Confession, I would like to try making music with like. garageband software or smthn but am so so paranoid I will post something and then see 500 responses that are like "wow this sounds exactly like xyz"
#it's funny bc plagiarism in music came to the front of the discussion with olivia rodrigo being accused of ripping off paramore#and it's like. it's a little tricky bc homages exist and also there's only so many notes you can put in so many orders that sound good#it does bring up questions about how (western) music is produced with things like 12 vs 24 tones as far as notes are concerned#I'm just interested in giving it a shot at some point lmao#hoatm rants
