Ugh I can’t stand how chiefs fans are making fun of jamarr and calling him a diva (among other names) when Travis literally screamed in his coach’s face during the Super Bowl and has been ejected from a game before for disrespecting the ref.
tbh i don't mind chiefs fans shit talking ja'marr, they have every reason to hate him. he's embarrassed their team plenty and has done more than his share of shit talking. let them have their fun (although i agree it's def hypocritical after that travis moment that i guess no one ever wants to talk about!)
what upsets me SO much though is seeing our own fans turn on him. calling him selfish for the hold-in, blaming him for the contract debacle, saying he's overrated, saying we should trade him and keep tee (when they were all saying the exact opposite when tee requested a trade TWICE a few months ago 🙄). and i do understand that ja'marr was in the wrong for this penalty, but getting ridiculous penalties against the chiefs is kind of just what he does! like it cannot be emphasized enough how much that man hates the chiefs lmao.
ja'marr has been STRUGGLING these past few months and it's obvious how much of a toll this has taken on him. i'm not at all surprised things boiled over to a tipping point when he thought he was tackled in a particularly dangerous way (whether he was right or wrong, he DID believe it). right now he's taking a huge risk being out on the field at all without any real guarantees for the future. that shit is scary, it's scary betting on yourself even when you do believe in yourself 100%. people play better when they feel secure, when they feel valued, and the front office did everything they could this offseason to make him feel the opposite.
i'm really hoping he can have a big game this monday. supposedly the commanders defense is Not Good, so that should help us! (i just hope it isn't a trap game for us. but the fact that we're 0-2 i think will make the guys take it seriously.) winning helps cure all ails for competitors like ja'marr, and i believe we've got a lot of that ahead of us!
#also god i was thinking the other day#ja'marr is YOUNG!#he's not a child but like he got thrust into stardom at 18 when he was just becoming a man#and (for the most part) he has handled all that insanity well!#he's always been known as a hard worker and good team player#and now suddenly we're all turning on him because y'all are frustrated with another 0-2 start??#he is NOT the problem. find a new scapegoat!#also also i do think joe may be feeling some guilt/just a general feeling of unease after the Shove Heard Around The World#like joe wasn't at fault either. he was doing the right thing to try to break it up#but you know ja'marr felt that shove like a fucking slap in the face at that moment#it's supposed to be them against the world. ja'marr defends joe against any and everything#(including perfectly logical things like pat being objectively better lol)#joe shoving him back and taking the ref's side must have hurt. regardless of if it was right or wrong.#but of course joe would see it as having ja'marr's back because he was trying to stop further punishment#messy messy messy!#no one is in the wrong! and frankly i love the chance of Character Analysis this gave us.#but let's get the good vibes back soon please!

I’m gonna need to see Dad Joe with two little ones that he has to take to training camp because Mom has something come up.
Daddy Daughter Day|| Joe Burrow x reader
•pairing: Joe Burrow x reader
•summary: Joe has to take his young daughters to training camp with him for the day after you have something come up
•warnings: none, all fluff :)
"Come on Josie girl." Joe spoke sweetly to his three year old daughter as he brought her out to the practice field with him. His other daughter, 6 month old Hazel, was being held in his arms as the three of them walked out to the practice field.
It never crossed Joe's mind that he'd have both of his daughters at camp with him today, but here he was. You had something come up today where you couldn't bring the girls with you. Your sister is expecting her first baby. She has an OB appointment today but her car is in the shop, and her husband is out of town, so you offered to take her to her appointment. Which means, Joe is stuck bringing the girls with him to training camp today.
The coaches didn't really get a choice if he brought his kids with him or not (and neither did Joe, really). But none of them had a problem with the Burrow girls attending practice with Joe for a day. Joe made the decision to not participate today so that he could focus on his daughters. The three of them walked over to the sidelines, Josie making sure to say hello to everyone that she saw as Hazel flashed gummy smiles at all of the players. Joe grinned at his daughters as they interacted with his teammates. Every one seemed to be in a great mood today, the Burrow girls being in attendance definitely helped with boosting their moods.
As they reached the sidelines, Joe laid the pink blanket on the ground that you had given him to take with him. Once the blanket was spread out as far as it would go, Joe sat down on the ground with Josie and Hazel. Josie watched the field in awe as her Uncle Tee and Uncle Ja'Marr were running drills. Joe gently held onto the sides of Hazels tummy as he stood her up on his thighs, letting the infant bounce around on her toes a bit. The three of them watched the players practice for about a half hour before Josie wanted a snack.
"Daddy," the little girl said, pushing out her bottom lip as she reached out to rub Joe's scarred knee, "My tummy's hungry."
"Your tummy's hungry? That's not good, do you want a snack?" Joe asked in a tone he only used around kids. The little girl nodded. He reached for the diaper bag that was full of snacks, bottles, diapers, and wipes. He put the bag down in front of Josie and opened it, pulling out the variety of snacks you packed for the girls and Joe.
"It looks like we've got goldfish, animal crackers, some puffs, protein bars, but those are for daddy." Joe said, taking a cookies and cream protein bar out of the bag and putting it to the side. "What sounds good sweetie?"
"Mmm," Josie said, bringing her finger up to her mouth, thinking about what snack she wanted. "Goldfish."
"Good choice." Joe said, grabbing a pack of goldfish from the bag and opening it before handing it to his daughter. Josie thanked her dad in a sweet tone before she started eating her snack. As Josie munched away at her goldfish, Hazel started to grow restless in Joe's hands. Her little feet kicked wildly as she started to cry. Joe frowned and took Hazel off of his thighs, situating her so that he was now cradling her in the crook of his arm.
"Is your tummy hungry too, Hazel, huh?" he cooed sweetly at the baby as he pulled out a bottle of milk from the diaper bag. He brought the nipple of the bottle to his daughters lips, making her cries stop instantly as he happily drank her milk. "There," Joe sighed, smiling down at the infant in his arms, "All better."
