lestat spent the entirety of tva as at first a literal, unresponsive, living corpse, and then a fucking zombie for a spicy second. and of course Armand, who Daniel once described to have acted like "an insect", is the only fucking guy who perceived this shit and still see lestat as a person despite of it. Armand walked into the chapel where lestat laid comatose with zero vital signs and everybody was like, "oh armand you can't approach him! once some dude walked near him and lestat's body just automatically obliterated him" and armand was like, ok! but if! i approach him with like, idk, immense love and compassion in my heart? and this deep innate understanding that he is a person and not a spectacle to gawk at? what if i do that instead ?? maybe i wouldn't die? and then he did exactly that, and he in fact did not die. Then later on Lestat just showed up at Armand (and marius, pandora, and this two kids)'s dwelling, clothes tattered, hair dusty, no thoughts in his head. Eerybody was spooked out of their minds but armand just stood up and was like "oh hi lestat how are you" and gave him a hug and then they both sat down and just listen to sybelle playing piano and that's just how tva ends. im- how am i supposed to be normal after reading this fucking shit.
