.
“What?”
“It’s worked out for (Y/N), according to her.” Dean clarifies.
“Oh ya, I bet she always dreamed of falling in love with a guy who constantly tells her she can’t be a hunter because she could die. And who constantly makes life altering decisions for her.” Sam deadpans.
“We save people, Sam.” He points out. Save tons of people, every day, every year. That has to count for something.
“Yeah, we also get people killed, Dean. Kaia, for instance. She helped us and she died for it. And the list of (Y/N) getting hurt or almost dead isn’t exactly short.”
“Hey, look, I know you’re in some sort of a—”
“No, no, no, don’t – don’t… You keep saying I’m in a dark place, but I’m not, Dean. Everything I’m saying is the truth. It’s our lives. And I tried to pretend it didn’t have to be. I tried to pretend (Y/N) would be safe, that we could have Mom back and Cas and – and help Jack. But we can’t. This ends one way for us, Dean. It ends bloody.”
The three of you sit in silence. Dean always told you he would go down fighting; it always seemed to be the hand he was dealt. He just never actually died, so you both had agreed that maybe that’s not the true end designed for him. But Sam giving up on the happily ever after? That was just as bad as you giving up…
“You’re the reason she holds on so tight.” He whispers, seeing Sam turn toward him out of the corner of his eye. “You told her to always keep fighting; to fight for the life she wants, to fight for me. I was prepared to let her go years ago. Prepared for my soul to ache for the rest of my life.” He accuses. “But you’re the one who said to not give her up. To fight for her. Why –”
“Maybe I shouldn’t have.” Sam interrupts. You shift in your seat, moving your blanket to muffle the sound of your heart breaking.
_______
One would think spending their whole life fighting everything that lurks in the dark would make it uncomfortable. But as Sam lays in the pitch black of his room, he feels calm. He’s embraced the fact that he lives in the dark, like some creature waiting for whatever fight is next. No searching for something to hold on to, for hope about the future.
God was no better than any other supernatural being, Mom and Jack are as good as dead… After tossing and turning he gets up, easily making his way down the hall in the dark. He stops at your studio door and listens; he can hear the faint clicking of your keyboard accompanied by a faint static noise he can only assume is music. He gently pushes the door, you’re bopping your head along to whatever’s coming through your headphones as you mess with a project on your computer.
He lets his eyes wander around the room; it’s filled with fabric, blank canvases, half painted paintings, partially done costumes and a large wall of books. This room is very much you; warm, inviting and filled with things that make you happy. It was often a safe space for him, both when you were in it and when you weren’t. You both had many late night conversations about anything that came to mind, talked through a lot of the darkness he carried with him.
“Geezus Sammy!” You jump out of your chair, nearly knocking over your water bottle. “Scared the tarts out of me!” You move it out of arms reach and slide off your headphones.
“Right, sorry.” He frowns. You tilt your head to the side, walking over to him and gently taking his hands in yours.
“You ok?” you ask. He gives you a curt nod, eyes looking anywhere but at you.
“Whatever happened to that painting, the one with the two hands holding onto each other?”
“It’s here, haven’t got around to hanging it up.” You pull it out from a stack that’s leaned against the wall, putting it up on your easel and sliding the fabric sheet off to reveal it.
“Always keep fighting.” Sam mumbles, his fingers gently tracing the words. It’s written dozens of times in the background, your perfect sloppy writing making it feel like you’re telling him to do just that.
“Sammy!” You yell over your shoulder in the general direction of his room.
“Ya?” He yells back.
“Come here!”
He pads down the hall, standing in your doorway.
“Need you to hand model with me.” You wave him over. You take one hand, having him wrap his fingers around your wrist while you do the same. “Now pull.”
He pulls, a little too hard, and you ram into his chest.
“Not that hard Sammy!” you giggle.
“Ok, ok… not that hard. Got it.”
He huffs in amusement at the memory. It seemed silly at the time but it’s moving to see your hand holding him up, keeping him from slipping away.
“Why is one side written upside down?”
“Because love flows both ways.” You rotate the picture so now his hand is holding yours. You slot your hand into his, leaning your head on his arm as the two of you study it.
