wearing my sunglasses indoors because my regular frames broke, which is fine because they're not really dark enough as sunglasses and there is a lot of glare in my sister's living room.

unfortunately these frames are also hard smooth plastic (though at least they're not glossy) and not as comfortable as my other frames and also i think the fit might be slightly crooked because I got them fit while trying to wrangle a mask 😂

#nadia rambles #i think my nose is also just not the best shape for glasses without adjustable nose pads #but my preferred texture for glasses has been the rubbery kind for a few years now #it's more comfortable and more sensorily pleasant to me #the plastic on my sunglasses isn't too bad since they're a kind of satin finish but it's still not ideal #glossy plastic is the worst though #anyway these are the darkest shades they offer!! (not counting specialty treatments) and they're like. medium gray.#are mirrored lenses just that much better at reflecting light? are generic sunglasses just by default darker than prescription?
