there's somethin tickling my brain funky about how they keep attributing different character actions + lines to others
#like it's fine it's just Confusing a little bit bc I keep thinking I know what I expect from these stories and characters and how I've#psychoanalysed them since I was like /12/#it's not bad funky necessarily it just significantly changes how the characters Are#biggest ones I can think of off the top of my head are 1) Miriam finding the wounded man drawing instead of will. will found it completely#by accident and didn't suspect Hannibal of anything at ALL and made one od those inexplicable connections#the victim in the book only matched the wound pattern so it's different that Miriam found a drawing of exactly what was done to him#ESPECIALLY since Hannibal recognized the Eureka in his eyes and gutted him right there#and 2) Hannibal's line in s2 about people being only light and air and color. tooth fairy said that in the book in fan mail to lecter (and#he viewed him with like. mild disdain but amusement. very different to see Hannibal taking on the perspective of someone so lost to reality#+ whom he did not respect at all) but it DOES give an interesting flavor to match his psyche to will's
