i don’t like. have anything against x reader stuff, even if it’s not my thing, but it’s just a weird like…culture shift almost. im used to fandoms where the tags are filled with art and meta and speculations and it’s just really weird and offputting (to me personally!) to go into character tags and it’s just 90% x reader posts

#x #like i said this isn’t negative and while i don’t do x reader i write oc x canon a lot #it’s just like #i dunno it varies by fandom of course but ive just noticed a general shift in that direction in the past number of years #ive also been largely out of fandom in general for awhile so that’s probably partly why
