Was watching old SNLs and this one struck a cord in me.

Draxum would absolutely be the parent who ate this shit up. He's usually the one to harp on about media literacy but something about the more modern format and his love for his children overrides all sense and logic in his brain and he just goes straight to panic mode. Leo (because it's always Leo) has 100% gotten in trouble for shit Draxum saw on TV.

Drax: "Aha!"

Leo, sneaking back in after sneaking out: "wha-"

Drax: "I knew it! You were out with that boy, partaking in one of those lipstick parties!"

Leo: "No, I was out with Donnie? We just saw a movie and got candy, it wasn't even rated R."

Drax: "Don't lie to me! I know what you teenagers are all up to! You're grounded! To your room!"

Leo: "We don't even wear lipstick..."

Splinter also falls for these news segments, but in the completely opposite direction where he just doesn't care.

"They're using litter boxes in schools now? Well, that's weird, but they'll grow out of it. No harm done. Look, they're smart boys and I'm pretty sure Purple knows how to get narcan, I'm not worried. They're not doing what I was doing at their age, so for that I'll consider it a win."

I know you're a lesbian but your day is about three weeks away and I wanted to take this opportunity to ask how the fam celebrates lesbian day, is it like mother's day? Only they give gifts to Bella and give a toast in honor of Sapho?

(she did send this ask on bi day I just forgot about it)

I jokingly call myself a lesbian but I think I'm somewhere between bi and lez. Like, I'm mostly into women, but there is the occasional guy I'm like "okay, I can see that now."

Also lmaaaaaao that's a hilarious image. I can imagine them starting that up after the war ends and they can all be more chill about shit.

As for Bella in particular-a lot of the gay holidays are pretty new, a few began in the late nineties but most started in the 2000s-2010s, and Bella withdrew from human society in 1992 and didn't really rejoin it until about now. So she probably doesn't even know Lesbian Day is a thing lol, the Yokai don't bother with that because it's a total nonissue to be LGBT+.

Leo would have so much fun arranging that party though. I imagine he makes Bella where a sash and tiara too.
