btw the reason i showed you guys another pic of my seahorse shaped butter knife is that my mom pointed out that with the metric ton of large ferns in our front yard, it kinda looks like we're in a kelp forest, and now i'm mentally larping as a mermaid

#it's fun i'm imagining this house is a coral palace with seashells and pieces of sea glass decorating the place #i've got a pink dolphin buddy (yes ik those are a freshwater species shhh suspension of disbelief there's already mermaids)#though i'm debating going pink seahorse instead just for a bit more scientific accuracy in my daydreaming about mermaids #when i swim and imagine i'm a mermaid i usually give myself a pink tail with gold shimmer but i went with iridescent purple this time #bc i'm wearing a purple dress irl. in this mental larping i've also got little sea stars all over my arms #and a huge tiara of coral and shells and pearls #(i am also wearing a huge tiara irl but it is not ocean based)
