I've heard that you can romance Kawakami, but I just reached rank 9 with her and neither here nor in my first playthrough did I even get the "Choose your words carefully" prompt. I don't know what I did, I guess I just have sick parkour skills that let me dodge even having the option to date my teacher, yay me!