“What if holding on was the mistake?” He asks.
“It wasn’t.” You can feel him shift against you. “I didn’t walk into this life blind Sam.” You bite down on your tongue, praying the tears not to slip down your face. “I-”
He pulls you into his arms, squeezing you tight. He has always pulled you closer; pulled you into the hunting life, into his brother’s life, into his own life. Selfish. It was the only word that came to his mind. He always thought that karma would follow through. That every single monster he and Dean put in the ground would let them have just a sliver of something good. And he was hoping it would be you. But maybe Dean was right this whole time, you’ll only end up hurt or dead.

“You're Perfect To Me.”
Pairing: Jack Kline x Winchester!Reader
You were out with Castiel and Jack to solve a case. Of course, it took some convincing: mainly because your eldest brother didn’t trust you to be around Jack and hunt without them. Sam didn’t really mind, so he convinced Dean to allow you to go because apparently “it would be good for you.”
(Time skip)
The three of you were done with the case but you had almost gotten yourself killed in the process. You were clumsy and the vampire had almost gotten you, luckily, Cas was there to save you along with Jack. Dean would not shut up about it and you were frankly getting annoyed- couldn’t he just let it slide? It was your first time hunting without him.
“Yeah, yeah. I know, I almost got killed. Blah, blah.” you rolled your eyes at your brothers lecturing you. “(Y/N). It isn’t a joking matter, you would’ve been dead if Cas and Jack hadn’t been there.” Sam sighed, putting his hands on his hips. “I know. But I could’ve dealt with it just fine.” you lied. “And plus, I’m clearly alive and happy now, right?”
After hours of lecturing, arguing and yelling, you finally went back into your room. They seemed to have drilled the idea of you being a bad hunter into your head. Someone knocked at your door, and you rushed to open it. Jack stood there, with flowers in hand. You were confused to say the least. “Uh… hi? What are those for?”
“Sam told me that if I liked someone, I should buy them flowers to be romantic.. so I did!” You nearly choked on your own saliva, Jack liked you? You had a tiny crush on him too but you never thought this would happen. “Oh. Uh, I-” you stared at your feet, blushing. “Well, I mean. I don’t understand why you’d like me though.. I’m a bad hunter and I’m terrible at basically everything, there is other perfect girls out there who would love a chance with you and I-”
“I’m ranting, aren’t I?” you laughed nervously. “(Y/N). I don’t care if they’re the most perfect girl in the world, they’re not you.” he spoke out, a tint of red shading his cheeks. Sam was watching by the wall, watching them finally admit their feelings. He felt like a proud father whose daughter had just scored a date with her crush.
(Another time skip)
“Nope. No way.” Dean shook his head. “There’s no way I’m letting a nephilim get with our sister.” You and Jack stood awkwardly, holding each other’s hands- not wanting to let go. “Oh, come on, Dean. Look at them, they’re adorable!” Sam pointed. Castiel was simply watching and sighing, but still felt somewhat happy for Jack and (Y/N).

If You Want It To Be - Part 3
Pairing: Dean Winchester x F. Reader
Summary: When your car breaks down after a hunt, Sam and Dean tow you back to the bunker for Christmas. This time of year gives you and Dean a little courage to be honest about what you both want. And what you want, is for him to see you. (18+)
AN: And here’s Part 3! This fic is an entry for @deanwinchesterswitch's TGWRC: Christmas in July event. 🩵❄️
Themes: Mistletoe (a classic), eggnog, Christmas dinner
Word Count: 3,600 Tags/Warnings: 18+! Smuttish, fluff and feels.
Part 3: Christmas Day
The next day, Christmas morning comes. You’re up early after a night of somewhat restful sleep (anticipation of today kept you up for a while).
And so are the guys, though their enthusiasm isn’t as bright as yours.
Everyone is still in their pajamas, the humans with their mugs of coffee as you corral your friends into the living room by the sparkling, multicolored tree.
During your trip to Walmart on your first night in, you managed to squeeze in some shopping for actual presents. Your wallet now hates you, and likely will until February.