As his daughters ate, Joe watched his teammates practice. Part of him wished he could be out on the field with them right now, but he was enjoying every second of being on the sidelines with his daughters instead.
Soon enough, the day was over. The rest of practice went by quicker than Joe thought it would. As players started to exit the field, Ja'Marr, Tee, and Sam all came over to the sidelines to see the Burrow girls before they left the practice field.
"Uncle 'Marr!" Josie squealed as she saw Ja'Marr walking up to them. The three year old took off running. Once she was close enough, she jumped into Ja'Marr's arms, giggling happily as he held onto her.
"You're gettin' so big Josie girl," Ja'Marr said looking at his "niece". He smiled as he looked at the baby girl in Joe's arms, "So is your sissy."
"She's growing like a weed." Joe said with a smile as he kissed Hazels chubby cheek, making the infant flash her gummy smile at her uncles. The guys broke out into a chorus of "awe's" at the babys smile. Sam reached out for Hazel, which Joe happily handed her over to his best friend. The baby girl looked so small in Sam's arms, it was actually quite sweet.
Joe, Sam, Ja'Marr, and Tee all stayed after practice for a bit. All of them taking turns driving Josie around on the cart that was next to them on the sidelines. Josie giggled happily beside in Tee's lap as Joe drove around the field, the wide grin never leaving his face as he listened to the sound of his daughters laughter.
Despite today being unplanned, Joe had the best time with his daughters. The only thing that could possibly make it any better would be having you there, that way Joe could have all of his girls at practice with him.
hi loves!!
here’s another blurb. i’ve got three or four more written ones to post still, but i’m still writing more! lots of blurbs tonight lol
it’s a little on the short side, but i thought this idea was cute. plus, i love writing joe with daughters. joe would be the best girl dad!🥹🩷
i’ve got some more cute ones coming soon, and an angsty one…but i promise it’ll end fluffy ;)

Joey B Imagines: Don’t Be Embarrassed
————————————————————————
summary: after a sex marathon with your husband joe the previous night, you head downstairs for breakfast and have a seriously awkward interaction with his parents.
(this is a tiny part 2 to - part one)
warnings: talks about sex, no actual smut
pairing: joe burrow x reader
————————————————————————
(y/n's pov)
when my alarm went off at 8, i immediately hit snooze.
i wanted to go back to sleep but remembered the plane that joe and i were going to have to catch in just a couple hours, so i slipped out of bed.
joe was still dead asleep, looking incredibly peaceful.. so i left him alone.
the first thing i did was get dressed in my traveling outfit, and putting my hair in a messy bun before i made my way downstairs.
"mommy!!" - savanna jumped off the couch and came flying towards you
"good morning sweetie, how'd you sleep?" - you picked her up and put her on your hip
"good, i had good dream." - savanna
"what was your dream about?" - you
"dada bought me puppy!" - savanna
"he did?? what did you name your puppy?" - you
"uh, i dont remember.." - savanna
"oh you don't remember.. okay. what would you name your puppy if you got one?" - you
"marr!" - savanna
"oh my gosh, you'd name it after ja'marr??" - you
"yup. put me down? i want to play with my barbies!" - savanna
"yes, of course." - you sat her down
i watched sam run up the stairs to her room before i walked into the kitchen. robin was cooking and jimmy was drinking coffee while sitting at the island.
when i walked over to the fridge to grab a water i noticed both of them giving me weird looks.
"what?" - you laughed nervously
"did you sleep good last night?" - robin smiled
"yeah actually, i didn't even hear you guys come in. i was dead asleep." - you
liar.
"mhm." - robin looked at jimmy for a second then turned back to you
this interaction was really weird so i was more than thankful when i saw joe walking downstairs and into the kitchen.
"morning guys" - joe smiled
"morning, joey!" - robin gave joe the same weird look
"what's that look?" - joe laughed
"nothing." - robin grinned
joe looked at me confused but i returned the look of pure confusion.
"did you sleep good?" - joe asked, trying to start conversation and end the silence
"mhm." - you pulled him into a hug
joe kissed my head, as i laid against his chest. robin and jimmy were still looking at us with weird smiles on their faces so we quickly pulled away from each other.
"what time did you two end up going to bed last night?" - jimmy
"uh, i don't really know. i was asleep before you guys got here. do you know?" - joe
"uh, nope." - you
"that's kinda weird because we heard quite the commotion last night" - robin
both joe and i tensed up, not knowing what to do.
"you guys know the guest room is right under the master bedroom, right?" - jimmy
"oh god." - joe sighed
"so you guys.." - you
"heard y'all? yup. coulda gone my whole life without hearing that." - jimmy
"oh my god." - you covered your face with your hands
"it's fine though, don't be embarrassed. it's not like we didn't know you guys engage in that.. activity. i mean you guys have a kid so we kinda knew.." - robin
"yeah you guys are married adults, don't be embarrassed. but, joe honey you sound like a cat dying.” - jimmy
"i don't think i sound that bad..." - joe mumbled
"he’s overreacting, joe. after i heard it though, and well realized what i was hearing i put my noice cancelling headphones on.” - robin
"all i had were pillows to put over my ears, thank god i was super tired and fell asleep quickly. i’d probably end up sleeping in the car.” - jimmy
"but really, don't be embarrassed. you guys are young and having fun." - robin
"okay, sorry about that though." - you
"it's fine." - robin smiled
"yeah guys, it's all good, i'm only slightly traumatized." - jimmy
"jim." - robin rolled her eyes
"as much as i'm loving this conversation about our sex life.. i'm gonna grab some toast and finish packing." - joe
"i'll be up there in a second!" - you told joe as he grabbed a plate of toast and started walking back upstairs
thank god that joe’s parents love me, plus i’ve already got the ring on my finger so there’s no getting rid of me.

What are your favorite NFL ships?
