#every time i go to play Hades I'm like#'i'll only play for a little while; i won't get sucked into it this time'#and then emerge four hours later and immediately blasted by the reminder that i have a body and i've ignored it this whole time#i'm usually good for not clenching my teeth; the muscles around my jaw will still tighten up like no tomorrow but my teeth stay apart#but this goddamn game#flushes that subconscious part of my brain straight down the toilet and suddenly not only does the jaw hurt but so do the teeth#Every time!!!#I love this game but oh my god it completely separates me from my body#perfect escapism i guess but at what cost#it's now almost 11 pm and i haven't taken my meds which means it's going to be fucking hard to wake up tomorrow#whatever- my excuse is that it's a long weekend even though those don't exist in my work#kee speaks#need to go give myself a jaw massage and try to fall asleep quick