But it’s worth it to see the guys’ faces when they find their names on gift-wrapped boxes under the tree. Jack in particular wears an expression of wonder, almost like a little kid. It makes you smile.
Everyone has a small gift from you, though they clearly weren’t expecting it. Sam accepts his parcel from you with an apologetic smile.
“Sorry, I don’t think any of us remembered about this part,” he says.
“No worries,” you wave him off. “It’s just a ‘thank you’ for letting me crash here for the holidays.”
You have a new book for Sam, an old-school Gameboy for Jack, a new set of ties for Castiel. You hold your breath when Dean sits down on the couch to open his.
He considers the small box with slightly furrowed brows. He glances up at you.
“What’d you do?” he asks. “You didn’t have to get me anything.”
“Just open it, Dean,” you reply with a laugh. A smile twitches at his face, and he finally obliges you.
Inside the black velvet box is a nice silver watch with a leather strap.
Dean blinks in surprise. He glances over at his empty wrist where his father’s watch used to rest, but he hasn’t replaced it since it broke after the witch hunt in Indiana.
You come over to sit beside him and point out the new watch’s features.
“This part is adjustable,” you explain. “I figured you could take it off and use the strap for your dad’s watch.”
A slow smile spreads across Dean’s face, warm and somewhat disbelieving. You bought him a whole new watch, just so he could use the leather strap for his old one.
Something in his heart tightens, and also eases when he looks up at you. You’re smiling, a little nervous.
And Dean can’t help himself. He cups a hand behind your head and kisses your cheek, wishing he could do more, but not wanting to invite curiosity. Already he can feel Sam’s gaze on both of you.
“Thanks, sweetheart,” Dean says. “This is…it’s real nice. Thank you.”
But Sam notices the warmth in his brother’s voice, and the way he looks at you. And the way you’re looking at him, like he hung the damn moon.
It brings a suspicious smile to Sam’s face.
When you offer to pick up breakfast, Dean intervenes and says you’ve done enough. Sam will get breakfast going, he insists. (And Sam, rolling his eyes, agrees with him.)
“I’m gonna step out for a sec, but I’ll be back,” Dean then says.
“See ya later,” you reply with a little wave before you go to help Jack set up his Gameboy. Castiel is already sorting through his new ties, arranging them by color, then by pattern on the sofa.
You glance over your shoulder though, and manage to catch the way Sam pulls his brother aside. You don’t hear what they’re saying, but it sparks your curiosity.
“What?” Dean asks. Sam raises a brow at him, with a knowing smile.
“Get her something good,” Sam tells him.
“Dude, shut up,” Dean holds a finger over his lips and glances over at you. Thankfully, you seem invested in helping Jack.
“I’m just saying. Put some effort in,” Sam persists. His eyes hold a teasing glint. “Nothing from the gas station.”
“All right, I got it,” Dean snipes back. It’s none of Sam’s business, really, but he already has an idea growing in his mind as he heads down to the garage.
Dean has all but disappeared since this morning. You thought the two of you were going to talk at some point, but you haven’t seen him all day.
Maybe it’s stupid, but you start to wonder if he’s avoiding you. If the gift was too much…
Sam happens to catch you lost in thought while you’re glazing a large ham in the kitchen.
“Can I help you with anything?” he asks.
“Sure,” you reply. “Want to peel the potatoes?”
You glance at the bag on the counter. Sam agrees and joins you to wash and start peeling for you.
“Have you seen Dean?” you ask him, hopefully subtle.
Sam’s lips start to form a knowing smile, but he dims it down. “He’s probably in the garage.”
“…Oh, right. God forbid I bother him while he’s working on his car,” you joke. Sam glances at you.
“Or yours, most likely,” he says. “He did promise to get it done by today. Didn’t you guys have a little bet going?”
He knew about that? you think with a blush.
“That was silly,” you admit. “It’s Christmas. He should just relax.”
“When my brother says he’s gonna do something, he commits,” Sam says. “He deals with people the same way.”
You raise a brow at him. “What do you mean?”
Sam just smiles, like he knows something you don’t. He finishes peeling the last potato and sets it down on the counter with the rest.
“All right, what’s next?” he asks.
