I got hated indie this so I didn’t want to say it, but yes their relationship was too fast for me in season one. I don’t believe that ppl connect with each other that fast lmao. They’ve known each other for five days and suddenly they’re like ‘what about us ?’ What us??? Genuinely have felt left out of the fandom and lesbian community cuz I just did not understand them; I remember going to the last episode before their rain scene on Netflix just to check if I posed an episode. The feeling a were so high for two ppl that only met last week.

But I feel like season two will actually develop their relationship and give sth more than just that (imo) shaky foundation. I get connecting as friends and like having a bit of a crush and sexual attraction, but they both looked like they were neck deep in love with each other at the end of the series which was wild and confusing to me. They’re he first animated lesbians I didn’t ship and I feel so bad 😪

I love your reading on Cait. I don’t connect to her character but seeing other ppl’s perspectives makes it easier to like do that. Cuz she genuinely is cute and means well.

(Also I wondered if it was just me but do you see like Cait’s narrative purpose in the story ? Like, I feel like one of cait’s purposes as a character in season one was to create (unintentional) chaos between Vi and Jinx, given what she symbolizes for high of them and such, and that genuinely irked me. omg same i hope season 2 gives cait and vi some time to uhh... reflect? grow? go on like a normal coffee date and learn each other's favorite colors? simple things. cait didn't even know violet was an orphan and she was already giving her the lovey dovey eyes, they definitely skipped a few steps in their relationship in season 1 (but i get it, they were going through some pretty big individual and shared traumas at the time, they didn't really have time to get to know each other)

i think cait's narrative purpose is probably to give us an insight to piltover and how the majority of citizens up top think about the undercity. cait is completely clueless that people two or three miles from her home are living in despair-- it isn't until she goes to the undercity herself and learns from vi and ekko that she starts to realize. i think she is meant to show how piltover's managed to turn it's back on its sister city for so long-- it's people just live in pure ignorance both about the issues zaun's citizens face, and the fact that piltover's to blame for those issues.

i had a dream not long after txt's tnc:temptation was released. i was a main role (??) of some sorts in txt's cysm and we were shooting the mv (i was watching content from tdc:eternity era before sleeping so i guess that explains it)

so blah blah blah, terry and i become best friends, blah blah blah, i end up going home after the shoot. next morning i wake up to what seems like a studio choom behind ep, and its txt's reactions when they find out i wont be filming with them anymore??(somehow we skipped a whole 4 albums and came back to tnc:temptation?) so soobin, beomgyu and yeonjun were spinning in a t-pose with the fairy dust sprinkling around them, terry and kai were watching them, and then they were like all sad when they found out i wasnt filming anymore, then started sending hearts and blowing kisses to the camera AND TERRY SAID I LOVE YOU😭

so i started crying in the dream and posted the clip of yunjin saying 정말 감사합니다 on my twitter 😭😭 then i woke up and got really sad that i wasnt actually friends w taehyun

Do I blame Chat for being in love with Ladybug? No. Do I blame him for letting it take over his job and being unable to control it? Yes.

You take one look at “Lies” and see what happens when Ladybug isn’t around to keep him in check, and Ladybug can’t scold him before he gets upset and it never goes well. Even when he tries to make up for it in “Glaciator 2,” it doesn’t actually solve the issue; he didn’t tell Paris himself that he screwed up and that it’s not right for them to ship them when Ladybug is uncomfortable.

Add on the schedule and whatever emotional issues Chat has that is preventing him from taking the fight seriously (getting an anonymity mask for heroism is not something to see as a free pass to “go wild”; that’s what friends are for), and you have a recipe for someone who either needs his miraculous revoked or should’ve had his issues addressed a long time ago. Ladybug can’t - and shouldn’t have to - tackle his emotional issues due to their identities having to be kept a secret. She has a lot going on herself and putting these two together is like putting two bombs together and expecting them to defuse each other. She needs someone more stable if said person isn’t there to take on any of her burden.

An Innocent Sin & the good gay flashback ft. my descent into madness

I wasn’t sure if I should post this but I mostly want it archived so here we go. This is from like,, September?

