sorry one more thing LOL truly think EVR would go out of their way to make it as hard as humanly possible for them to rerecord because of all the shit Awsten did. he’s so bad at letting sleeping dogs lie and admitting there’s smarter ways to go about shit (like he could’ve done DD19/ENT19 at the concerts without releasing it the way he did, the tour dvd having it would’ve been more than enough) and he doesn’t have people in his corner to get him to chill out lmao. had he bided his time he could’ve just had his cake and ate it and watched EVR scramble to be assholes and have no standing, because those are still up (I think because they’re technically considered covers? same as blonde and lucky people being able to be on the live version)

as far as i know theres nothing stopping them from playing dd and ent songs live so i dont even think the 2019 versions were necessary except as a “FUCK YOU HEHE TRY AND GET ME” that he genuinely thought that he could get away with bc they wouldnt bother?? but of course they were gonna bother like lol u were being obvious about it because NO ONE is in your corner telling you to SIMMER DOWN…… i think he thinks ppl telling him “hey, this is not the way to approach a legal dispute, you cannot retaliate this way” as them saying his feelings arent valid or that he wasnt wronged which obviously they are not saying.

he has such a chip on his shoulder from bad past experiences with “the industry” that he lashes out and goes totally rogue and off the handle by himself when hes wronged and its only going to continue to be a stumbling block for parx in the future if they have dreams of major labels. i know it sucks to have to stay quiet when you were wronged, when you KNOW you have this huge parasocial fanbase who will fly to your defense because they like you, but as an ADULT with a JOB and a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT you need to learn you cannot handle disputes the same way you could as a pissed off 19yo. sorry.
