Bite Me
Chapter One -> who is she?
Paring: streamer Sukuna x influencer F!reader
Summary: A little Q&A video — sponsored by an AD company you did an Ad campaign with — blew up over night. Fans shipping you with your newly revealed crush, who so far appears as if he don’t even know you exist. Sukuna’s reaction to seeing your AD, did not help the shipping.

You placed your camera and made sure all the lighting was good before clicking record on your go-pro.
Today you were talking about your new brand deal, and doing a little Q&A video that your fans had been requesting for, for quite some time.
You cleared your throat before you started talking, “hello it’s me, how are you guys today?”
You asked the camera knowing you won’t get a response back so you continued on. “Today we’ll be talking about my new brand deal and then doing a Q&A at the end of the video.”
You looked to your desk and grabbed your new make-up brand deal. “I have partnered up with Elf , and we made something so exciting. Well exciting for me and I hope for you.”
You showed the camera an eye shadow palette, eyeliner, and brushes.
“We have created an 18 color eyeshadow pallet, that has four highlighters inside.” You placed everything down and opened the pallet and grabbed your camera.
You showed the camera what the pallet looked like up close before putting the camera back onto its stand. “So 14 eyeshadow colors, and 4 highlighters. Let’s go over each highlighter first.”
You took your finger and picked up some product before swashing it onto your forearm.
“This fist one is call pink dahlia. It’s more of a nice light baby pink shade. As you can see lots of shimmer so that’s nice.”
You picked up the next highlighter and repeated. “Now this next one is kind of a chrome looking highlighter, and it’s called melody. Don’t ask why I choose these names.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at the name as you spoke it. You like the name and thought it’s was pretty, your just now realizing you’ve already give two of four highlights a human name.
“The next one is one I’m really excited about, it’s a blueish purple highlighter! So if you look from one angle you can see the blue undertones.” You moved your forearm slightly. “And if you look at this angle you can see the purple undertones. I really like this one. Probably my favorite.”
You grabbed the final highlighter and showed you swashing it before speaking about it. “This one is called enchanted and it’s more of a tan-ish neutral shade and it’s really an easy go too.”
You grabbed a makeup wipe and removed the highlighters from your arms.
“Now there’s like 14 eyeshadows and I’m turning into a ulta worker at this point but I’m going to use my favorite colors and show you a look with the new brushes.”
You grabbed some eye shadow base before blending it out.
You grabbed a brush and started to show it to the camera before using it. “This one’s really freaking cool, because it has two sides. So I’m going to use one side for the eyelid and the other side to buff it all and blend it out better.”
You showed the brush up close to the camera before taking your eye shadow pallet and dipping into the the Smokey black shade. “This shade is called onyx.”
You tapped your excess power off and started to just place the black on your outer eyes. And the started to slightly blend it out.
“Now I’m going to grab this dark red and do the same and place it in the middle and blend it out gently into the black.” You did as you said and blended it out with a light hand and then went back in with some more of the black and blended it out a little, while giving it a bit more smoke.
Then you grabbed your make up wipe and made the cut sharp.
You grabbed the eyeliner next and with a light hand you applied it to your waterline, “something cool about this eyeliner is, one side is pencil while the other is liquid.”
You put it t down and showed the camera a view with your eyes close.
“Really nice, feels super light, no fall out, I really like this look, so i definitely recommend. Now I’m just going to finish my make up and I’ll be back to show you the finish look.”
When you started to record again your make up was finish and you had pull out a list on your phone of questions asked.
“This is the finish look, and I have thirty minutes before I leave to do this Q&A.”
You look down at your phone and read off the first question. “Do I plan to do a giveaway soon? Yes. I will probably post on my tiktok about it soon, so look on there.”
“Do I like video games?” You couldn’t help a little laugh that left your lips as you gave your answer. “Yes, but I rage too much so I don’t play much.”
“Any collabs soon? Yes, obviously Elf but I also plan to do a collab with @ThatgirlNobara so that’s gonna be fun.”
“Do I know Gojo Satoru and if so do I think he’s hot?” You gave a slight smirk to the camera. “Yes, but I think someone else from that group is hotter. Which will lead to the next question.”
“I noticed you follow Sukuna, what are your thoughts on him?” When you went to answer you couldn’t help the laugh and the faintest blush coming to your face. “He’s my celebrity crush, my TikTok is full of edits of him.”
“How did I get to where I am? I’ve gotten this question a lot and there’s a simple answer. Do what you love, if you love makeup do makeup. Be kind, and always have an open mind. It’s not something that happens over night you just have to have goals and the patience to achieve them.”
You did a little stretch and noticed the time. “That’s all for today, I hope you enjoyed this video and I’ll see you in the next one.”
Sukuna was reading the comments and he drummed his fingers on his desk.
Sukuna when do you plan to launch the Minecraft series?
“Me and the boys are gonna have it out within the next week.”
You haven’t played Valorant in a while… have you seen the new trailer?
“Valorant? No I haven’t seen but we can look while we’re waiting for Gojo to get his shit together and get on.”
Gojo’s whined out a hey from Sukunas headseat.
Sukuna switched the live to one of his side monitors and pulled up YouTube, looking up the trailer.
“Five months ago? Damn I’ve been out the loop.” Sukuna pressed play and immediately and Ad came up and it was one of those long 15 second Ad’s you couldn’t skip.
“Ugh come on. One thing I hate are Ad’s.” When the Ad came to an end Sukuna expected to see the trailer but was disappointed by another ad. “Are you kidding me.”
This one he could skip so he waited five seconds but in the fourth second you appeared across the screen stopping him and making him pause instead.
“Holy shit she’s hot.”
A bunch of who’s came from Gojo and his brother Yuji while the chat started to spam your name.
Chesterf6297: That’s Y/N
Rando101: That’s Y/N L/N she’s a beauty influencer
Toji - fushiguro: damn she’s fine.
“Who the hell is Y/N and why haven’t I seen her sooner?” Sukuna asked his chat but didn’t bother too look at the comments as the Ad drew his attention once again.
He pressed play and the Ad was talking about some make up bullshit that he couldn’t care less, no he was focused on the red that was popping out your eyes. As if you were wearing that for him.
“Dude she’s hot as hell.”
“Whooooooo?!” Gojo’s whiny voice came through the headphones once again and this time Sukuna blessed him with an answer.
“Someone name Y/N L/N.” A gasp came from Gojo as he recognized the name.
“Omg I saw a tiktok edit of her, hot as hell. Her recent video she called me hot too.” Gojo purposely left out the fact she said Sukuna was hotter just to fuck with him.
“Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny.”
Quinntonsu75: dude it’s true
Ginahjsh45: Yeah but she also said your hotter
Hislhu: Yeah she said that
Sukuna read the comments but kept his mouth shut and just watched the trailer. By the time he was finished Gojo had logged onto Fortnite and the squad started to play.
