either we need another word, or we need to accept as a society that if it has the sugar content of a can of soda and flavor to match, it's not a "mocktail"

#yeah yeah the calorie content of alcohol isn't low that's not the point #the point is if I or others wanted to drink a can of soda we'd drink a can of soda #I love cans of soda!#also love seltzer + flavors thereof!#the point of mocktail is not to not drink alcohol it's to have an INTERESTING BEVERAGE #you simply cannot be interesting if the overwhelming flavor/impression is Holy Shit Sugar #and the annoying thing is such beverages actually do exist #it's just dumb luck finding recipes because there's no reliable term for them
