Have this human around base and they just kinda get adopted and learn about various aspects of Cybertronian life. Extra points if the person was straight up grabbed for no particular reason except subconscious reflex skills. "Oh, Johnny c'mon! It's just a baby! It's gonna die out here by itself!" A soggy box with an equally soggy cat sat on the corner of the sidewalk. The kitten inside looked thin and frail, shaking life a leaf in the wind.

"You sure you wanna take it in? What if it has, like, rabies or something."

But instead of responding to him you were too busy picking up the box and cooing at the cat inside.

After only having the kitten for a few days you had become obsessed with it. Constantly cuddling and petting him, endlessly brushing his fur, and spoiling him rotten with expensive food and soft bedding. And the kitten had become just as attached to you, constantly pawing at your leg for attention.

And Johnny was seriously considering getting on all fours and doing the same thing if you didn't give him some attention soon.

"Baby, I'm home!" Johnny shouted as he walked through the front door, noticing you sitting on the couch with that damned cat on your lap. He sighed and walked over to you, sitting next to you and wrapping his arm around your shoulder.

Completely enthralled with the ball of fluff on your lap, you didn't notice your boyfriend sit next to you. Too busy petting and playing with the small cat.

Johnny rolled his eyes, pouting as he gently grabbed your chin and made you look at him.

"not even a, good afternoon? I'm hurt." And in all honesty he was slightly hurt. This lack of attention was driving him crazy.

"oh! Johnny, I didn't even realize you got home, I'm sorry."

"maybe if you took your eyes off that damn cat.." He muttered under his breath, rolling his eyes.

"awe, c'mon are you really jealous of a little cat?"

"me? Jealous? Of that thing? If I was jealous that would imply that it's better than me. And if I know one thing, I know that cat is nowhere even close to being better than me." He was jealous of that cat. Completely and entirely jealous.

"sure you're not johnny," You gently guided the cat off your lap, looking back at him. "If you really want attention so bad just ask." You smiled at him, kissing him on the corner of his lips and crawled into his lap.

"I think you missed, sweetheart." He placed his lips on yours and pulled you close, wrapping his arms around your waist.

"sorry I haven't been paying you much attention, johnny."

"don't sweat it, doll. Now I was wondering, if you could give me some attention somewhere else."