They played a few games and usually Sukuna would talked to the people he was playing with (talk shit) or he would interact with his comments and veiwers.
However in between games he was currently looking you up, you had officially peeked his interest, though he didn’t make it anymore obvious. He didn’t talk about you for the rest of the stream, but you stayed in his mind for it.
You scrolling through your DM’s responding to people — not to the rude or weird ones, you blocked them — when you noticed that Ryomen Sukuna himself had sent you a dm.
Sukuna: Hey.

First chapter out 🤭 this is so short compared to my other works. I’m in the works of making part two and I plan to make it way longer.

Yalisian Summer
↳ Warren glanced up from the bar and his cocktail as Guetry burst into the building, out of breath and holstering his still-smoking gun while his ankle-length duster settled around his legs. The tattoo cascading from his neck flashed erratically and the triangular scar on his temple emitted a quick purple pulse that possibly mirrored his own.
Guetry's eyes darted around the mostly-empty hut and settled onto Warren, then the pink drink in his hand, and his face contorted into unadulterated disgust, which Warren anticipated pretty much as soon as he entered.
"Shut the fuck up," Warren yelled before Guetry could open his mouth. "I'm on vacation and I'm a grown-up, I'll do what I want."
Guetry tipped his head in a "fair enough" gesture and shrugged the duster off, tossing it onto a stool before sitting next to Warren. "Speaking of doing what you want," he grunted.
"He's late," Warren said. "But I didn't expect him to be on time. Tournaltis keeps him busy. What are you doing here, by the way?"
"I visit Yalis once a year," Guetry said, throwing a patient finger toward the lenayan bartender and tapping the stone bartop. He said a few words in Yalis dialect.
"But what the hell were you shooting at? Is there a mob outside or something?"
"Actually yes." Guetry nodded in thanks at the bartender, who glided over to him with a clear drink in a strangely normal highball glass. He threw them a mostly innocuous wink before accepting the order. "Superfans of Skywaste."
Warren almost inhaled his drink. "Did you just murder them?!"
Guetry knocked back half of the glass in one go. "Not this time," he sighed wistfully. "Not this time."
The canvas flap leading into the building lifted open and Thrive stepped halfway inside, frowning at something unseen near the beach.
"He's not dead," Guetry said over his shoulder. "I went for the knee at the last second."
Thrive and Warren exchanged concerned and bewildered expressions across the room.
"Uh…hi?" Warren said, holding an arm out. "How was your trip?"
"Peaceful," Thrive replied, ducking down to indulge him in a quick, sweet kiss before taking a seat on his other side. "Perhaps I should take a break from keeping a planet running more often."
"That's literally everything I have ever wanted, man," Warren lamented. "Been trying to tell you that for months."
Guetry leaned forward to look at Thrive. "Where's your cape, old man?"
"At home. Despite it being a cherished gift, I don't like wearing it when I'm not working."
"Want sex on the beach?" Warren asked him cheekily.
Thrive eyed him, clearly unsure which direction to take in answering the question. "Judging by your grin I'm going to assume that doesn't mean literal sex on the beach." He paused, then lifted his eyebrows. "Though maybe it does."
Warren chuckled. "It's a drink. Well…it's called something different here, and the ingredients are a little more local, but it's basically the same thing. Not usually my kinda thing, but it's beachy and fun and it's making me hate the heat a little less." He held his glass out to Thrive, straw aimed toward him. "Try it?"
Thrive obliged, taking a tentative sip from the blushing liquid. "Hmm. Not very strong. Hints of…sea sugar. If I'm going to imbibe, I may as well do so with this."
Warren swung around to Guetry, who was already on his second drink. "That's not gin, is it?"
"Hell no. Think I'd be caught dead drinking gin after I almost literally got caught dead drinking gin? No."
Once Thrive got his drink and Warren got his second and last, he suggested they stretch their legs on the beach. Guetry tucked his entire glass under his arm and whipped out a mirror and a thin eyeliner pencil, touching up his liner the instant they stepped outside.
Warren and Thrive watched him with interest, impressed at the sight of him further taking an eyeshadow brush and blending the deep blue outer shade with the black inner shade, all without taking a single misstep on the coarse sand.
"Christ, dude," Warren laughed. "You've perfected the art of killing it on the go."
"Damn fucking straight," Guetry muttered, spinning around to get better lighting. He put the makeup away and sniffed, peering out into the horizon. "This place is something."
Warren stopped walking and sipped on his beverage, eyes roaming the vast green ocean and the faded moons on opposite sides of the sky, framing the gray sun nearing the water. "I could live here."
"I'm sorry Tournaltis has failed you somehow," Thrive said facetiously. "I can have your things moved here first thing in the morning if you'd prefer."
Warren smirked. "You can't get rid of me that easily, babe."
Thrive gave him a subtle look that made him question rejecting the idea of sex on the beach so quickly.
Guetry laughed. "Gross."
"Don't be jealous," Warren said.
"I love you guys so much."
"Yeah, we love you too, G." Warren wrapped his arm around Guetry's. "Let's get you sobered up before you start crying and ruin your hard work."
The three of them ambled down the beach and spent the evening chatting, enjoying the local food, and reminiscing on all of their adventures thus far. It hurt a little to go their separate ways, but it wouldn't be too long before they could join up again.
Pretty soon, it was an annual thing. Meeting at the bar on Yalis, walking the beach, and enjoying one another's company. And that went on for many years to come.

Here’s a drabble for @writeblrsummerfest‘s “OCs at a beach bar” prompt!
None of this is canon (unless I get ideas lol) but I just thought this was too good to pass up.

Fun fact: I take photos to help me remember what products I used to create a look so when I recreate them I know what I did! Highly suggest doing the same.
Always my tip and practice to do 1-2 costests focusing on makeup to help me do it quickly and consistently. Typically the first time I am sort of just playing around and the second time I try to recreate the first test in case I like it, typically taking photos of what I used and in what order so when I revisit the cosplay that can jog my memory. Figured for Gwen Stacy I would share some of that process!
Step 1: the base
Beginning with a photo primer I rub that all over my clean face. Then I use a color correcting palette and use that to help hide redness and dark circles and any other major discolorations before slapping on my foundation. I try to bring my foundation down my neck a ways but for Spider Gwen that’s not necessary given the suit. Then I apply concealer under my eyes, around my nose and corners of my mouth and any major pimples.
Step 2: shaping
I always, always, alway carve out my jaw line so that I don’t have to strain my neck as much in photos. Nowadays I have also been doing my throat and nose to help give me a bit more dimension. I then highlight right over those parts. After that I apply a finishing power set (which is an extra light highlight that’s more translucent) and then I give myself a little blush. My blush placement varies depending on the character but for Gwen it’s right on the apples of my cheeks. I also use an icy highlight to go along my cheeks and just the tip of nose to help really bring out those features.
Step 3: brows
Gotta give myself brows and for Gwen I’m using two pencils to accomplish that one taupe shade and the other more brown. I also have been using the spooly to help soften the lines.
