no listen humboldt county is literally on constant rotation in my head im like. i think that petermax fundamentally did something to me as a person. like the way that max reenacts his father's death but peter walks away, both from max and from his own father. the way he thinks humboldt is a vacation and max is an escape, and he's wrong on both counts.
