Can’t believe Microsoft doesn’t have a keyboard shortcut for typing em dashes...an embarrassment, that’s what that is.
#aaaand that's how I downloaded autohotkey#think i'm gonna look into swapping around a few other keys#also for the record microsoft's chinese input keyboards for traditional characters sucks#it's not that big an ask to have taiwanese mandarin inputs using pinyin#i'm willing to bet that the majority of CSL students in taiwan use pinyin and not bopomofo tbh#and no. installing a mainland keyboard and toggling it to traditional is horrible because the two aren't interchangable#i want to write lese and not laji and 台灣 not 臺灣#and i want to see normal character options instead of being assigned one. you know. like every normal keyboard gives you????#for the language where homonyms are so common that puns are an art form you'd THINK that would be obvious#at least do the courtesy of acknowledging the language of the country you're outsourcing your semiconductor chip manufacturing