Step 4: eyeshadow
From my original contest I switched from my very pigmented morphs palette to NYC palette which is less intense and looked a lot better since I was more understated. I typically take a matte brown or champagne color to help deepen my crease and smoke out the lid colors. My outer edge color typically it brought down to my lower lid just a smidge to help give the look more color.
Step 5: lining
Beginning with my liquid liner on the top I try to get those as similar as possible. Then I use white eyeliner for my water line, inner corners and to highlight the arch of my eye brow. Afterwards I use a black pencil line for my lower lid that I take to about the middle or my eye, using gold eyeliner to finish off the other half.
Step 6: SFX (if applicable)
For Gwen I used spirt gum to glue on my piercing pieces. Took a bit of work but stayed on very well once I got them placed. I was worried about the spirit gum irritating my eyes but luckily that was not the case.
Step 7: lips
For this particular look I used a pale purple pink matte lip with brown gloss to achieve the lips I did have and I love how that turned out. A bit more enhanced version of my own lips!
Alright hope this helped or entertained you! Thanks for reading!

Flowering (Richie Tozier)
Summary: Richie Tozier and his relationship with makeup.
Words: 3,621
ao3
A/N: I might do another with Richie and Bev sharing clothes as a part of androgynous Richie series?
It all started with Eddie’s stupid dare. It was the normal gang sleepover, this time at Ben’s house, and then came their eventual game of Truth or Dare. The seven of them almost knew everything about each other already- so before the end of the night was over the truth or dare became a game of dare or dare.
Eddie had a vendetta against Richie and he was prepared for the game. During the school day Richie had decided to use his granny voice in front of the chemistry class to talk about how cute, cute, cute he was. Richie used his granny voice to tease about his height and his shorts in front of the entire chemistry class. Now, Eddie was fine with this happening in front of the losers- hell, it was even normal for Richie to tease Eddie with one of his stupid voices? But why did Richie have to grab the entire class’s attention and make fun of him. Eddie wasn’t furious, or angry, but annoyed. Eddie saved his annoyance in his chest, waiting for the end of the night for the truth or dare game to embarrass Richie back.
“Richie, truth or dare?”
“Do you know who I am, Eds? Dare!”
Eddie didn’t hesitate and didn’t have to take his time to think because he had been thinking about it since their third block that day (it had slowly became a Saturday without them caring). “I dare you to let Bev do your makeup tomorrow. Full face and you have to wear it the entire day.”
Richie didn’t falter. “You got it bud. Bev! Get ready to make me pretty!”
“Goddammit, Richie I’m not a miracle worker!”
The next morning, the losers were all sat in the grass of the side lot of Bev’s apartment watching Bev use her little brushes and pencils to paint on Richie’s face. Richie was talking himself up, hoping to make it seem he was more confident than he actually was, which he wasn’t. “Eddie, my boy, your dare game is off. You need to use that pretty little head of yours and use it for good because this isn’t your best work.”
“Beep beep.”
“Stop moving!” Bev grunted, moving Richie’s face back so that it was facing her. She was currently using a thin brush to fill in his eyebrows with a dark brown eyeshadow. “It’s like you want me to stab you in the fuckin eye.”
Richie decided against opening his mouth again and let Bev do her thing on his face. He liked the feeling of it, the brushes on his face and the liquid going over his cheeks and his eyes. He wouldn’t admit that to everyone right here as they watched him, or well, watched Bev do all of her things to him.
It was nice, all the doting that Bev had in her. That was until she had finished.
“I’m done bitch, get ready for the reveal.” Richie closed his eyes and he felt Bev’s hands place a mirror in his hand.
He moved his hand up and opened his eyes to look at himself in the mirror. Bev had followed through with Eddie’s ‘full face’ request and outdid Richie, he didn’t recognize himself. The dark purple and pink eyeshadow on his eyelids was reminiscent to something he had seen in one of Bev’s fashion magazines (he would help her go through them and pick out pages that he liked or that he knew she would like so she could hang them up for inspiration when she made her own clothes). Bev used a dark reddish pink on his cheeks, which almost made his freckles the same color as his skin. His eyebrows seemed easier on his eyes but they looked natural and not overdone as he had seen in some of those magazines.
What he liked best as he was looking at his face was his liquid lined eyes. It made his brown eyes look bigger than they were, which made him look prettier. Bev did a good job, and Richie didn’t know how to feel about it. Was he supposed to like the way the makeup felt on his face? Eddie dared Richie to do this to embarrass him, was Richie supposed to feel embarrassed? He didn’t much like the eyeshadow too much or all the blush on his cheeks. His face already was ready red all the time and the blush made him seem a little redder. Richie, looking at himself in the mirror, did what he did best, and ran his mouth to hide his thoughts.
“Thank ya, Bev!” Richie exclaimed in his old time New Yorker voice. “Now Imma Beaut!”
He held the mirror vainly, fixed a few of his unruly curls, and fixed his part. Bill stood up from his crossed leg position in between Stan and Mike and spoke up. “Wuh-we get it, R-Richie. you’re beau-beautiful.”
“Damn right I am, now come on Big Bill, give me a wet kiss and tell me how you really feel.” Richie stood up with him and slung his arm around a now Standing Eddie. “Is this why you wanted to see me like this, Eds? To see how beautiful I am?”
“Beep beep.”
Completing the dare was actually pretty easy, much to the dismay of Eddie and the other losers that wanted to see Richie out of his comfort zone for once in his life (under their terms). Richie held his head with pride (with the exception of a few adults where he held his head down so he didn’t look them in the eye; he didn’t want to hear shit from adults). Damn, the makeup made him feel good.
Whenever they walked around town, on their way home to lunch or to go to the arcade, in all the glass of the shoppe windows or the screens of arcade games Richie couldn’t help but stare at his reflection. His eyes always looked bigger because his glasses were so thick, and the eyeliner made his eyes look prettier than they actually were- or he thought they were. He thought his eyebrows looked better too, the eyeshadow Bev used to fill them in made them look; Richie didn’t know.
When he had gone to the bathroom in the arcade, Richie took off his glasses and stared in the mirror over the sinks. He had to get closer to the sink to see his features well enough (bad eyesight made life awful sometimes) but he liked the way the makeup looked on him.
They had all played in the Barrens after lunch, spending their time as they always did: with each other. Whenever the sweat going on Richie’s face smeared the eyeshadow or he accidentally wiped under his eyes to get rid of the phantom itches Bev would always fix it up with tissues Stan asked her to keep in her backpack.
As they laid in the clearing Eddie grumbled about how this dare wasn’t enough to makeup for embarrassing him in chemistry class.
“I’m sorry, Eddie, I didn’t mean for my granny to be that loud. She’s just so proud of much you’ve grown!”
“Beep beep, Richie.”
“I’m sorry that I’m confident with makeup on.”
“Beep fucking beep.”
“I’m sorry-“ Bev shoved his head down into his chest.
