Do you ever feel this urges of writing something that goes COMPLETELY against what fanon/fandom considers canon, stuff like:

Cody isn't in a batch with the other commanders, and he only knows them because of the joint squad training

Cody has always been named Cody, never Kote, and actually hates when people assume that his name is a 'nickname' over the fact of people not being able to pronounce Kote ([KOH-day, KOH-tay])

Cody didn't know Rex from before the war, they only met and hit off because Rex was assigned to Anakin and Cody had to work with Rex because of the amount of times Obi-Wan and Anakin work together

If Cody met Obi-Wan in any other situation, they would have had a simply neutral friendly relation, even if later on, much later on they became good friends

Cody doesn't harass Obi-Wan to wear armour

Rex doesn't think it's weird that Anakin eats bugs, he has no problem eating them, like any member of the 501st, AHSOKA is the one who has a problem with it and at it was only because the planet they were in had a few poisonous bugs that looked like all the others and she didn't want to die in one of her first missions

Following the last dot, Rex actually knows some bug recipes to make them tastier, part he learned from experience and the other from vode and Anakin himself

Tup isn't actually a baby, the only reason he was holding into the handle like that is that the last few times he flew on the same LAAT/I as the pilot he fell and he isn't taking any changes

Tup is older than Rex, but hasn't taken any other rank because he doesn't think he can lead people

Also, when on missions he sticks to being professional (i.e ranks), but sometimes, in some situations, he can slip and call people by their name/call them brother/sister/sibling/etc

Dogma and Tup didn't know each other before the 501st

Tup is actually a good fighter, just doesn't want to be a ARC Trooper

He is a simple man, making his way across the galaxy

Jesse and Kix wouldn't have been friends had they been in different battalions

Most clones don't want to learn mando'a, as they most don't like the trainers - yes, I know there might be evidence of otherwise but honestly 1) I am using the higher canon (that is, the cartoon) as a baseline 2) not every clone must have known mando'a (or even know a lot of words, maybe just basic words)/not every clone may have wanted to learn the mando'a, especially if they had bad trainers, which we know it's a possibility of existing

also I think it would be interesting to tackle that point of view

Anakin doesn't actually yeet Rex that often, just that Rex had been thrown in the battle right before the Bad Batch arc in tcw

Rex hair is bleached, but Crys has natural blond hair, just he dyes it often and that's why It's Like That

Obi-Wan actually goes to the medics often, and Anakin too (except on high stress situations), Ahsoka was the only one who didn't go to the medics and that was only during the first two or so missions because she 'should be a better fighter' but she outgrew that very quickly.
