sorry but ppl on the internet are so naive when they genuinely believe the majority of people "hate capitalism".... that isnt anywhere near the truth. most people are sheep that just go along with what society says is right. when im out there and talk to "normal" people and listen to their convos they are literally pro capitalism. they talk about how the 8-5 work day 5/week is GOOD bc they get to work a lot and make "a lot" of money. many people will complain about unfair work hours and too big of a work load but they dont do anything more than complain... they wont vote for the left, they wont join unions, they wont stage protests or demonstrations... most ppl are like "omg fuck capitalism lmao ahhhaha fuck capitalism am i right???" but they still dont actually do anything to change it... because the entire point with capitalism is that it is comfortable and convenient. netflix and spotify is capitalism. ordering takeout is capitalism. having packages arrive to your door or close by is capitalism. concerts by your fav artists is capitalism. flying a plane to resorts all over the world is capitalism.... ppl only say "fuck capitalism" bc yes they're overworked and underpaid, but they dont actually want to live in a society without capitalism. it would mean a profound change of our entire reality as we've known it for centuries. it would be extreme. it would actually feel like it does in movies where the world is ending and society resets. it's too scary to actually go through with, and no one wants to do that. saving the planet and tearing down capitalism... would mean an extremely different world and life. no more driving your car to work and to the store and to the gym and back and forth to your parents or friends. no more going to multiple concerts every year. no more going to luxury resorts in ibiza or greece. no more online shopping. no more ordering takeout. the truth that nobody wants to admit, because no one wants to admit that they would choose to continue living in comfort even if it means destroying this planet, is that no. you dont hate capitalism. not truly. most people do not hate capitalism. if most people did... we wouldnt have the world we have now and always have had since capitalism was introduced. humans make this world. we get the world we deserve. and nature trying to kill us is what we deserve. it's like when we're sick and our bodies get fever to burn the virus. we are a virus. we could choose to stop. but we dont. only a small handful of people are willing to actually do what it takes to save earth. most ppl who make silly comments about oh my god fuck capitalism tihihihihi are not part of that small amount of people. it is sad, especially for the people who do get it, who do want to save earth, because we are such an extreme minority we have no power at all. the masses win. and the masses have chosen to live in greed and consumerism and comfort even if we'll pay the highest price thinkable.

My reviews on Manhwas

Alright so, recently I've began to fall into the great Manhwa hell, as if I didn't have enough fandoms.

But I neither have friends to chat about this with, nor a Discord chat where I can fanby about it, so I just decided to throw it in here.

These are both Manhwas I recommend and my opinions on them. If there are any spoilers, They will be striked through and in blue for anyone that wishes to avoid them (if anyone even reads this lol).

1. The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass (악녀는 모래시계를 되돌린다)

Premise: Aria was a terrible person and was sentenced to dead by being beheaded. In her final moments, she discovers her step sister, Mielle, actually manipulated her during her entire life just so she could get Aria killed. She then is beheaded, and wakes up in the past, in her child body. So now, she must work to both survive and get her revenge on her sister.

Lovely story, and my first Manhwa. The art is simply stunning, and all the characters are very flashed out and developed. Aria (MC) is the pettiest person alive and I'm here for that.

Also, I noticed a trend where, even though the manhwa has "Villainess" in the title, the MC is usually a total angel. Well, not here. Aria is egotistical and a total Diva, she has her goals and one of them is her revenge and by all that is sacred she'll get it.

Mielle is a great villain, she has grown a lot in her own pettiness and tactics since she was a child, and I really like that. Also, watching her suffer for being a terrible person is delightful.

The Male Lead (Asher) is also really cool, I like how he's both witty and friendly, and how much he truly admires Aria and her achievements.

The side characters are also pretty good, and they get a lot of focus because of their interactions with the main cast.

Again, The art is S T U N N I N G. Look at this:

All in all, an awesome read, 10/10, I love this a lot.