Once the ham is in the oven and the other side dishes you and Sam prepared are set off to cook, you return to your room to shower and get ready for dinner later.
You decide to wear the dress you found while you were shopping, before you even knew your relationship with Dean would change.
You almost went with a red lacy one, but there was something about this dress—green velvet, off the shoulder sleeves and flaring at the waist. It’s simple, but pretty. You pair it with some comfortable black flats.
You spend longer getting ready, only having to redo your eyeliner once this time. Then you steel yourself, gaining some confidence, and you go downstairs.
Jack is in the kitchen, sneaking a finger in the cranberry sauce.
“I saw that,” you tease. He stiffens like you’ve caught him red-handed. He quickly tucks his hands behind his back. He notices how you’ve cleaned yourself up with a polite nod.
“You look very nice,” he says.
“Thanks!” you chirp, blushing lightly. “Want to help me set the table?”
Jack obliges you like the nice kid he is. You two set up the long dining table that the guys usually use for research, first with the new red tablecloth, then the plates and silverware and glasses.
And finally, while Jack checks on the ham in the oven, you place the (fake) gold candleholders on each side of the table.
Dean comes out of wherever he’s been hiding, right as you’re leaning far over the table to light a candle. You don’t realize how your dress rides up your thighs in the back, but Dean is captivated by the sight for a moment…until he clears his throat.
“Need some help there, sweetheart?”
His unexpected voice startles a yelp out of you. You flail as you lose your balance, but he hooks an arm around your waist and prevents you from catching your hand on fire. He brings you flush against him, smirking down at you.
“Nice reflexes,” he teases. “When’s your audition for the Karate Kid?”
“Oh, shut up,” you gripe back.
You shoot him a playful glare as you rest your palms against his chest. But it loses its effect when you melt into his subsequent kiss. You reach up to twine your arms around his neck, letting your nails graze up the back of his neck and through his hair.
He shudders a little, with a pleasant hum, making you smile against his lips.
He breaks from you with a customary Dean grin, which is equal parts flirtatious, amused, and a hint cocky.
“Miss me?” he asks. You smile through your blush, but you have to taper down your inclination to say yes. His gaze drags down your body with interest.
“I like this dress too,” he says, and his voice fairly rumbles. Along with his scrutiny, it makes your face flare with heat. Your fingers play with a button on his shirt, red flannel this time. He rubs the soft velvet along your hip.
You tilt your face up to him, despite your lingering blush.
“Where’ve you been all day?” you ask. He quirks a smile.
“I’ll show you,” Dean says.
Dean takes your hand and leads you downstairs to the garage.
There you find the remains of your car, which has rusted out parts strewn haphazardly all over the ground. You raise a brow. This is how he fixes your car?
“You are so not winning the bet.”
Dean snorts. “It’s an old rust bucket. Needs a complete fucking overhaul, or the scrap heap. If you really want, I’ll get the new parts, fix it up top to bottom…or, you could just take a stroll through my garage.”
He gestures around, where classic cars are lined up on either side of you. A wide grin spreads across your face.
“Oh my God, you’ll let me drive one of these?” you say in excitement.
“You can pick one out and take it home,” Dean replies. Though he doesn’t want to think about you leaving…maybe you two can talk that over later.
Your smile falters. “What? Dean, no. This is your collection.”
He pulls you in by your waist and gently bucks his hand beneath your chin.
“Call it my gift to you,” he says. You notice his father’s watch once again rests on his wrist, with the help of the new leather strap you bought for him.
“You’d really give me a whole freakin’ car?” you ask, tearing up and beaming bright at the same time.
Dean brushes your cheek tenderly with curled fingers; his answer is in his eyes. You try your best to blink away your would-be tears. He catches the one that falls from the corner of your eye with his thumb.
“Why don’t you go pick one out?” he suggests, nodding behind you.
Biting your lip, you reach up and kiss him sweetly before you get started. You miss the way Dean blushes a bit. Because you’re already meandering down the line of beautiful old classics.
Soon enough you stop at an interesting red one.
“Ooh, this one’s nice,” you say. Dean is unimpressed.
“No,” he shakes his head, crossing his arms.
