side eyeing the new communities feature like not to be a pessimist but why do I already envision them blowing up with fandom drama
#I think the thing I love most about tumblr is that we're all having parallel experiences & that any interaction is optional & deliberate#& that it's somewhat possible to run in the same spaces as someone else but not interact with them#ive been trying to examine why every single discord I've participated long-term in has imploded violently#& I think it's just that there's no meaningful way to block someone on discord when you're still in the same server#like. the likelihood of at least 2 individuals having drama w eachother in any group is very high.#on discord there's no meaningful resolution to this that doesn't involve kicking someone out#hex.txt#just thinkin
