Because he is just some guy who has a completely mundane experience of being rejected by a cute gir#And he just becomes the fucking joker over it#its awesome i wish this series would stop trying to retcon ashfur into 'always having been like that'#i wanted his regular design to really emphasize the Literally Just Some Guy thing#and then let the spirit design look fucked up#also i was having trouble drawing spotted tabby markings when i drew the first one#and then i drew the spirit one later and it was suddenly much easier#Like huh.. well anyway#wc design