Hey! Thank you for the ask
I'm more into players on their own rather than ships rn because so many of my favourite players don't have proper ships 🤣 but here are some that I like;
Trevon Diggs X Micah Parsons
It's not like a big ship at all (it has like one fanfic) but I just love their dynamic
Ja'marr Chase X Justin Jefferson
I just love the both of them and I feel like this is a part of the friendship trio that they have with Joe that isn't explored as much as I think it should be
Odell Beckham X Eli Manning
The first NFL ship I ever read fanfic for and I was instantly obsessed with them. I know it's been years but wow, those two were in love
Randy Moss X Tom Brady
This is a very obscure and like old ship and there's like maybe three fics about them but there's something there that I love digging into. I'm actually trying to write a fic about them!
Stefon Diggs X Josh Allen?
But this is mostly because it's Stef's only ship. It has some good fics but also some that infuriate me. I have a weird relationship with it but I still love some of it 🤣
Justin Jefferson X Kevin O'Connell
JJ loves that man and it's so easy to see. The fics are so sweet and I just love the ship and everything that comes with it
Honourable mentions
Davante Adam X Aaron Rodgers
This is more of like a thought project though
CJ Stroud X Bryce Young
Very cute
Plus one that I'm surprised no one cares about,
CeeDee Lamb X Dak Prescott! They're special to me idk

Ohio Is For Lovers | J.B
CHAPTER 2
Joe Burrow x Reader Series.
Warnings: 18+ only. MDNI. Angst. Explicit Language, Alcohol.
Word Count: 2,219
Read Chapter One Here
A few weeks later:
"Please please pleeaase Y/N! It'll be fun. We'll have unlimited food and drinks!" Mariana begs you for the 50th time. "Mariana, you know how I feel about this after what happened. Some fans will probably get stupid and I don't feel like listening to people call me names, look at me weird or throw some shit at me. I see how football fans can get and I'm good on that." You shake your head as you wash the dirty dish and lay it on the rack to dry. "No! You can't think like that! Don't let these assholes get to you! Ja'Marr is expecting both of us to be there and support the team. C'mon Y/N! Please...we'll have fun!" Mariana pleads again in front of you giving you puppy dog eyes.
Mariana came over before a game today to ask again about going to a Bengals game tonight. You had already told her no multiple times but she kept on insisting because Peyton was out of town for work and Sasha was with her family celebrating her moms birthday, so that left you. So she says, as if she hasn't gone to games with other people or even alone.
"Fine, but this is the only game I'm attending, you can tell Ja'Marr that too." You sigh going to your room to change. "Yes!! Thank you! Thank you!" She squeals as she follows you to your closet. You pick out an oversized black hoodie and black leggings. "You don't have anything with the Bengals on it?" Mariana. "Why would I? I don't even like football." You say starting to change clothes not caring that she was there, this wouldn't be the first time you'd change in front of your friends. "We'll get you something at the game." She nods. "I'll be fine in this." You shake your head knowing you're not going to buy merch of a team a person you really dislike plays on. You put on your white and black Nikes after putting on some socks and throw on an orange beanie. "This good enough?" You ask. "Better than nothing!" Mariana nods. You already had make up on from earlier today so you just retouched it a bit. You grabbed your phone, wallet and keys and made your way out of the apartment with Mariana. "I'm assuming I'm driving?" She asks as you two head down in the elevator. "Duh..." You chuckle. After getting into her car you two drive to the stadium. It was already a mess going into the parking lot with all these screaming drunk fans that tailgated. You were completely dreading being here for who knows how fucking long, you'd pray that crazy mid-west weather would kick in and they cancelled the stupid game but it was a perfectly sunny evening with no clouds in sight. Just you're fucking luck, you thought to yourself.
You two park in valet and security notices Mariana and they kindly lead you two to your seats. People of course were starting to recognize you two more, you would hear whispers from people who looked at you two. "Already hating this." You mutter to Mariana. "It'll be fine! Just keep your head up and keep walking" She reassures you. You two get escorted to your seats after stopping to get some beer and snacks. "See, not so bad." Mariana says. "Mhm." You hum. This was only the start of the night, you can't even imagine what could go wrong. The game finally begins and you smile watching your best friend cheer her boyfriend on. She seemed really happy and you really loved that for her since her last relationship wasn't all that great. She deserved to be happy with her partner.
During the game you got a couple looks and glares from people, mostly young teen girls who were all wearing Joe's stupid jersey. You didn't expect any less but as the game was nearing the end, your phone gets bombarded with notifications from your other friends and siblings. You open the stuff they sent you and they were all links about how you were spotted at the game with Mariana and a spreading rumor around that you were actually here to see and support Joe play, which could only mean to these delusional lying people that you and Joe were most likely an item. You roll your eyes at your phone and let out a big sigh of frustration.
You show Mariana and her Jaw drops. "And you thought I was being dramatic with coming here." You shake your head. "I didn't think that would happen! I'm so sorry Y/N...I'm sure we can clear this up somehow! I'll post that picture of us we took earlier on instagram and caption it in a way that will let everyone know we're both here for Ja'Marr!" She says and you just sit there upset at what was happening all over again. You knew you shouldn't have risked coming here.
When the game finally ends security comes to you and Mariana again. "Which one of you is Y/N Y/L/N?" One of them asks. "Me? What's going on?" You ask confused. People around you were looking at what was happening but thankfully the other security guards told them to keep it moving since they were holding up the line to get out of the section we were in. "Can you follow us?" The man asks. "Not until you tell me what's going on." You shake your head. "Joe Burrow wants a word with you him and Ja'Marr Chase, asked me to escort you two back to them." The large man says lowly near your ear. "Absolutely not." You shake your head. "Y/N...Maybe he can help with all these rumors and speculation. Finally put an end to all this..." Mariana says looking at you with pleading eyes, you knew she felt like crap for begging you come here. You look back at the security guard taking a deep breath and nod. They escort you to these golf carts and you and Mariana hop on. People looked at you both and took more pictures and video's which you despised. They take you where the locker rooms were and lead you to this lounge/ recreational type of area.
