it's all fun and "i don't think i could ever write a fae romance or a hades/persephone inspired story cause i'd never be able to come up with an idea for one" until i suddenly have an idea that's both of those things

#its NOT a retelling it's just a dynamic/premise roughly inspired by them #anyway this started when i realized my pink spring elf prince oc kinda has a persephone aesthetic about him #it's queer btw. the hades-inspired fae is genderfluid but mostly presents as male #and i do kinda wanna explore my own fae beyond the little screentime theyre gonna get in my vampire books #the demeter-inspired character is NOT gonna be villainized if i do end up writing this just to be clear #the dynamic between valentin and his mother was actually inspired by rhaenyra and jace before i even really got into hotd #and considering how much i love those two now well. vengeful human woman whod tear the world down to rescue her son lessgoooo
