Okay, so...

My assumption has always been that Simon is just kinda intrinsically Fatherly and that aspect of himself simply persisted in spite of the Crown’s influence

All the way to his Ice King persona and the way he doted on Gunter

But maybe putting on the Ice Crown just kinda…turns you into a Dad??

I mean... not necessarily a GOOD sort of Dad... but definitly some sort of Dad???
