Rebadging in the Automotive Industry is the practise of sourcing models from competing car manufacturers to round out their product lines without investing in the in-house production of a new car model [1]

Anyway, this is the Toyota Yaris XP9F (2009-2011)

And this is a Daihatsu Charade (2011-2013)

#riu speaks #yaris incident #it's literally an XP9F with the 2011 99HP 1.33L engine and the Cool & Life variants renamed to Basic and Top #The irony being that Life is the second best variant in the Yaris #Executive is the best interior for the Yaris #but understandable that daihatsu didn't rebadge the executive #from anectotal checking of the German used Yaris market not a whole lot of Executives are around #most are Cool & Sol (first and second interior upgrade respectively)#with the occasional Facelift Life running around being called a Sol ._.