“Did you not hear him, Richie? Beep. Beep.”
Everyone laughed as Richie pouted and laid down with his back on the ground, looking up at the sky.
Richie was in his upstairs bathroom, the one he called his because his parents kept the downstairs bathroom to themselves. he had washed off his face, but kept his eyebrows untouched and he was looking at his bare face with the dark purples and pinks on his eye lids and the black liquid eyeliner that lined his eyes- Richie was debating whether or not he should wash it off.
He didn’t mind if the pink came off, but he wanted to keep the black on, at least for a little longer. He went to the other side of the bathroom and took a piece of toilet paper and Richie, as carefully as he could, wiped the eyeshadow off. It smeared a little to his temples and under his eyes but he was able to keep a little of the eyeliner around his eyes. It wasn’t as thick as it had been before- but it was there and with that Richie changed into his pajamas and went to bed.
Richie strolled through the dollar store, running throughout the fridge aisles going to his normal stops: cheese and milk. The went down the bread aisle, grabbing the loaf he knew as the cheapest brand. Richie threw the items in the small hand basket and made his way through the aisles, making sure he didn’t forget anything that couldn’t wait until the next time he went shopping (or his father got off his ass to go to the actual grocery store).
Richie had forgotten paper plates, and plastic utensils and cups- which he always forgets no matter what. As he was walking down the last aisle he stopped.
Makeup aisle. The plastic chrome of every makeup aisle décor shone under the bright lights. He passed this aisle every time he shopped but this time, the day after the dare. He can’t remember exactly what Bev used, he had his glasses off and wasn’t really paying attention to the containers she held as much as he was the feeling of the liquid and brushes on his face and the looks from the rest of the losers on him.
Richie took a few hesitant steps down the aisle, looking at all the products with furrowed brows. Richie looked at the varying skin colored products, and the different swatches of reds and pinks, and then the little black pencils caught his eye.
Richie looked at all the different brands and different styles and he felt overwhelmed. What was he even doing looking at this stuff? He should be going to the checkout. He shouldn’t waste the money he stole from his mom’s purse on makeup, he should use it for stuff for the house like food and light bulbs. Richie, in a haste and like himself not thinking it through, he took one of the pencils and stuck it in the pocket of his shorts, shuffling his way out of the aisle to the check out, looking down the aisles to make sure no one saw.
“Bevvie, I really need a cigarette.” Richie greeted, leaning down to where she was hidden behind some concrete siding during lunch. Beverly managed to sneak out here every day for her daily school cigarette- Richie came most often too, only after he finished his lunch with the rest of the losers. Bev didn’t eat lunch most days, she was never really hungry. She usually joined them after her cig if Richie wasn’t there to keep her company. Sometimes Ben sat out there with her, not to smoke but to be her company but the smoke hurt his chest so he didn’t spend all his days out there.
“When do you not need a cig, Rich?” Bev held her camel box out and open for Richie to take one of her cigarettes and she glanced up at her friend. Her eyes watched Richie as he settled into the grass next to her with his back on the concrete like her.
Richie took one and went into his shorts for his lighter he swiped from the pharmacy one day. Bev continued to watch her friend and couldn’t put her finger on why she couldn’t look away. It wasn’t anything obvious, so she dropped the thought, moving to stuff the pack of cigarettes back in her g/psy bag that she had slung on the ground when she sat down.
“If only I knew, Bev.” Richie took the cigarette in his mouth and cupped the flamed around the end so the slight breeze didn’t stop his lighter from igniting. Once it lit, Richie took a deep inhale and glanced over at Bev. “How was physics today, babe?”
Bev groaned. “God, Rockey is such an ass. All I want to do is do my work and get out, I don’t want a goddamn lecture for sitting weird or cursing. Next time he tries to do something, I’m gonna walk out and come to your class.”
“Yeah and Mrs. Isaacs will be so pleased with that knowing that she hated me already.”
Bev shoved Richie’s shoulder. “We’ll go to Ben’s class then because he and Mr. Bales actually like each other.”
Bev looked over at the laughing Richie and noticed it, what had caught her attention before but hadn’t caught it enough to place it. She held out her hand to Richie’s shoulder and grabbed it instead of shoving it away. She looked over at Richie’s face and she saw it even clearer now through his glasses. “Did you not wash off all the makeup from Saturday? You still have some eyeliner left on your eyes.”
Bev’s hand went to Richie’s face to take her thumb under the lenses of his glasses to smudge it away but Richie pulled himself away from Bev’s hand and pushed her hand back down to her own lap. Bev was shocked that Richie had pushed her away, not in a joking way. Richie sat himself off and tried to brush off his impulsive and unintentional action by shifting his body and tried to make it seem like he was just changing his position next to her. “Yeah, there might still be some there. You don’t have to get it off Bevvie, I had it on for the entire day I’ll just wait until I get home to wash it off completely.”
Bev had gotten a little bit of the eyeliner on her thumb and rubbed it and saw how it smudged on her skin. It was a pencil eyeliner, dried liquid eyeliner didn’t smudge his much- especially if it had been sitting on someone’s face for two days. Bev’s tone became soft as she spoke to her best friend. “You know, rich, I didn’t use a pencil eyeliner on you.”
Richie was silent. If he was silent he didn’t admit to anything, right? He understood that from cop shows and history class?
Bev contemplated what she would say next. She didn’t know why Richie put makeup on even though he had dreaded the dare in the first place? Had he really dreaded it? Bev didn’t know what to think because so many thoughts in her head were zooming past she couldn’t catch one to hold onto. “It looks good on you, Rich.”
And it did.
“Pay attention and be a good student, Richie.” Bev said, speaking softly as they sat in her room. Her dad was out working and her mom was asleep in her parents’ bedroom. Richie was able to climb through the fire escape and through the house into Bev’s room, but they had to be quiet and Richie had to be gone and left no trace he was there by five- before her dad got home. “What did you like from the makeup I did on you?”
Riche was sitting in the seat in front of her large vanity mirror that also acted as her desk for school work and plans for clothes projects. He tried thinking, and remembering what he looked like. “I didn’t like the blush, or the eyeshadow, or the shiny stuff on my face.”
Bev nodded, sitting at the foot of her bed so he was next to Richie, and started going through her makeup bag and pulling out the stuff he was saying no to. No blush, no eyeshadow, no highlight, no glitter. “Did you like the foundation?”
Bev held up the foundation bottle she used so he could see. He looked at it quizzically and shrugged. “I mean, yeah? But I wouldn’t want to wear it all the time all over my face. Maybe when I have a zit or something- or maybe when I can’t sleep.”
Bev smiled and nodded, “So we have eyeliner, concealer. I’ll teach you how to fill in your eyebrows later.” As she spoke she held up the items that Richie wanted. “Do you want to try lip balm or gloss or anything like that?”
Richie shook his head. “No, not now, anyway.”