"The guys will be out any moment, feel free to help yourself to any drinks or snacks." One of them say. You and Mariana thank them and they leave you two alone. "Have you been here before?" You ask Mariana. "Twice, usually there's more girlfriends and wives in here though, kind of weird it's empty." Mariana says looking around, we were the only two in the room. You sit down and lean back in the seat just thinking about how this was happening. "You okay?" Mariana asks. "Nope." You shake your head. "What's running through your head?" She asks sitting on the arm of the chair next to you. "How I'm probably going to have to move out of Ohio and how I'm probably going to lose my job." You sigh. "Why would any of those happen?" She asks. "Mariana, I love you but you really don't get it do you?" You ask and she shakes her head no. You take a deep breath and let her in the situation.
"My job already threatened termination due to the whole cheating scandal video and I told them that it was just a big misunderstanding which it was but now that I'm here and new rumors are starting...it's going to look like confirmation that I actually did home-wreck and how I am now dating Joe." You sigh. "That's dumb! This is your personal life, even if any of this was true they have no right!" She scoffs. "Yeah but I represent the company and they don't want to be affiliated with someone like that, I'm so done there, I knew I should of stayed home." You rub your temples trying to think about how one stupid drunken night lead to all this. "I can talk to Ja'Marr maybe he can help with finding some good lawyers for you if that happens." Mariana says. "Lawyers for what? What did you two do?" You hear a voice say and you two turn your head to see Ja'Marr.
Mariana explains the situation to him and he shakes his head. "This is fucked up, I love Joe...he's my brother and all but he really threw you under the bus here." Ja'Marr says. "Yeah, well he doesn't think so." You shake your head. Speaking of the fucking devil, Joe walks into the room in some weird colorful sweats that made him look like rejected skittle. "Hey guys." He says mostly to Ja'Marr and Mariana. "Um...we'll leave you two alone. Here are my keys, Ja'Marr can take me home. Take my car, I'll pick it up tomorrow morning" Mariana says handing you the car keys. You say goodbye to Mariana and Ja'Marr and they walk out of the room. Mariana giving you one last supportive look before leaving.
"What is it that you want?" You ask Joe once they leave the room. "Why did you come here?" He asks right off the bat. "What?" You ask confused at that weird question. "Why did you come here? Was it to get back at me or something?" He asks. "What the hell are you talking about? I came here because Mariana begged me for days to attend this stupid game." You roll your eyes. "You just caused a whole lot of shit right now Y/N." Joe says shaking his head visibly upset. "ME!? Oh I'm sorry... was I the one that used you to get back at some girlfriend like we're 17 years old? Was I the one that let this whole shit fall on you and made you look like the bad guy when in reality it you had no idea what the hell was going on and that you even had a girlfriend let alone a girlfriend that was at the same fucking party as us!? How is this MY wrong doing. Tell me...Quickly." You cross your arms.
"You knew this was still blowing over, why the hell would you come to one of my games? It's to coincidental, I know you did this to rile shit back up! Stop acting so innocent." He spat back. "Your game? Since when were you the only player on the field. Your ego is out of this fucking world, especially since you think I'd be here to sabotage you in some way like you'd matter that much to me to do so. Get a fucking grip." You scoff.
"You can't come back here, I mean it. My publicist is on my ass right now about this and I have enough shit to worry about than worrying about you and your bullshit that you're causing me." Joe says angrily and you laugh. "What was it that you said to me last time when I told you my issue with this? Oh! that's right...I can't control what others say and it's not that serious. Stop being ridiculous, Joe." You smirk at him before you walk out of the room leaving Joe fuming just like you were at that party. Pay back is a fucking bitch.
************************
Later that night as you were getting out of the shower, Mariana calls you up. "Hey!" You answer after putting her on speaker. "Girl... what the hell happened?" Mariana asks. "About what?" You ask drying your body with the towel. "Joe just called Ja'Marr fuming about you, that he needed to stop giving you tickets to the games or whatever the hell it was that he was saying." Mariana said which made you laugh. "What a fucking idiot, as if anyone could control me going to one of their games, even if I got tickets through you guys or not, I can still buy my own." You shake your head as you put on your Pajamas.
"I just don't get how he doesn't see that he's the one in the wrong? Even Ja'Marr told him that he was being immature & out of pocket. And let me say he didn't like that one bit! Joe expects him to be on his side." Mariana sighs. "Of course he didn't like it, the guy is a narcissistic asshole." You scoff. "Well, anyway...I'll let you get to bed and stop bothering you with this. I just wanted to see if you were alright. I'll be over early tomorrow to get my car, hope that's okay?" She asks. "Yeah, I'll be up, just text me when you're on your way. See you then." You tell her grabbing your toothbrush. "See you." She says before hanging up. You couldn't help but to laugh to yourself about how much of an immature asshole Joe was. He could of cleared things up and controlled the dumpster fire he created but instead he wanted to play victim, which resulted in it now biting his ass. It was about time he got some of his own medicine.
After you brushed your teeth and moisturized, you plugged your phone up to the charger on your nightstand and got into bed. "What a fucking day." You say to yourself as you turn off your bedside light and got into bed, letting today's drama fade away from your dreams.

Woah There Lil' Doggie
Cowboy Joe Burrow x Fem!Reader. Again no smut, just soft, lovey Joe. This is sort of a Part 2 to Round-Up. TW: Light Swearing
Raising champion barrel horses is not something you and Joe ever thought you'd be doing. But when your mare, Euro, suddenly had a foal, you were determined to train that thing to be like Comanche.
Fast forward 3 years and you managed to work with the colt, who you named Captain America, to get a saddle on and take the bit without biting. He wasn't mean, but since he was so young, he had that playful side to him, which got in the way of work.
When you put your left foot in the stirrup to get on, Captain wanted to start walking, but you swung your leg over the other side and slid your foot into the other stirrup just in time.
Joe was watching from afar, making sure to keep an eye on your knee and your face for any signs of discomfort. You had a bad injury 5 years ago while helping him build stalls in the barn. You missed the ladder to climb down from the loft and hit your left knee pretty hard. Ever since your knee hasn't been right and tends to slip out of place. Luckily, it hasn't happened in a while, but he's still worried.
