#ooc.#it's so ironic bcs as i was saying to jay a couple days ago abt#morrigan & ellis' love literally becomes survival during the blight#but if they were to have stayed together afterwards neither of them would have been given the chance to grow into the people they needed to#become#ellis wouldnt have sought out help for his mental ailments bcs he would have been too occupied trying to tend to his family unit#( who he would have loved to the best of his ability )#& morrigan would have never been given the chance to grow on her own#but ellis is literally haunted by the fact that they were always meant to say goodbye#bcs he loves her#he loves her for the rest of his life#but without that room to breathe & process trauma they wouldnt have been able to WORK#so they're forced to move on & get on with their lives#there's such yearning there#also idk why all of this is in the tags but i'm keeping them#hc.