Bev took the two bottles in her hand and pushed the rest of her makeup away closer to the headboard, then she scooted closer the Richie, letting her feet hang of the end of her bed. She pulled his chair closer to her and motioned him to move his legs so that he was more so facing her than the vanity. “Now you’re taking a lesson from Mrs. Marsh.”
Bev sat with Richie, showing him how to apply the makeup and what different things he could do with it. Richie didn’t realize how hard the makeup would be and how many different ways you could go wrong (as Bev explained- because he liked the makeup but didn’t want it to look like he was wearing makeup). Bev put the concealer under his eyes and showed him how to spread it out (“blend” Bev corrected) and how to use a triangle sponge if he wanted. With the eyeliner she showed him how to use a pencil eyeliner and how to use liquid eyeliner (the thought of applying that on his own scared him- it went everywhere when he tried to put it on at Bev’s vanity).
When five o’clock came Richie crawled out of the window to her kitchen fire escape with a small Ziploc bag that held the eyeliner that Richie stole from the dollar store, a small brush to help him to make the eyeliner even and clean it he wants to, concealer (Bev could get a new one later- she had foundation for now), and a small triangle sponge she grabbed from the pack that she had lying around.
“Bevvie, you’re an angel and don’t let anybody tell you different.” Richie dipped his shaggy head down to kiss her on her freckled cheek. “I’ll catch you tomorrow?”
“You sure will.” Bev replied, waving her fingers at him as a goodbye and closed the window after him. His curly hair bounced down the fire escape and past her neighbor’s little boy who was sitting with his airplane on the steps outside his apartment.
Richie gracefully fell into the seat next to Stan in the cafeteria about a week and a half after the dare. Richie reached over and took a cucumber from Eddie’s lunchbox. “How’s it crackalackin home slices?”
“B-boring.” Bill spoke from Eddie’s other side. “No, sma-smokes today?”
Richie smiled a wicked grin. “No, Bev’s not here today and I’m not one to smoke on my lonesome.”
Eddie who had been staring at Richie’s face since he sat down spoke up. “Are you wearing lip gloss?”
Richie’s mind stopped only for a second. Bev had convinced him to try some light pink lip gloss that matched his lips so it wouldn’t look too noticeable against his already pink lips. He had been wearing a few days- keeping it in his backpack and sneaking off to the bathroom to apply it (and to smoke, obviously). Riche made guns with his fingers and pointed them at Eddie. “Wowza, Eds,” he said in a voice he couldn’t place with an exact title. “You’re eyes are getting betta seeing as I’ve been wearing makeup the past week and none of you have actually fuckin noticed.”
Ben dropped his plastic fork on his plate and leaned from Stan’s other side to look at Richie. Ben thought Richie’s face looked like it normally had and Stan couldn’t take his eyes off Richie’s, suddenly noticing the black makeup around his eyes.
“What the heck?” Mike asked, “When did you start wearing makeup?”
Richie smirked. he was relieved that his friends hadn’t said anything awful (but honestly who would’ve expected they would?) “Wouldn’t you like to know, Micycle?”
Stan breathed a laughed (trying to keep it under his breath) and whispered, “Fuck.”
Richie laughed with the reaction of the nickname for Mike (he came up with it a few days ago but kept it to himself so he could save it for a good moment).
“Really, Rich? Micycle?” Mike asked, pushing his tray of food away from him and crossing his arms on his chest. “I thought I got away without having a stupid nickname.”
Richie looked mike dead in the eye. “No one is safe.”
The group cackled at Richie’s dead stare and the makeup subject was dropped as if it were Richie stating what he had eaten that day. Actually, a conversation about what Richie had eaten would’ve lasted longer with Eddie complaining that he wasn’t eating enough and that he needed to take care of himself with Mike and Bill joining in.
Richie and his makeup were brought up again the next day when Bev was back, the boys making jokes that Richie would be even more self-centered than he normally was if he actually looked good all the time. Bev would ruffle Richie’s hair and kiss his cheek, leaving a pinkish red lipstick mark on his freckles. “He’s always beautiful boys. Makeup just makes him a little more polished.”
“Polished poop, maybe.” Stan said, cracking a grin. Richie threw a pencil at him and it hit Stan in the chest. “But it’s okay, cause it’s polished.”
Richie smiled. “Thanks Stan the Man.”
Bev looped her arm around Richie’s neck, “Well he’s our polished piece of shit so we gotta take care of him, no matter what.”

My makeup basics
I thought I’d talk about makeup today. I’m a makeup wearer, I have been for about 6 or 7 years by now. I love doing my makeup every morning, it’s something that relaxes me and I like to spend time figuring out what to do with it every morning. Now I understand that if you’re not a makeup wearer then this is pretty difficult to understand. But now that I’ve rambled on for 10 minutes I’ll get to what this post is actually about. I wanted to take you through my favourite products and some basic things that I’ve picked up over the years of wearing makeup whilst still being pretty poor (I am a student after all). I’m from the UK so I’m not sure if all of these brands will be familiar to you, sorry about that but I only know products that I’ve tried myself.
Foundation:
I’ve used lots of different foundations and am yet to find one that does all the things that I want it to on its own. My best tip for you is to find one that does most of the things that you want it to (i.e. Is full coverage or doesn’t cake or has your colour) and then to mix this with other foundations/foundation mixers to achieve the best result for you. Personally, I use three different products just for my foundation because that works best for me. Don’t be afraid to experiment and mix different things to find what works best for you. I use a really expensive flashy foundation (Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra) as this is the one that does most things best for me. Then I mix this with a super cheap foundation (any Collection foundation tbh) so that I can actually afford to wear it and lastly, I mix both of these with a white foundation mixer (NYX Pro foundation mixer) because I’m super pale and can never find my shade.
Powder/Setting Spray etc:
I’m still not happy with the powder that I’m currently using as my makeup doesn’t stay like I think it should, however, like I’ve said before, I am too poor to just throw it away so I guess I’m stuck with it for now. I use a super cheap translucent powder (Rimmel Clear Complexion Transparent powder) and out of the ones I’ve tried so far, it’s the best value for money as the more expensive ones do the same thing but cost three times as much. I’ve also tried a few different setting sprays from various different brands but they’re just not my cup of tea to be honest with you. I find that I feel like I still look shiny and don’t like how my foundation feels afterwards. I’m also terrified to touch anything because my foundation stayed super transferable so I’m sorry but setting sprays are not for me.