“What, why?”
“I ain’t puttin’ you in a Volvo. Come on, you can do better than that.”
“But it’s cute.”
“Remember, you’re gonna be driving across state lines,” he reminds you. “You want something reliable, strong.”
You huff and decide to keep looking, but you lay a gentle hand on the side mirror.
“I might be back for you. Don’t go anywhere.”
A smile threatens Dean’s lips as he watches you. He knows for sure he’s losing the bet. But it’s worth it for this moment right here.
You flit between the rows of cars. Finally, you stop at a funky mint green one. It reminds you of a car your grandfather had when you were a kid, when he’d take you out for ice cream on a Sunday.
“You like that one?” Dean asks. He walks over and joins you at the car, soothing a hand over its hood.
“I think I do. What is it?” you ask.
“A Ford Thunderbird, 1960.” Dean’s gaze meets yours, and he smiles. “Good choice. 5.8-liter V8 engine. 300 horsepower. This gal was powerful in her time.”
“Let’s see if she still is,” you say with a grin.
So you and Dean break out the Thunderbird into the open roads of Lebanon, Kansas.
Dean gives you pointers on driving stick, as it’s been a while for you. But after a few minutes, you regain the hang of it and test the car’s powerful sounding engine. It almost rumbles as loud as Baby.
“Oh, crap. What about dinner?” you realize. “The guys must be waiting on us.”
“Eh, they’ll live,” Dean says with a grin. “Keep going. There’s a park right around the corner here.”
Sure enough, you’re about to turn into a park that borders on a small, but beautiful lake. You probably should’ve brought a coat; the car’s old heater isn’t doing you much good in your little dress.
But right now, you don’t care. Because this is a perfect moment, and you don’t think you could be much happier.
You park the car in view of the sparkling lake. Before Dean can turn to you and ask what you think of the car, you’ve started climbing over the upholstery over to his side.
“Whoa. Easy tiger,” he chuckles as you grunt and struggle.
“Here’s my Karate Kid audition,” you joke, earning an even deeper laugh from Dean.
But he helps guide you into his lap, where you straddle his hips and reach down to anchor his seat back. The two of you laugh when it momentarily gets stuck, but Dean is able to fix it. With a turn of his wrist, his seat jerks back and gives you more room to maneuver.
His warm hands smooth up the back of your thighs while you find purchase on his shoulders.
“Hmm. You’re cold, babe,” he remarks with a frown, and he rubs your legs more to generate some warmth on your skin. “Should’ve brought your jacket.”
Your legs might be cold, but your face heats up at the way he calls you babe. Like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Like you’re really his.
Your answering smile is both warm and playful.
“Who needs clothes when I’ve got a big, strong, flannel-wearing man to warm me up,” you tease, soothing your hands along his toned arms.
It lifts his frown into an amused grin, even as he shakes his head and grips your thighs more firmly.
“Oh, so I’m a portable heater now?” he remarks.
“Yup,” you nod with a grin as you lean down. “Do your job, heater.”
Swiping your hair over your shoulder, you lean down for a sweet kiss. But it quickly gains in passion as his tongue slips past the seam of your lips. His hands move to take a healthy grip of your ass, grinding you down into his lap.
A pleased sound gets trapped in your throat when you feel his length pressing against your core through his jeans. You slip a hand into his hair, deepening the kiss and nipping at his lower lip.
You feel like a teenager making out with your boyfriend in some backwoods clearing. But it’s an exhilarating feeling.
You never thought you’d be able to do this. Not with Dean.
You cup his face in your hands and pull back a bit.
“I love this car,” you say. “You really gonna give it to me?”
Dean smirks. Once again, your lipstick (though lighter this time) is smudged all over his mouth and chin. You wipe some of it off with your thumb.
“Maybe I won’t,” he says. “Maybe I’ll take my sweet time fixing that rusted out piece of shit sitting in my garage.”
You giggle against him, and his hands smooth up your thighs, rucking up the skirt of your dress.
“Is that your plan?” you reply. “Strand me at the bunker, make sure I can never go home?”
“Something like that,” he says. “Gotta keep my girl close.”