You made Captain lope in the left lead, which was not your favorite thing to do, nor his, but it was something that came with training.
After going around the area 4 times, Captain got tired of this and took a sharp turn to the right and kicked the gate, causing you to be startled and thrown into the side of the arena, and ultimately, off Captain.
When you fell, your left knee popped out of place and you went to stand on it, but couldn't. Joe ran over, which didn't take long, considering his long ass legs and height. Ja'Marr was over too and grabbed Captain before he could trample you.
"Baby are you okay? What happened?"
"Yeah I'm fine. I guess Captain got tired of that lead and decided to do something about it." You chuckled, trying to clear the air. You pulled up your shirt and seen a big bruise beginning to form.
"You don't act okay, can you stand?"
You got up to stand, but it was still difficult. Instead, you pushed on your knee and it popped back into place.
"Yeah, I'm good now." And you walked over to Ja'Marr and retrieved Captain.
"Thanks Jay." You said, giving him a friendly smile.
"No problem Y/N". He said before going to follow Joe and have a seat on the porch of your house.
You got back on and loped lead after lead and managed a collected trot out of Captain too. It was getting late, Ja'Marr left an hour ago, but Joe was still sitting on the porch swing, drinking a beer and watching you.
You hopped off Captain and led him to the barn. You were still shook up and pissed off about what happened earlier. Your anxiety was through the roof, but you tried not to show it around Captain or Joe, in fear Captain can sense it and act up.
Joe walks into the barn and lifts the saddle up on the rack, like he has to do everytime, which doesn't bother him a bit. He turns to look at you refilling Captain's food and water will fidgeting with something in his pocket.
He had called Ja'Marr to tell him to come back over and he was silently recording in the back.
You look up at Joe with a smile on your face and walked to him to place a kiss to his lips.
"You did so good today sweets." He said hugging you.
"Thanks babe, he's a cranky son of a gun, but I can make him listen". You said looking up at him.
He backed up and said "I shouldn't be the only Burrow known for their toughness."
You were puzzled but realized what he was doing when he fished in his pocket for something and got down on one knee.
"Y/N, these last 7 years of us have been the best. My family and friends love you so much. I love you even more. I can't imagine going through life without you. So, will you marry me?
You started to cry and hugged him.
"Oh my God yes Joe!" You said excitedly.
He slid the ring on your finger, a beautiful black diamond, his favorite gemstone, nestled into a band of blue topaz, your favorite gemstone.
You looked at it and hugged Joe one more time before giving him another long kiss.
Ja'Marr couldn't help but shed a few tears as well, sniffling in the process, which caused you to look behind Joe.
"Damn you Ja'Marr!" Joe yelled, "You were supposed to be secretive!"
Joe let go of you and tore after Ja'Marr, he heard you laughing in the background, watching 2 of your favorite guys chase each other like kids.
Joe gave up on trying to catch him and ran to you instead. His amount of speed scared you a little and you tried to run yourself, but underestimated how close he actually was.
He grabbed you and picked you up bridal style.
"Very fitting Burrow." You said under the circumstances you were in.
"Can't wait to do this on our wedding day." He said carrying you in the house, and telling Ja'Marr to go home.
Sooooo, tell me how you like it, and if there's anything I can improve on! I love all feedback. Thank you again to @americaarse for this lovely request, and please don't hesitate to request absolutely anything regarding Joe or Travis Kelce.

Las Vegas Raiders
Raiders fire Josh McDaniels after starting 2-10 and losing to the Chiefs Week 12 in Las Vegas, and promote defensive coordinator Patrick Graham to be their interim head coach.
Patrick Graham will finish the season with a record of 2-3, leaving the Raiders with a final record of 4-13.
The Raiders will fire general Manager Dave Ziegler, interim coach Patrick Graham, and a majority of the rest of McDaniels' staff after the regular season is completed.
Tennessee Titans
Starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill gets injured early in the season, and the Titans allow scond-year QB Malik Willis and rookie Will Levis to struggle for the starting spot before Levis wins it outright after during Tennessee's bye week in Week 7.
Levis then manages to lead the Titans to an 8-3 record from the bye week on, putting up Rookie of the Year-worthy numbers... if he had started the full season.
The Titans still manage to fall in the Wildcard Round to a tough Browns team, but this year still cements Levis as the starting quarterback going into 2024, with Tannehill likely to be moved by the front office in the offseason.
Washington Commanders
Ron Rivera is fired after a Week 16 loss to the Jets, finishing his season in Washington with a record of 4-11. Assistant head coach and Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is promoted to be the interim head coach.
Bieniemy then coaches the Commanders to a 2-0 record in the final games, and after the season, his interim tag is dropped in order to make Eric Bieniemy the full-time head coach of the Washington Commanders in 2024.
Aside
Originally, I had afew wonkier predictions, namely the Cardinals and Colts trading their respective picks to quarterback-needy teams so those unnamed teams could select one of USC QB Caleb Williams or UNC QB Drake Maye.
My only reservation was that by the time October comes around, we're gonna have seen a much better sample size of football in 2023, so I'm certain I'll have opinions on it. I'd just like to save some for the wilder stuff for when there's a clearer picture to expand upon.
Ideally, I'd like to do one of these at the end of every month of the season, so we'll see how that goes.
End of the way, I wanted to put something out to reign in the new year, and I hope you're along for the ride.
Now who's ready for some mothafuckin football?