Blush/Bronzer/Highlight/Contour/You know what I mean:
I’m not a massive fan of blush all that much because I’ve always had pretty naturally rosy cheeks and I never wanted to draw attention to that, however I found a blush (Max Factor crème puff blush) about 9 months ago that I love to bits and will never part with. It is such a beautiful peachy colour (which I feel works better when you aren’t a blush fan, like me) and it has a gold shimmer running through it (my favourite shade is lovely pink but they’re all gorgeous!) so if you fancy going without highlighter for a bit, its built in to your blush! Fab! Now I don’t know about you but it took me absolutely ages to figure out the difference between contour and bronzer. I could never figure out what the difference was in the products and found it really difficult to find a contour shade that I liked. They were all just too orange for me. Now I won’t claim that this tip came from me, I stole it from the lovely Mykie of Glam and Gore (you should already be a huge fan like me but if not, you should go look her up… she’s hilarious). The difference between contour and bronzer, especially for pale people is the type of brown you go for. A bronzer should be a warm brown (like an orangey brown) and a contour brown should be a cool toned brown (with greyish undertones). This is because a bronzer is to simulate a tanned complexion, and a contour is to simulate shadows. To change the shape of your face. I’ve never bothered much with highlighter as I’m usually fine with just my fabulous blush, but I used a double contour/highlight palette from Collection with a shimmery pink highlight and that seems to work just fine for me.
Eyes:
Wow there’s a lot of eye things out there. *Deep breath* Let’s go! Ok firstly I know everyone loves eyeshadows, but they’re so fucking expensive. So, I’ve done loads of searching and my favourite brands are Sleek (if you like shimmery shadows) and Revolution (for more matte shades) as they are the best value for money in my opinion. I’ve never been good at eyeliner and even now it takes me about 20 minutes to do a winged liner so most of the time I don’t bother. Personally, I prefer a liquid eyeliner (mine is Rimmel London exaggerate) but I know that can be difficult to start with. When I was still getting to grips with eyeliner I used a couple of tricks, I found a matte black eyeshadow and a small angled brush and used that for eyeliner (I still do when I’m in a rush). The second trick I use is to use my pencil liner to line above the lash rather than just in the water line, then use your small angled brush to smoke this out too. Both of these methods really helped me to get to grips with lining my eyes before I moved on to liquid liner. These tricks are perfect if you don’t mind slightly more smoked liner, just beware that they don’t last as well as a liquid liner. Now for mascara, I’ve always like a more natural look when it comes to mascara so my everyday mascara is a black/brown from Max Factor as this gives a slightly less extreme and more natural look for every day wear. When going out or when I feel like using a black mascara I don’t have a specific favourite but I have a small trick if you have one of those crazy XXL volumizing, can do 11 things in one, type of mascaras (you know the ones I’m talking about). I feel like that type of mascara always clumps for me as soon as you open the thing. So rather than throw it away or get clumpy as shit lashes, a little trick is to run the brush under hot water, only for a second, don’t wash that shit down the drain. And there you go! Clump free and perfect!
Lips:
Now I’m a massive fan of lipsticks, I’ve always preferred them to lip gloss and I tend to prefer matte to gloss shades but you do you or whatever. My favourite brands are generally NYX, Rimmel London and Soap and Glory. I love NYX liquid suede lipsticks, Rimmel Kate Moss matte lipsticks are really good, and whilst I only have one lipstick from Soap and Glory I feel I have to mention it because it’s the best one I own. It stays well, doesn’t taste disgusting (which is an actual factor that I take into account) and the colour is really vibrant. My only problem with Soap and Glory is that they have a very limited selection of shades, but I guess you can’t have everything. I always feel like you shouldn’t be afraid to experiment with the lipsticks you wear. I have a black and a dark blue liquid lipstick and while they’re not everyone’s cup of tea, I think they look lovely when you’re in the mood.
I think that’s all I’ve got in me for now. I might answer makeup questions or talk a bit more about it at a later time but I’m no professional so I can just give you opinions. Have a good day if you made it this far!
Tasha xx

How'd you get your crow make up so good?
It wasn’t too complicated bro. iirc (yeah my memory is that bad i struggle to remember last week) started with black eyeliner pencil, go a little thick and smoke it out. then you want to go hard with some matte black eyeshadow. then to get the spikes, just use black liquid eyeliner. finish up with your black lipstick of choice. i guess you would probably want to start with some white foundation but im that pale i didn’t need it.
My makeup god of a sister helped me with a lot of it because my hands aren’t super steady with delicate actions but the whole thing only took like 15-20 minutes.

Hey doll hey!!! Welcome back to my blog!!! How are you? Fine I hope. This post, as you read in the title, is a makeup haul…. I have quite a lot to get through so I wont drum on and on about it. Let’s jump into my new makeup goodies….Side note … all swatches are done on bare skin with no primer and using only 1 pass to swatch.
ColourPop Big Box of Lippie Stix 48 shades with 3 different finishes for $115 on sale right now for $99 on the ColourPop website making them $2.09 each.

I finally purchased the full line of Believe Beauty. This is sold at Dollar General. Each product costs no more than $5.00. I will be reviewing the full line tomorrow.
Pretty and Primed Hydrating Primer: 1 fluid ounce. On the back on my hand i felt like a moisturizer… this is very hydrating and has no scent.
Skin Finish Foundation: .85 fluid ounces. This is a medium to full coverage foundation and I chose the shade Nude. This feels like it’s going to be a dewy foundation, it also has no scent.
Brighten Up Color Correcting Concealer : .07 ounces. I picked it up in the shade Light/Medium, I’m not sure how well this one will perform…. it felt a bit waxy. It’s a salmon based concealer so it should be good for the dark circles.
You’re Covered Liquid Concealer: .15 fluid ounces. I purchased the shade Light Beige. It was the lightest shade they had at the Dollar General I went to. It’s a spot on shade match for me so that means it will not help brighten my undereyes. It feels light weight and creamy without being too emollient.
Matte Blur Loose Powder: .14 ounces. In the shade Translucent.
Brow Defining Pencil: .02 ounces. This is a pencil that needs to be sharpened. I purchased the shade Dark Brown. This swatch is 1 swipe of the pencil, it seems very pigmented and creamy.
Long Lasting Eyeliner: .01  ounces. I purchased the shade Mystic, it’s a taupeish brown with a slight sheen to it. It seems creamy but I tested it on my waterline and it did not lay down. This is a self sharpening pencil.
Hi-Definition Skinny Mascara: .22 fluid ounces. I purchased the shade black. The wand is small and sort of reminds me of the brush on the MAC Gigablack mascara.
Eye Brow Styling Gel: .02 ounces. It’s got the standard eye brow brush. I purchased the clear one.
Satin Crush Lipstick: .13 ounces. I purchased the shade Moroccan Spice. It seems sheer but creamy.
Lustrous Shine Lip Gloss : .15 fluid ounces. I purchased the shade Georgia Peach. From the hand swatch I can tell this is one sticky lip gloss. I mean super sticky… not sure I’m going to like this product.
Get Glowing Highlight and Contour Palette: .2 ounces. I purchased the Light/Medium compact.
Believe Beauty Eyeshadow Palette: .14 ounces. I purchased the Nearly Nude Palette.
I purchased all 3 items on Amazon. Photofocus Dewy Foundation $2.79 for .95 fluid ounces, Photofocus Dewy Primer $2.79 for .84 fluid ounces, Photofocus Concealer   3.99 for .29 ounces.