You huff. “Your girl? That’s presumptuous.”
“Oh, really?” Dean gives a deep chuckle. “Weren’t you the one who said this wasn’t a one-time deal?”
“No, you said that. I’m just along for the ride,” you quip.
But you think you’ve teased him too much when his amusement starts to fade. His green eyes dim to embers as he tilts his head.
“Is that right?” he asks.
You soften, gazing down at him with a more genuine smile. You press your hand to the side of his face, letting your thumb sooth over the apple of his cheek.
“Dean, of course not,” you say patiently. “It’s you. It’s always been you.”
That admission is thick in your throat. It comes out at nearly a whisper.
But then, the shadows begin to clear from Dean’s eyes. His lips curve into a more familiar smile.
He kisses you, and the two of you continue exploring one another. Not to mention, testing the limitations of a reclined car seat.
By the time you two get back to the bunker, the dinner table is a mess. The guys have clearly eaten without you, and now Sam is trying to explain the finer points of football to Cas and Jack in the living room. He pauses when he notices you and his brother walk in.
“Where’ve you guys been?” he asks. But he spies Dean’s hand resting on the small of your back with a smile. “The food is in the kitchen. All you need to do is heat it up.”
“Thanks!” you call to him on your way to the kitchen.
Dean means to follow you, but he stops short when he sees a framed picture of Mary Winchester hanging on the wall in the living room. He draws closer to it, not realizing that the others are watching him. Most of them with curiosity, and one with hopeful wariness.
His mouth curves with a slight smile. Someone caught her by surprise. He can tell by the way she’s looking over her shoulder in the 8” by 10” frame. She wears her favorite green jacket—one that Sam bought for her last year. Her hair brushes past her shoulders in a haphazard mix of blonde curls and waves. But her smile. That smile’s even more golden.
“Who put this here?” Dean asks. When he doesn’t get an answer, he glances back and finds his brother’s gaze first. He just smiles, but doesn’t look like the culprit. Dean moves on to Cas, who subtly shakes his head.
Jack, on the other hand, looks both guilty and hopeful, before his eyes fall to the folded hands in his lap.
Instinctively, Dean wants to tighten up. But when he looks back at his mom’s smile, a little more of the edge in his heart crumbles.
“She looks good there,” he says. He turns back to Jack and gives him a nod…and a reserved smile. The nephilim hesitates to return it, but when he does, it’s a genuine one.
Dean moves on to the kitchen, where he pretends not to catch the way you’d been surreptitiously watching the scene from the kitchen. You duck your head and continue cutting some ham for the two plates you’ve set out on the counter.
Dean’s face lights up when he finds the pies: pecan and apple.
“Okay, you want mashed potatoes or macaroni with the ham?” you ask him. Dean raises a brow at you. You smile in amusement.
“What am I thinking? Both, obviously,” you say.
“Obviously,” Dean quips with a nod.
“Ah, well that’s interesting,” says Castiel. It stops both hunters in the kitchen with curious looks.
“It seems you’re caught again,” the angel tells you, nodding up to the mistletoe poised above you and Dean.
You roll your eyes, while Dean just smirks. You glance up at him with a question in your eyes.
Should we tell them? you ask.
Dean’s smile grows. Hell, yeah.
He leans in to cup your cheek, and he kisses you soundly—something that shocks both angels…but not Sam. You close your eyes with a sound of contentment. You grab onto Dean’s shirt, holding him close.
“She didn’t kiss Sam that way,” Jack comments.
Castiel recovers first, realizing what’s happened by Sam’s knowing look.
“No,” Cas says in amusement. “I don’t believe she did.”
While Sam turns up the volume on the TV, giving you and Dean some privacy, Dean finally parts from you and tugs a loose strand of your hair behind your ear.
“You know, I promised you a car by Christmas,” he says with a grin. “Technically speaking, I did come through on that deal.”
You raise a brow, though a smile tugs at your lips. “Hmm. I suppose you did.”
“And if I remember right, I get a…what was it?” He pretends to recall with a raised finger. “Oh, that’s right. A consequence-free request.”