So. “An Innocent Sin” is a dumpster fire unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember why I decided to read it. maybe I was crazy. Either way... I read it. It soon started to touch upon (very very outlandish) sexual abuse which I thought was interesting. (the angst, not so much some of the wack circumstances surrounding it)

ANYWAY. at some point... we have a flashback. And not just that. It has a gay character.

And it turns rly gay. which mind you, is still in a het smut manwha (that has a “gay” side couple, but still!)

And it destroyed me.

For those who want to read it because I genuinely think the flashback is a decent bit, it’s all the bonus chapters between chapter 77 and 78 I think. There’s a part before that too, but idk where exactly anymore. (It’s on lezhin! or your platform of choosing)

the shit that amazes me the most abt aviation is the feeling of limitless potential that exists in it. so much technology exists that people dont know about and its wild to me that its actually a thing. and i tend to think “well shit if we managed that already just imagine how much further we can go.”

its also BATSHIT when u think about how far the tech has come in such a relatively short amt of time. like wtf. its literally been like 116 years since the first instances of powered flight. considering the very humble beginnings and fact that now theres an aircraft for like almost every job, allowing people to do things that used to be impossible, thats amazing. like now we got shit that can cruise at the edge of the atmosphere. stealth fighters w/ radar absorbing coating so the damn jet appears as an object the size of a bug. i mean damn even airliners. ppl complain bc unless ur in 1st class its unpleasant to travel and yeah but when u think abt how u can cross the world in a day where it used to be like, weeks on a boat. damn shawty ok.116 years. 

of course so much of that development was driven by wars and stupid shit but its still fucking impressive the level of ingenuity and dedication on the part of everyone involved in developing these things. like. im not tryna suck military toes but shits still cool

and the technology is just going to continue to push the boundaries of what everyone thought possible bc as soon as a need arises for something that nothing we have yet is capable of doing, someone out there WILL find a way to make something that can. and bc its often the military funding it u kno they go all out for that shit

as far as how i got into aviation- its my dads fault. he worked for boeing and textron during the better half of my childhood and has always been involved with aviation to some degree. when i was a little kid he used to take me down to the airport to watch the planes on weekends and i could point to almost anything and hed be able to tell me what it was. that shit never got old to me.  actually learning to fly was just like an idea but not sth i looked at as a real possibility for a long time. and then i realized “bitch i can legit just do this lol.” i actually wanted to be a helicopter pilot originally but that training is even more expensive so i settled for fixed wing. its still fun. 

and yea its definitely challenging and rewarding. flying a plane is not like, easy but i also dont think its as hard as people assume. when i was training 4 my private license there were a couple things that were fucking hard for me but i got so mad about it i just kept doing it until i got better in a p short amt of time and i think i managed to do that bc i had invested so much time....and money already i was like ok mf ill be damned if i let it get me now. so i got my private pilots license. however i still have a long way to go before ill be able to make money out of being a pilot. and thats kinda intimidating but so are a lot of things. living is fucking intimidating so i might as well try this shit while im at it. im also hoping to go to school to become an aviation mechanic as well bc that side of it is just as interesting and fun 4 me. + if ur a mechanic who can also fly the damn things thats extremely desirable 2 employers. and ive had some hands on experience thanks 2 being buddy buddy with our mechanics. so i also get a lot of opportunities out of my current job just by nature of being at the airport all the fuckin time and knowing everybody.anyway long story short, that post thats like “im always in an airport. even when im not literally in an airport im emotionally in an airport” thats how im livin

1. What is your name?

“Sam’ael, from the dalish clan Lavellan. But most just know me as wrong Herold of Andraste, Inquisitor, wild freaking elf who saved the world’s ass?“

2. What is your real name?

3. Do you know why you were called that?

“As I know, my parents picked a mythological name up from the shems and simply transfered them into our culture.”

4. Are you single or taken?

He utters a brief laugher, “Well... it is sth... complicated.”, and he swiftly pets the jawbone hanging around his neck, “And no. No futher comment for.” His right hand rises to hush the person infront of him.

