holy shit ao3 updates come in hebrew now. but. since hebrew has gendered second person (like. male/female "you", with the male usually considered the default unless talking to a group of entirely or at least almost entirely ppl who use like. female form of speech for themselves). the translation team made a conscious effort to write everything in aforementioned female "you" and this is lowkey jarring to see ngl

#this is one of those things that give me subtle dysphoria lol. either that or being in a group that's referred to as 'girls'#i get WHY they did it. i mean statistically speaking there are just more girls writing fics than boys lol #it's just 😐 completely a me problem ofc but still :/#in recent years ppl just started combining them into one word #like instead of אתם (male) and אתן (female) people just write אתםן or אתם.ן and the likes #it's not grammatically correct but eh who gives a shit.#so אתן is p much used exclusively for girls-only spaces #this was a very long ramble abt basic hebrew grammar to say ''owie dysphoria hurtie :(''
