sometimes when I'm feeling very grouchy I start hating the hyperspecificities of internet culture like the way everyone knows exactly 1 fact about certain media properties that they read on twitter or wherever and we all know about this one obscure thing or social justice cause and not the million other equally interesting things that are out there but weren't in a viral post in 2012
