#horizon zero dawn#hzd#hzd landscapes#so i recently hooked up my ps4 and downloaded my entire capture library#and i was going thru the hzd shots#it's so interesting to see how i learned how to use photomode lol#(hzd was the first game i'd played in like a decade)#i definitely go from 'just taking a picture of a thing'#to 'setting up a deliberate shot'#to 'achieving what i was going for'#practice practice!#(idk if i achieved anything here haha)#but i really liked the light and how you can see the spire#i do notice that altho hzd of course had great draw distance#textures can look pretty miserable at distances that look pretty good in hfw#i can't wait to see what they do with the decima engine next#i'm pretty sure this is near#hzd the sun-steps
