not to sound like an annoying jock, but joining a team sport that I actually enjoy a few months ago has actually pushed and motivated me to self-improve in ways I would never have anticipated
#it's like... the perfect mix of a supportive environment and naturally inbred social pressure that actually makes me Want to get better#and… knowing I'll be playing actual games soon and that I don't want to embarrass myself#is making me rethink exercise in a way I might actually be able to maintain a habit#this maybe sounds a little cold idk – but “Doing It For Yourself :)” has never in isolation been enough for me#“Do it so you can last a full game without collapsing” hm yeah good idea#fiona.docx
