This is the Thomas the tank engine European word book.

It's illustrated by Ken Stott.

Busting out my low grade duolingo just to feed a hyperfixation.

The book is all about teaching kids French and German phrases, it's pretty cool actually.

Yeah, it's surprisingly thorough and has like a section to show kids how to pronounce specific words and whatnot.

It even shows you how to roll your R's properly in French, that's very handy to know.

"R is rolled or trilled at the back of the throat."

I can almost imagine kids in reception and playgroups just running around yelling at each other in flawless French because of this book.