Las Vegas Raiders Week 9 Outlook Vs Ja'Marr Chase And The Cincinnati Bengals
Tomorrow, the Las Vegas Raiders will be in Cincinnati as they face one of the best duos in football—Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, the pair of young ocelots from Louisiana State University. This is the first time the Raiders and Bengals will face off since Sin City’s playoff run in 2021. While the Bengals are plenty talented, the team hasn’t scored an abundance of points as of late. Cincinnati is…

Divisional Weekend
(10) Straight Edge Society @ Rice-A-Roni (1)
Match-Up Overview The battle to get to the Championship Game is underway, and the number one seed, Rice-A-Roni, will have the opportunity to get there in their first postseason game in franchise history. Rice-A-Roni is two games away from the Super Bowl, and although it has been a very successful inaugural season, they are still looking for more. While they have had success this season, the postseason is where we see teams take the next steps toward glory and etching their names in the history books. The Elite Fantasy League has never had an expansion franchise win the Super Bowl in its first season. While Rice-A-Roni has the offensive star power and potent defense to accomplish that feat, it isn't going to come easy. Rice-A-Roni will play host to Straight Edge Society, the tenth seed and the first franchise to win back-to-back Super Bowls (Super Bowl VI & VII). Straight Edge Society has always been a franchise that seems to step up its game when the postseason arrives. Straight Edge Society doesn't collapse under pressure but welcomes it. In their three Super Bowl appearances, Straight Edge Society was seeded as the fourth, eighth, and fifth seeds. In the two years they won in back-to-back seasons; they were seeded as the fourth and eighth seeds. This year they came into the postseason as the tenth seed. As the postseason season expanded to two extra teams this year, Straight Edge Society was able to squeak in as the final seed. Without expanding, they most likely would have missed. While there has been some pushback regarding the expansion of the playoffs, it has given two additional teams a chance to get in when they wouldn't have. It also gives the top seeds a chance to rest on a bye and prepare for the Divisional Round. Straight Edge Society is battle-tested in the postseason, and they understand what it takes to get to the promised land. Rice-A-Roni is new to this; everything is still fresh and brand new. However, they have a stable enough core of men on the field and throughout their building, making them an instant contender and a team with a veteran aura.
The trade for Stefon Diggs earlier in the year has allowed Josh Allen to thrive in a new location, other than with LilShupeScoresBIGPoints. Not only did that trade help bolster this offense, but a healthy Josh Jacobs and Cordarrelle Patterson have revitalized the running game. The strong performance on the ground has allowed Josh Allen to have extra time in the pocket to create plays through the air by having the R.P.O. option work so well. Not just that, but Josh Allen is one of the leading rushers in the league. When this kid doesn't see an option open through the air, he can tuck that ball and run with the wind! Rice-A-Roni's is dangerous, and it doesn't end with those players. Brandon Aiyuk and Peoples-Jones continue to garner extra attention over the last few, weeks-leaving Stefon Diggs open on out-routes and quick-slants. Rice-A-Roni's defense has continued to play good ball, but if any part of their team is vulnerable, it would be this young defense. Nevertheless, they are complimenting their offense through turnover opportunities. So how is Rice-A-Roni going to fare against Straight Edge Society? Well, it will have to be a game won on Josh Allen's back. Straight Edge Society, much like Rice-A-Roni, has a versatile team and a predominantly powerful offense, giving them many opportunities to score and score big. Joe Burrow has a healthy Ja'Marr Chase and Jerry Jeudy back, which has thrust Burrow into the M.V.P. conversation. Christian Watson, the young rookie, has played like a veteran, and DeAndre Hopkins, although he has had his struggles, is always a threat at any given moment. Like Rice-A-Roni, Straight Edge Society has an excellent run game. Whether Kenneth Walker III, Antino Gibson, or Jamaal Williams is carrying the rock, this team can create holes and allow each back to break free. The defense has been able to shut down opposing wide receivers over the last three weeks through impressive stat lines when we look at it. Eli Apple alone has allowed a total of 52 yards on 12 targets. While losing Trey Hendrickson will hurt them, rookie linebacker Jack Sanborn should continue to see ample playing time. For Straight Edge Society to win this contest, Sanborn must continue his impressive play to bottle up the run leaving Rice-A-Roni one-dimensional. Ultimately, this game will be determined by which quarterback can play turnover-free football. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready because this will be an exciting game between two teams meeting for the first time in a huge Divisional game. Straight Edge Society was the first seed last year and was one and done. Can they give Rice-A-Roni the same treatment they were given last year? Only time will tell.
(9) Black Mambas @ Yuba City Sultans (2)
Match-Up Overview Just like Straight Edge Society, Black Mambas is the only other franchise to have won back-to-back Super Bowls (Super Bowl XI & XII). Black Mambas' offense, floundering throughout the last few weeks in the regular season, came alive last weekend in the Wild Card Round. Black Mambas wasn't missing a step without Taysom Hill or Chris Olave. So much so that these two may be a healthy scratch in their game against Yuba City Sultans. While these two teams have never played one another in the postseason, nor did they play one another in the regular season, it has only been close once when they do play. These two are on opposite ends of the country, which is why they have seldom played. These two have only played one another three times in their franchises. Black Mambas leads the regular season series at 2-1. The year Sultans came into the Elite Fantasy League in 2015, Black Mambas defeated these Sultans by four points and then lost to the Sultans by forty. Their only other game was in the 2020 season in Week 2, where Black Mambas defeated Yuba City Sultans by forty-one points. There isn't much to go off of since they haven't faced off in almost two years. Yet, we have seen both teams play big-boy football this season. Jalen Hurts continues to show the league he is an elite quarterback and is the leading candidate for the M.V.P. James Connor and Nick Chubb keep bringing the heat on the ground, and Black Mambas' defense and special teams showed up in big ways last weekend in Dallas against The Busy Killers. Yuba City Sultans have been able to do things not with just a couple of guys but with a core working together each week to produce a winning formula. Jared Goff is smart, accurate, and experienced, and he helps his receivers grow.