“Here we go.” You roll your eyes, but amusement and warmth still gleam them. “All right, Dean Winchester. What can I do for you?”
He hums and seems to consider it. He makes a show of it, really, tilting his head, looking down at you with a deepening smirk. You fight not to blush under his scrutiny, even as your smile grows. Your hands rest against his chest, while his slide around your waist and pull you in closer.
“How about you don’t go running off so soon,” he says, thumbing at your cheek. “Stay through New Year’s, at least.”
You’d be lying if you said you aren’t shocked. You raise a brow.
“That’s your request?”
Dean shrugs, but his quirking smile can’t hide the fondness in his eyes. It warms you in a way you also don’t expect.
Taking your chin with gentle fingers, he presses a lingering kiss to your lips. Your eyes close as you once again take in this heady feeling. Being with him still doesn’t quite feel real, but you’re holding on for as long as you can.
When he eventually pulls away, he smiles at your slightly hazy face.
“I already got what I wanted,” Dean says. “Now we just…keep this good thing going.”
You really do blush this time.
“Got what you wanted, huh?” you tease. He gives you a wry look.
“Not what I meant.” Then he smirks, squeezing your hips. “But actually yeah, that too.”
You laugh and swat at his shoulder.
“Well, since I’m honor bound. I suppose I can stay a few more days,” you reply. “And I mean, your birthday’s not long after that.”
Dean hums in agreement. “We talkin’ early birthday present?”
You flash him a cheeky smile and slowly slide your hands down his arms.
“Then Valentine’s Day’s is just around the corner,” you add. Dean nods sagely, trying to temper his smile.
“Might as well stay through February,” he says.
You grin. “Ooh! St. Patrick’s Day!”
Dean laughs genuinely then, throwing his head back. You hold onto the edges of his button-down shirt and tug him back to you.
“What I mean to say is, I could consider staying longer,” you say. However long you want me, your tone suggests. “…I’ll just need to tie up a few things.”
You know your father will be just fine if you decide to move to Lebanon someday soon. He now has his new wife to keep him company, and there isn’t much else tying you to your hometown besides nostalgia, and bittersweet memories of your mom.
“Is that a serious offer?” Dean asks.
You grin up at him playfully. “If you want it to be.”
He smiles and kisses you again. The way he holds you, looks at you, it’s tender enough to make your throat tighten with emotion.
“I do,” Dean says. He stares down into your eyes. “It’s you, sweetheart. For me too. Just you.”
Your smile is tremulous, but oh, so bright.
“Good.”

Secrets (D.W. x Reader)
Dean Winchester x Female! Reader Request: Could I make a supernatural request? Reader has written in her diary about her crush on dean and doesn't know he feels the same way. Jack doesn't know what a diary is and finds it sitting with a bunch of books or something and reads it. Since he doesn't know what the book is he reads a few passages out loud to the brothers. The reader probably gets pissed off and Dean says how he feels.
Warnings: Angst, Reader is mean to jack a little. Overall pretty fluffy. Rating: Anyone can read this!
A/N: I am accepting a supernatural tag list, if you like to join please leave a comment or send an ask! I also am still accepting Requests!

It has now been days since you have had a case. This means you got a very long break that you deserved. The bunker was nice and quiet, for the first time in a very long time.
You were sitting at the table with Sam, Jack, and Dean. Writing in your diary. Yes, you understood that having a diary was kinda...childish. But, did you care? No. It helped you cope with everything that has been thrown at you over the years of hunting. It also helped you talk about the feelings you've had for a certain green-eyed hunter.
You have known Dean for about two years now and met through Jody Mills. During these two years, you both have been through quite a bit throughout the time you have known each other. Such as Dean with the Mark of Cain, demon Dean, Amara, British Men of Letters (They were so annoying).
Now we are now raising Jack a Nephilim, son of Lucifer. He looked like he was sixteen, but was technically only two months old. Very bizarre I know. It was challenging, to say the least. Teaching him everything he needs to know at a quick pace wasn't ideal. But, Jack was a kid. A very powerful kid, but a kid.