5. Have any abilities or powers?

“Well, I used to close the holes in the sky with that glowy magical thing on my hand but now it is more like a huge pain in the ass...”, in a stern honest he glares to his left hand. *I am quite good with the bow?”, he looks up while Sera giggles out laud in the brackground and he turned his head slightly around to her, smiling. “Yes, I am and you know it!” Sera snorts and giggles louder.

“You’re kidding....” and an arkward break happens . “Ehm, well. Brown-reddish.”

“My whole clan, actually. And my companions, on who I grew, too. It is not just blood, like anyone want it to be.”

10. Oh? What about pets?

“Pets.”, he repeated, “How odd.” Now the interviewer looks confused. “I like the company of animals, yes. Except of huge spiders...”, Sam’ael wispers to himself. “But completly free as they like. Not that I own them.”

11. That’s cool I guess, now tell me about something you don’t like.

“You know exactly how dangerous ANY answer of this can be for me and or the former ppl of the Inquisition.”, and a huge smirk appears on his lips.

“So, let’s keep it simple. Cities. Loud, crowdy cities. How can you manage to live there? To ever get used to that?”, he ask desperately. “Oh, come on, ‘Quiz-- I mean, Sam’i. Don’t do that elfy thing, will ya?!”, Sera rolls with the eyes. “Oh, come on! Don’t do that non-elfy thing, will ya?”, he echoes her tone grinning.

12. Do you have any hobbies/activities you like doing?

“Find places to hide, take a lot of books and arty things with me. And escape in a forgotten or commonly unknown world? Playing some lute? Drinking in taverns? Maybe mocking some nobles? Training my aiming with the bow? “Fucking some elfy-elf and thinking no one is around? ... Ewgh.”, a girl-voice adds. “SERA.”, he turns back, eyes wided and got another idea. “Ah! Sitting in huge spas and having some cheese weels on my eyes! That was great!”

“Sure.”

14. Ever… killed anyone before?

“Indeed. But not that’s sth. I quite like to do..”

15. What kind of animal are you?

“I guess sth. like an eagle or a hawk.” He looks far away while thinking of some animals.

16. Name your worst habits.

“Too much thinking, too much caring. Maybe low self-care.? And a bit too flirty. The more drinking before, the worst it gets.”, he winks.

17. Do you look up to anyone at all?

“Yes. In our ranks workes an really talented mages with much of knowledge for those who want to listen. Such ppl are rare and I enjoyed hi--”, again he gets interrupted. “Oh yea, he REALLY enjoyed this special freaky.” And while Sera finishes laughing, she gets dragged out of the room by Sam’ael. “By Elganan. Too much information she knows. Thanks Varric.”, he snorts.

“Many hints were already given, so it is no langer a neccessary secret. I am pansexual. Preference to a fascinating character of someone.”

“Generally.” he adds, and get reminded of some flirty and spontaniously activities with a quite fascinating qunari warrior.

“I got sth like that in my clan, yes. Unfortunatly not that intense education like a keeper’s first - I have no magical abilities - but I was quite motivated to be as good as them I could manage.”

“Who knows.”, he waves aside the question.

He snorts while laughing.

“Being left alone. Made responsible for any little failure I could have made. Especially while running the Inquisition, you know. The preasure and weight on your shoulders. You can easily break, if you try to keep all by yourself.” Sam’ael clears his throat, “But someone was needed and... I already got quite deep in that mess with this mark on my hand...”, he shruggs.

“That quite fancy pyjama, I currently wear?”, he smiles. “I really love it

He only nods sadly.

“Oh shitty boy, did you EVER fight against 2 blighted orks and one powerful emissary?! In the deepest fucking caves you ever was?!”, he  fursiously gestures while speaking. “You can be lucky if you just wet yourself, man!”

“Rum. Especially our home made one. Your shem’s is... drinkable.”, Sam’ael admits coy.

“The emerald graves are fascinating. And so peaceful and calming.”, he dreamly replies. “Except for the giants - better keep distance.” , he adds. “But in contrary, the Fallow mire with its dark and mysterious secrets and tragedy is hella exciting, too.”

“In someone, yes.”

“Who is asking?“, a brow is rising slowly by this strange question.