Jared Goff continues to play good football, and although he has limitations, Yuba City Sultans has developed an offense that plays to his strengths. Although Yuba City Sultans could roll with Daniel Jones or freshly reinstated Deshaun Watson, Goff realistically gives them the best probability to get to the Championship Round. It will be a big ask for Yuba City Sultans against a stellar team that has everything rolling in the right direction. Although Black Mambas has to travel again, this time across the country to East Rutherford, New Jersey, they are the favorite. As of today, they are a fourteen-point favorite. For Yuba City Sultans to win, they'll need to keep up with Hurts and Black Mambas' explosive offense. Goff will need Ceedee Lamb and DK Metcalf to have a game. They will need to prove they are dogs, and Goff has the grit to keep pace with Hurts and company. While the odd makers have Black Mambas as the favorite by two touchdowns, I expect this game to be much closer than that. Nevertheless, I expected The Busy Killers to keep it close last weekend, but Black Mambas had other ideas. They took the lead and never looked back. If Black Mambas can come out of the tunnel with the same pep they had last week, it could spell another long and agonizing postseason game for Yuba City Sultans. Last season the Sultans ran into a brick wall when they faced Ultimate Savages in the Wild Card Round. It was the largest defeat for this franchise in postseason history. The way Black Mambas plays, Yuba City Sultans will have to play a set of preventive defenses with a single high safety. This would be the best scenario to allow the defensive back, Johnathan Owens, to continue his dominant season, covering the field in all phases of defensive coverage. Containing the pass and limiting Hurts on the ground can give the Sultans a shot to make Black Mambas one-dimensional. It won't be easy, but if any team can do it, it'll be Yuba City Sultans. While these two rarely meet, I expect fireworks in a hard-hitting back between teams who know what it's like to taste Super Bowl glory and are itching to get back there.
(6) LilShupeScoresBIGPoints @ Crocs (3)
Match-Up Overview The battle between the sixth seed versus the third seed will be a battle between divisional foes. LilShupeScoresBIGPoints and Crocs will again face off against one another for the third time this season. Both teams are in the Northern-Midwest division, which produced three playoff teams this season, all still in the postseason. However, after this weekend, that won't be the case. While Straight Edge Society could remain, only one of these two respected Northern-Midwest teams will be moving onto the Championship Round. For Crocs, this is uncharted territory. Being in their second year in the Elite Fantasy League, Crocs will grace the postseason for the first time this coming Divisional Round. For LilShupeScoresBIGPoints, this will be their seventh straight postseason appearance. Last year, LilShupeScoresBIGPoints lost to Evolution in the Wild Card Round. This year they were able to clinch a bye-week to rest and prepare for their battle against Division Champions, Crocs. For Crocs, they had a fantastic season. The season saw them have a strong draft and a turnaround in the win and loss department. Last year, in their inaugural season, they went 4-10. This year they finished with a 9-4 record and a Northern-Midwest Division Title. Not just that, though, Crocs defeated opponents with whom many other franchises have problems. Going into the Divisional Round match-up, Crocs should be feeling pretty confident. In Week 7, Crocs traveled to Green Bay, easily defeating LilShupeScoresBIGPoints by thirty-three points. Just three weeks ago, in Week 12, Crocs stood strong at home in Nashville and handled LilShupeScoresBIGPoints in a more challenging game, defeating LilShupeScoresBIGPoints by nine points and winning the division in the process. At 2-0 all-time against LilShupeScoresBIGPoints, Crocs will look to stay undefeated against the cunning veteran. Although LilShupeScoresBIGPoints struggled this year more than in past years, they are in the postseason and, as always, are a threat.
Without Josh Allen, LilShupeScoresBIGPoints has had a series of woes this season, but they've been able to push to seven straight winning seasons. LilShupeScoresBIGPoints is a staple in the postseason; one thing we can expect year in and year out is LilShupeScoresBIGPoints being in the playoffs. Although the divisional opponent, Crocs, swept them, they came out as the favorite. A six-point favorite, LilShupeScoresBIGPoints will have to hope for some Brady postseason magic. Crocs are no slouch; acquiring Justin Herbert was the icing on an enticing cake. The cake already consisted of King Henry, the Penguin, Jalen Waddle, Scary Terry McLaurin, the greatest kicker in the history of football, Justin Tucker, and a balling defense.LilShupeScoresBIGPoints is going to need Tom Brady to do what he does best when it comes to the postseason. This hasn't been the best season for Brady; it possibly has been his most challenging. Not factoring off-the-field issues, the on-the-field problems have been weighing more and more. Brady isn't getting the time he needs to get the ball out to these receivers, the offensive line hasn't been able to protect him, and the run game has been inept. Justin Jefferson has been the bright spot on this team and has made incredible plays when needed. Still, without the time in the pocket, Tom Brady has looked less like the G.O.A.T. and more like a 45-year-old man trying to maintain his dream of playing professional football as his ability dwindles. While some might say that isn't the case and Brady needs a healthy offensive line, LilShupeScoresBIGPoints will need a stout performance on the offensive side of the ball to contend against Northern-Midwest Divisional Champion and rival, Crocs. Not only will that be a big ask for this team, but stopping Derrick Henry will be the primary focus. As Henry goes, so does Crocs. It will be a meticulous chess match of a game. These two know each other well-being from the same division, and neither wants their season to end against a division rival. Whether Tom Brady can find that youthful magic LilShupeScoresBIGPoints will need from TB12 to move to the Championship Round will be the deciding factor. Otherwise, Crocs' dream season will continue.
(5) Evolution @ Black Hole Son (4)
Match-Up Overview In our last Divisional Round game, Evolution, the fifth seed will travel once again to Las Vegas to battle against Cascadia-Sunbelt Division Champion, Black Hole Son. We saw this match in Week 8 when Evolution went to Vegas and defeated Black Hole Son by twenty-three points. These two have only played once in the postseason, and that was the 2019 season when Black Hole Son went 12-2 and eventually won the Super Bowl. That season, these two faced off against one another in the Championship Round, where Black Hole Son pummeled Evolution. If there is one thing we know about Evolution, they remember these things and use them as added fuel. Black Hole Son will look to have a heavy attack centered around Miles Sanders and DeVante Adams. On the other hand, Evolution will look to get Tua Tagovailoa connected with Tyreek Hill. The rumblings in Miami are that Tua has lost his confidence, and going into this game will be a real tale of how Tagovailoa can muster the pressure.