Jack was sitting across from you trying to help Sam do research about a ghoul, Sam wanted to take him on a case soon so he could learn the ways to hunt. Dean was beside you eating the burger he made earlier and reading an article on the news website, you decided to take your time and write in your diary.
There wasn't a day that you didn't go out to write in your diary. You wrote in it so much that even Sam and Dean picked up on your routine. You close your diary and lay it on the table, stand up from the table, and walk to the kitchen for a drink. When you walk to the kitchen you see the huge mess that Dean has made in there. For one burger, that man was messier than a two year old.
You could see the sliced-up tomato guts on the cutting board, lettuce leaves, and onion all around the table and on the floor.
"Dammit, Dean." You laugh seeing his mess before you grabbed the broom and cleaned the floor. Wiping all the tomato, lettuce, and onion remains off the floor and into the garbage can.
After you cleaned that mess up, you walked over to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle. Afterward, you walked down the hallway to hear Jack speaking, "I have no idea why I have been feeling like this lately. My feelings for him have become stronger and stronger that I can't even stand going on cases anymore to see him get hurt."
What is Jack even talking about? Does he have feelings for someone? But, he doesn't even know or understand how relationships work. He has only been on this earth for two months.
You walked faster down the hall to see Jack sitting beside Sam with your diary, but before you can say a word he read more.
"I really like Dean. There I said it. I like Dean Winchester. I fear losing him to a hunt and can't bear with losing him to a monster. I liked him for a few years now, but I have been too afraid to say anything. I'm sure by how Dean would rather be with other women that he doesn't feel the same about me. Plus, I wouldn't want to lose our friendship over my childish crush."
Before Sam had a say in anything, you were already crossing the room to Jack. Snatching your journal away. Your open water bottle was on the floor, spilled.
"Do you know that it isn't nice to read someone's diary?!" You yell at Jack. Jack holds his hands up, "Y/n, I didn't know. It was on the table with the other books. I thought it was re-"
You cut Jack's sentence off, "Research?? Really? What's your excuse? You see me write in it EVERY DAY Jack! How could you not pick up that it's something personal! Oh, wait. You're a little baby in the body of a sixteen-year-old!" You slam your book down in front of him, "Go ahead and read the rest. You read enough already!"
Jack had his head down hearing you yell at him while Sam and Dean looked at you and him. You know Jack didn't know what it was. But, you felt betrayed and hurt by the fact that now my secret crush was out. Dean knew. You could feel all the eyes on you and your own eyes burned. Tears were gonna start falling soon. You left the room and went down the hallway to your room and slammed your door shut.
You lay down on your bed and sighed. Hiding your face with your hands and sobbing. You could never look at Dean or Sam again. You got up and started packing your clothes. Everything was over. The friendships you built. Gone. The years of working with them—him was over after everything you've been through.
A knock on the door broke you out of your thought. You wiped the tears from your face and opened the door to see Dean leaning on the doorway in his red henley and blue jeans.
"Hey." He spoke looking at you, "Can I come in?"
You open the door wide enough to allow Dean in, he walks in and rubs his head with his hand while you closed the door.
"What do you want D?"
Dean took a breath before he spoke, "Look. You were really hard on Jack. He didn't know. He is just a kid."
You nod your head at Dean, understanding what he said. "Yeah. I know. I'm gonna to apologize to him later. I am just mad." You look at your feet not looking at his face.
Dean looked at your partially packed suitcase and sighed, "I understand why you are mad. But, I came to talk to you because I need-Dammit I ain't good at this." He took a breath before he spoke again, "Ilikeyoutoo."
He said that sentence so fast you couldn't quite make out what he said. You look at him confused and step closer to him, "What?"
Dean sighs and takes a step forward, "Screw it." He takes your face in his hand and kisses you.
His lips were soft but you could feel the passion behind them, You stood there for a moment letting Dean kiss you before you returned the kiss giving the same passion he was giving you.
It felt like pure bliss while the kiss lasted. You never wanted it to stop.
Dean pulled away, his hands still on your face holding it gently. He looked you in the eyes. His green ones are full of emotion and devotion for you.
"Do you get what I am saying now? I don't want you to go." Dean said, his eyes never leaving yours. You smile up at Dean.
"I never will go."
