I'm like half a year late but i finally finished tiger&bunny and WHAT was the fucking point of killing yuri in the end like why

Not to mention that they didn't even give us taibani facing lunatic at the end and instead gave us that stupid fight where he isn't even in control of his body

I feel like they had a clear vision of what to do with yuri as a character in the first season but appaently had none of that for s2? They just have his mom killed and then kill him off too in such a half assed way...

#don't perceive me i'm mad that my little meow meow died #they could've EASILY!! have him keep up his hidden identity for a possible continuation wherein his character development consists of #more than just driving him mad with sadness and then have him go -it wasn't thanatos' voice...it was mine-#it's so out of left field that they had to aknowledge the awkwardness by having tiger go what the hell are you saying #but that just made it worse #also yuri was so PAINFULLY and PERMANENTLY alone through all of this like... i'm not saying he should've been friends with the main group #but srsly? they can make 5 stupid rookies that they couldn't even fully establish into the story but nobody by yuris side #to open up to or maybe even face his trauma and scar and memories of his father and challenge his beliefs that he CHOOSES to be vulnerable #there is no redeeming or sweet talking what he did but they could've at least thematised it seriously instead of whatever that was #anyways i love!! tiger&bunny but at least in regards to yuri this was just not it. wish we had gotten a proper arc focused on him