This primer is a spot on dupe for the Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter ($45 at Sephora). This primer leaves the skin looking so pretty.
I purchased the shade Soft Beige. I tested this foundation out today and really do like this foundation.
First of all, this shade is so light on me. It was great to highlight the center of my face with it but looked ghostly on my under eyes. I do not like this concealer. It just looked cakey and dry under my eyes. I will test it out 1 more time and if I still feel this way I will be decluttering it from my collection.
Loreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer ($5.99 at Target for .35 fluid ounces) I picked up the shade Cashmere. It’s the perfect shade for me. Like I said in my face of the day today. It just was too thick and to cakey, but that might have been because I used too much. I will try it again this week coming and see if i can get along with it, if not I will declutter it. On the right is ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer ($6 at Ulta for .203 fluid ounces) I chose the shade Light Sand…. it’s too pink based for me but I am going to try to make it work.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation ($39 for 1 fluid ounce at Ulta) , Multi-use Sculpting Concealer ($29 for .5 fluid ounces at Ulta) , and Turn Up The Light Face Palette ($42 for .17 ounces at Ulta)
The shades from left to right are Glow, Soft Focus, and Dazzle. I’ve used this palette 2 times already and I can tell you I really love the Soft Focus powder, it reminds me of the Hour Glass Ambient Light powders. I like the Glow Highlighter, it’s pretty and not too heavy. I just don’t like the Dazzle powder. It’s too glittery and dry textured.
I purchased the shade Warm Nude. It’s the perfect shade for me. I love this foundation so much!!! It’s dewy and full coverage, and melts into the skin seamlessly.
I purchased the shade vanilla. It’s the perfect shade for under the eyes, however this is such a thick formula. It creased like crazy. It took forever to blend it in. Now I might have used too much, so with that said I will try it again under the eyes using less product. If that doesn’t work I will keep this one to highlight the center of the face.
Burt’s Bees Blush in Bare Peach. I purchased this off Amazon for $8.99 for .017 ounces. You can find this at Target, Ulta, and CVS as well. This is just the perfect peach blush ever. My God daughter convinced me to purchase it and to try it out. I am so glad she did. I think this might be my new favorite blush of life.
Benefit Cookie Powder Highlighter ($30 at Ulta for .28 ounces). This is the most amazing highlighter ever!!! It’s super reflective and leaves the cheeks looking like the are wet. I am low key obsessed with this highlighter.
ELF Baked Eyeshadow Palette (I received this free as a gift with purchase on the ELF website however you can purchase it for $10 on their website) This is in the color way California. This palette does not swatch well at all. The shadows felt dry and dusty and rough. I don’t have high hopes for this palette, but I will try it out next week.
ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencils $5 for .002 ounces… In the shade Deep Brown. These are back ups. I am still working on the pencil I have.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick ($34 at Sephora) and Lip Cheat Lip Liner ($22 at Sephora) both in the shade Pillow Talk (a nude pink). This hands down is my favorite lip color of life!!! This lipstick is very comfortable, doesn’t feather into the lip lines, and wears down evenly. The lip pencil is long wearing and doesn’t budge.
Well That’s all for now dolls. Thanks for hanging in there to the end. Stay tuned tomorrow when I test out the full line of Believe Beauty makeup. Until then I hope you have a great day/night and that you are in good spirits. Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO

Halloween 2019 is here and as I promised I’m about to show you my Halloween self. Halloween is the time where all of us make up enthusiasts can go nuts and that’s exactly what I did. I couldn’t choose just one look to show you so here are Natalias top 3 Halloween makeup looks.
But first of all, let me address the issue we all tend to ignore each Halloween.
Dressing up is fun. Letting your creativity run wild. For one day you can go over the top and everyone is ok with that. Spooky movies and good food. Good enough reason to party.
The dark side of Halloween is all of the unnecessary waste production, all from single-use costumes usually from our dear enemy plastic.
The issue was brought to my attention when one of my favorite Instagram accounts fashionrevolution posted a series of posts about the Halloween waste with simple tips on how to fix it.
#gallery-0-5 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-0-5 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
If you thrive on creativity each Halloween I’m sure the challenge to create the least waste possible is perfect for you.
What costume can you make from what you already have?
Renting is ideal for this one day a year occasion. It’s the little things that count. Follow fashionrevolution for more useful tips and always remember 4R:
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repair.
This leads me once again to focus more on the Halloween makeup rather than a wholesome costume. Ecological reasons and the fact that I have no interesting plants this Halloween. No great party I could show of my grand creative costumes skills as in fact I’ll spend this Halloween traveling 13 hours home on a train. I’m not sure my fellow travelers would appreciate my spooky makeup look on a night train.
My love for makeup was showing since I was little and for years now I’ve been using my sisters as my makeup dolls. It was always greater fun for me to create scary makeup looks than those simple ones. I mentioned little something about my previous Halloween makeup looks in my My Halloween over the years.
This time I prepared 3 basic Halloween makeup monsters looks: The Ghoul, The witch, and a Vampire.
There are several basics all of these looks have in common.
First of all a babyface. The preparation of the canvas that is my face started off as usual with my La Roche posay Effeclaid Duo creme. I’ve been using this one for forever now and I keep refilling the bottles.
My everyday foundation is either LRP BBcream or Vichys New Mineralblend foundation but for these looks, I didn’t want to waste my good foundations for just a few photos. Instead, I got myself a simple Sephora foundation just for this purpose.
I did sacrifice my good Vichy powder to fix my foundation. Never have I ever found a powder that would fit me better than Vichys dermablend. Ever since I was little and found it in my mum’s makeup bag I knew I found the right guy for me.
Macy’s have the best selection on brows products and you can find them all in their All about brows section. I’m personally a fan of powder eyebrows colors with a brush. I find it easier to work with and I have a kit similar to this one HERE.
That’s it for the base.
Each look further varies but with the same color scheme of black and red.
Ghoul look was inspired by many Pinterest posts I saw over the year. It’s creepy and simple enough.
All you need is:
black pencil eyeliner or liquid eyeliner
black eyeshadow
sponge
concealer one shade lighter than your foundation.
And that’s it.
Firstly I applied the concealer on my mouth as well. Then I drew asymmetrical shapes over it with a black pencil. I simply added more color to the edges of the shapes and blended in inwards to create depth. It’s a really thorough job that requires a shit ton of patience. Took me almost one hour to be satisfied with the result.
After you’re ok with your new jawline draw over the edges with lighter color concealer and then calk those light lines with a bit of black eyeshadow. Adds to the whole 3D look.
For eyes just go bonkers with the black eyeshadow. I also prolonged the liquid eyeliner from the insides of my eyes to the tip of my nose. Don’t forget to add a black pencil to the lower eyelashes to make them even more narrow.
Finish up with either Halloween contact lenses or use a filter as I did. The second option is not only cheaper but you have many more options available.