Black Hole Son shook their roster up before the deadline, and although they aren't as dominant in a variety of ways, their offense has enough star power to produce victories as long as the real Kirk Cousins shows up. We've gone back and forth on who is the real Kirk Cousins. Is it the Cousins who balls hard and gives his team ample opportunity to run away with games, or is it the Kirk Cousins who seems unable to call a simple play-action without bobbling the snap and forcing interceptions instead of taking the sack? Black Hole Son will need Cousins to start hot and continue that throughout the game to win. Much like Black Hole Son, Evolution will need the same from Tua. We talked about Tagovailoa in the M.V.P. conversation for a few short weeks, but now we're trying to figure out where that fire went. Where did that elite play go? That big arm is gone, and the inability to read the defenses has become more prominent. Tua has looked shaky, and although Tyreek Hill and company have confidence in their quarterback, it is a "what have you done for me recently?" business. The fans are uneasy going into this Divisional Round game. The odd makers have Black Hole Son as the favorite by five points but depending on who gets healthy in time for the game; Evolution could look to be the favorite once kickoff begins. The real conversation should be on the defensive units. Both teams have strong defenses. One is led by rookie cornerback Sauce Gardner and the other by savvy sack machine Matthew Judon. Both defensive units can dictate the game, and how the quarterbacks play depends on which defense can produce the most takeaways. These two are evenly matched, and whoever wins this game should have a real opportunity to play for Super Bowl XVI. Although they will need to get past this game and the Championship game, the two teams in this Divisional battle have the most balanced rosters in the postseason.

WEEK 6 - Wrap Up
youtube
I was just thinking this week that we just don't have enough trash talk in our league. It made me miss the show "The League" and I came upon this scene...which made me think of Brett Rutledge and probably the kinds of trades he would make if anyone in our league would ever actually make a trade. Guys we are starting week 7 - so just a friendly reminder from the commissioner - trades are allowed! You don't just have to get your players from the waiver wire. And let's make Brett's year and at least have 1 trade this season!
KELCE LATELY vs TREE HUGGERS
Oh yeah! Happy days at the Breen house this weekend as I took on Scott Krippayne. But, you know - I wasn't actually playing against Scott as much as I was playing against Patrick Mahomes. My only saving grace would be if Mahomes kept throwing touchdowns to Travis Kelce but with last weeks 4 TD game I wasn't expecting that to happen again. Kelce didn't disappoint with over 100 yards receiving and somehow Mahomes was held to under 25 points. I had some moments of doubt but in the end I won and move to 4-2. Scott, thanks for a fun weekend. I was dreading this match up and feel very lucky to have survived. See you in the playoffs!
BACKDOOR BANDITS vs FUNK GUY
To me he's known as "Uncle Kyle" but to you all he's the Backdoor Bandits. Let me tell you guys something...our little friend in Little Rock should not be ignored. This guy has already raked in $150 from another Survivor championship. He's also after this week 4-2. I know this for a fact...he has tons of time on his hands to listen to NFL podcast and study the waiver wire and who are the emerging players in the league. He has the time and the resources to destroy you each week and even though he has sold his company like 3 times in the last 5 years...he wants all the money too. He even snuck away with the high point win this week with 112 points ($20). Dana saw it first hand this week...even with a decent week he fell to Kyle. So beware. You have been warned...when you face Kyle stay focused and alert. Gully you are up next...good luck!
HOWARD vs TuPADRE
Well well well, it seems that our friend Rob Howard has figured out how to be in a polka band during the busiest polka month and still manage his fantasy team. Congrats Rob! That's two wins in a row. Rob put up 111 points and the mighty Andy Gullahorn who was 4-1 going into this week could only put up 68 fantasy points. Are we seeing a guy who can't dominate when he has players on bye weeks? Or did he just have 1 bad week. Next week will tell. I sincerely hope you get it together Gully. You are our current champion...we expect more from you. Meanwhile, we celebrate our Octoberfest friend HOWARD. Nice win.
LONG LEFT BALLERS vs MR AWESOME
And....GABE has WON a GAME! Congrats Gabe. Wow! What a week! You took on your good friend Bebo Norman and by 4:00 pm on Sunday you had the lead and never let it go. Bebo had a rough week with poor performances from Rodgers, Kupp, Higbee and his celebrated kicker KOO! Gabe on the other had a good week from Cousins and an amazing week from Ja'Marr Chase who put up 30 points! If I am being honest, it really doesn't matter how he did it...he did it. Thank monkey is off his back! Congrats Gabe!
MOOSES ON THE LOOSES vs LANAKILA
Well, this is a cool story. Mitch White - the guy who thinks he is the best in the league. The guy who constantly intimidates his opponent by forcing them into unwanted side bets, bombarding them with phone calls and texts and who manipulates the draft by taking players just before you plan to pick them...lost to Cliff Young! Cliff said " you know what Mitch I will not be triggered by you and your bully strategies...I will just win this damn game on my own". And then he did. If I am being honest I think Mitch lost because he got rid of his Gay kicker and opted for a Packer instead. Very sad and disappointing. Nice win Cliff! Congrats you move to 3-3.
TRADE WITH ME vs BOOMER SOONER
And in the final game of the week - Stu Jones tried his best to hold off Brett Rutledge but Brett had too many player left to play on MNF with Herbert and McManus, and by early in the 3rd quarter he took the lead and never looked back. Stu falls to 4-2 and Brett moves up to 3-3. I spoke to Stu a few times over the weekend and he is very concerned that he doesn't have the team he needs to go to the playoffs. Brett, sounds like Stu would be open to a trade. Just trying to help! Nice win.
CHEERLEADER OF THE WEEK
VANESSA - Philadelphia Eagles
In honor of the Eagles being undefeated so far this season we celebrate with one of the hottest cheerleaders in the NFL - Vanessa. She is still a student at Temple and is so very proud to represent the Eagles. The city of Brotherly Love is very lucky.

At one time [Ja'Marr] was an avid book reader, but that quickly changed once his friends found out he was reading books. Because of peer pressure.
He had two cousins, girls, and they used to read books. So he seen them reading, so he wanted to read too. So he would read with them. But then when his male friends come around like 'bro you readin' books??' he kinda like put it down...
