Do you ever. Get somewhat invested in a fandom for a thing you don't watch or whatever and then consume like. A TON of fanfic where one character is this big huge scary threat and then, one day, you do get into the thing proper and get to that Specific Fandom Big Bad and while they are indeedy evil and antagonistic to the protagonist their actual canon self isn't. That bad honestly???

Like. Yeah I. Get where the fandom's coming from but like. After that One Specific Fic they're not actually that tough????

#i mean. aside from the MASSIVE amounts of trama they leave behind #it's. sorta a weird disonnece honestly #like i'm old enough to appreciate both versions but it does hit me every so often #the amount of dread/weariness knowing about the character and the THREAT they were #and then seeing the reality #i know; dumb #but i find it kinda funny sometimes my journey to certain medias thanks to this site/fandoms in general #blah blah blah #shut up snowy