The Ghoul Halloween makeup look is done.
I wanted to approach the witch make up look from a different perspective. Let’s forget for a second the stereotypical idea of a witch being ugly, dirty, messy greyish women. Then I came across this pin and I fell in love at first sight, and I knew right away I’m gonna try to recreate that. I did my best.
What I used for this look is pretty simple.
dark red eyeshadow
makeup remover
black eyeshadow
highlighter
red lipstick
sponge
On my pre-prepared face, I applied red eyeshadow using a sponge. I did my forehead and the bit under my eyes just as my neckline. It’s easier to just paint over your whole forehead and then remove the part you want to have a little moon on. Just a bit of cotton dipped in a make up remover would do the trick. Of course, you don’t need to have just a moon on your forehead. Your options are wide open.
I used the black eyeshadow to highlight my eyebrows and to deepen my eyes.
After I applied red lipstick I dabbed my lips with the same sponge and red eyeshadow I used on my forehead. Not only this adds extra matt effect to my lips but also unities the color shades into one.
Make the cheekbones pop with a little bit of contouring.
The more the merrier. I added a bit of highlighter on my upper lip, nose, chin, and cheekbones.
What I love the most about the scary Halloween makeup is that you can never go wrong. There are no rules or standards of how the witch needs to look like. It’s all up to your imagination so just have fun with it.
The last look is a classic vampire look. There are several types of vampires currently on the market but I choose the ones that look the most like the Vampire Diaries with a combination of True Blood vampires. If you have no idea what I’m talking about right now then good for you.
This type of vampire is characterized by bloody veins popping up every time they feel the thirst for blood. Sensual blood drop out of the corner of a mouth is also a must.
For this look I used:
red eyeshadow
black eyeshadow
brown eyeshadow
red liquid lipstick
I created smoky eyes as usual. With a thin brush and steady hand, I drew thin lines under my eyes with red eyeshadow. Then I ran those red lines with a bit of brown eyeshadow to make it look more realistic.
For lips, I just applied my favorite matt red liquid lipstick and did blood drops out of the corner of my mouth. I added a bit of a smudge cuz there is no way sucking blood is not gonna get messy. To finish up the look I added a bit of brown eyeshadow to the blood drops.
That’s probably the easiest look you can do for Halloween.
Pale face. Black smoke eyes. Red lips. Blood drops. Black clothes.
Tadaa you’re a vampire.
Which look of mine do you like the most?
Let me know in the comments.
I truly hope you’re gonna have the best time this Halloween no matter if you plan to celebrate at a big fun party, a small group of friends, on your own or not at all.
Happy Halloween babes xo

Let’s talk about the October glambag. I must admit I wasn’t too excited when I saw the sneak peeks of what I would be getting.
THE GLAMBAG
This month, we paired up two of our favorite trends—crimson and lace—to make your October a little more mysterious. We hope that you’re batty for it.
THE DESCRIPTION (off of Ipsy’s website)
Urban Decay – 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion
Why You’ll Love It
That 24/7 callout is no joke. This pencil really does last allll day.
It glides on like butter. Meaning that crisp lines, graphic looks, even a cat eye is actually easy. (We’re not just saying that!)
The inky black shade blends like a dream, so you can really smoke it out for that rockstar chic, morning-after-an-epic-party vibe. (Or not! You do you.)
IT COSMETICS -Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder
Why You’ll Love It
It’s so light and airy, you can’t feel it on and it gives you a soft, airbrushed look in seconds.
It’s made with silk, collagen, and antioxidant-rich ingredients, which means it’ll make your skin super happy.
We passed it around the office and the translucent shade works on sooo many skintones.
DOUCCE – Freematic Highlighter in Solstice
Why You’ll Love It
We’ve hardly met a highlighter we don’t like—but this extra-pigmented formula won our hearts for being super smooth (like pure silk) and so easy to blend.
That. Shine. Tho. Your BFFs will legit need shades to handle your glow.
It’s so pretty as an eyeshadow, too.
BLAQ -Mask
Why You’ll Love It
It’s like a detox for your skin. Activated charcoal (the main ingredient) gets rid of toxins and impurities deep in your pores. We used it and felt so squeaky clean—no scrubbing needed.
Got stubborn blackheads? We know the struggle. This mask gets rid of them super fast and peels off easy.
It takes 15 mins to work, and that’s plenty of time to post #maskselfies.
MDMflow – Liquid Matte Lipstick in Retro
Why You’ll Love It
We love the look of liquid lipstick. But we can’t stand when our lips feel dry. That’s why we’re way into this creamy, comfy, hydrating formula. (Shout out to Vitamin E!)
We applied a few swipes in the morning and it stayed in place for 8 hours—no touch-ups required.
This shade lives up to its name. Retro is the most perfect (and flattering) vintage-y pink we’ve ever seen.
THE REVIEW
Urban Decay – 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion: Is a typical eyeliner pencil. One of the ones you have to sharpen up. The only difference is that it is creamy and applies smoothly. It is also highly pigmented and long lasting in both the waterline and on the lid. At least for me. I have no problem with other the price of the full-size version.
IT COSMETICS – Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder: Let’s start off by saying that I do not know if any of the other claims are true, I did not get that far because this powder does not work with my skin tone. No matter how much of this I use, it still leaves a white cast under my eyes. So, there is no way I am setting my face with this. I would not purchase this.
DOUCCE – Freematic Highlighter in Solstice: Love this! This highlighter is a beautiful light gold shade that blends easily into the skin and looks amazing. It is not pigmented with one swipe, but it is buildable, which I like. You are able to get a full of glow or a glow from within look. This highlighter is Divinity Approved.
BLAQ – Mask: It is kind of hard to review a skin care product when you only get a sample size. What kind I say other than it’s a mask. A black mask that you peel off. It did leave my face feel, refresh. What I mean by that is it took off some of my dry, dead skin (also my peach fuzz) and left it feeling tight and a bit smoother. Plus, it is fun to use scare the hell out of your mom. Lol😄 ! Not sure if I would purchase this.
MDMflow – Liquid Matte Lipstick in Retro: I did not like this at all. Okay, that is a lie. I like the shade of it. But, that is it. It took at least three coats to get it to full opacity and then had the nerves to be super sticky when it dried down. I couldn’t even test out how long it lasted because the feel of it on my lips was gross. I would not purchase this.
OVERALL
Is the October Glambag worth its price, no? I would spend $8 for it, but not $10. I just did not like enough of the products. The one thing that I truly loved was the highlighter. And, the mask and eyeliner were okay, nothing to write home about. The rest was a definite no. I am glad that I received this bag though, just so I had the opportunity to try the highlighter. Plus, the bag is super cute.
Now, November Glambag, I am super excited about. Stay tuned for that review, and to see if I keep my excitement.
October Ipsy Glambag – Worth The Price? Let’s talk about the October glambag. I must admit I wasn’t too excited when I saw the sneak peeks of what I would be getting.
