...So big news I know what was wrong with what I wrote ! Well not wrong per say but it explains why it was so difficult. It took me a whiiile to understand that I was writing in a harmonic minor key (because I stopped paying attention in music theory classes as soon as I understood that none of it would help me with double bass and also it was all in G clef), and it was difficult to make it work because the melody I had in my brain didn't work with the chords progression of the harmonic minor key but I needed it still for the last chord that would use notes in that scale.

I just watched a video about the andaluzian cadence. Turns out the harmonic minor key is essential to making it work. On the last chord. So yeah I was doing an andaluzian cadence without knowing it but it's nice to know it now so I can make it actually work ! I love to learn :)