2. The Monster Duchess And Contract Princess (괴물 공작가의 계약 공녀)

Premise: Leslie's life was terrible, and always centered on her big sister, Eli. After a failed attempt of her family to grant Eli her sister's skills and knowledge, Leslie searches for the feared "Monster Duchess" in an attempt to survive.

Another one with incredible art AND incredible characters. Leslie is an absolute angel, and seeing her grow as a person is awesome.

The gender envy I feel with the Duchess is unbearable, she's utterly perfect. And the entire family is so dotting and loving and sweet, my little grinch heart can't take it.

She's perfection, really.

The plot keeps getting more and more mysterious, and I'm here for it!

I love each of the main characters a lot, and even the villains are well done and fuel your hatred.

Also, Eli Sperado and her Dad can choke on those black flames for all eternity.

Another 10/10, although I must warn anyone that wishes to read this that the translations sometimes are very spotty and messy, so it can be a bit annoying.

3. I'll be the Matriarch in this Life (이번 생은 가주가 되겠습니)

Premise: Firentia was a girl that died in Korea in her past life, and was reborn into an influential family as the illegitimate daughter of the third son. Her life was pretty terrible, with in the end, her family ending up in poverty and disgrace because of her uncles and cousins, while she was exiled from the family. After another accident, she wakes up in her past, now with a goal: Become the Lombardi matriarch and stop the other family heirs from bringing it to ruin.

Awesome art and Awesome plot number 3! This is so good, genuinely. Firentia is such an awesome plotter, and her goals and actions are very well developed.

The Male Lead is my baby and I shall protect him, and the side characters? Utterly stunning.

The twins are the cutest fucking shit, seriously. Like, look at these two?? I'm dead. Although, all the children are very, veeery cute.

I like how Firentia subtly manipulates things around her to get what she wants. It's similar to Aria, but she's much more mature and knowledgeable, and has a much less petty goal.

Guess what? 10/10. Yeah, I know, I'm terrible at grading, sue me.

4. The Twins Siblings' New Life (쌍둥이 남매의 뉴라이프)

Premise: Arien and Arjen were a pair of twins that died in Korea, and were reborn again as twins and as the Emperor's illegitimate children. Now, with only each other to trust, they must do their best to survive.

My current obsession. I really like this one. The art is not on the same level of pure Awesome like the ones before, but it's pretty good nonetheless.

The plot is pretty nice, but I must warn you: DO NOT expect them to act like adults. Honestly, just forget they're meant to be reborn in this world. They're just normal children and that's it. They act like children, and they think like children. Honestly, I think the author just wanted to make this story about them as children and their producer went and said to make them reincarnates because that Isekai shit is popular nowadays (And to justify they having memories of their newborn days). Seriously, just ignore it, the experience reading will be much better.

Other than that, the story develops nicely. The characters are all very good and the plot is very mysterious. I am holding myself back to not spoil anything, aaaaa.

There is also only one another thing that disappoints me: Arien is very clearly the MC. The story is told by her eyes and we only know what Arjen thinks or feels when he says it 9 or by subtext). I really wish it was more balanced, because they're both different people and have different perspectives, and also I really like Arjen.

I have absolutely no idea where this plot is gonna go, and honestly? I like it. It's very rare when I don't know how things are gonna develop because of other stories, so it feels very fresh.

The brothers are freaking awesome. I was so scared they were going to hate the twins and be petty, because of other manhwas that are like that, but they're so loving and sweet?? All hail these idiots. Also, Daddy is the biggest dumbass of all, this poor clueless man.

An 8/10, because of the complaints above. Still a good read, and I really like it, even with it's defects.

4. I'm A Stepmother, But My Daughter Is Just Too Cute! (계모인데 딸이 너무 귀여워)

Premise: A seamstress dies of overwork in Korea, and wakes up in the body of Abigail, the vain Queen, and the evil stepmother to the princess Blanche. Yes, It's like she stepped into the world of Snow White, and she must now do her best to live and.. Dote on Blanche with toys and dresses as much as possible?

Again with the awesome art and nice plot. Why are there so many manga with awesome art?? I'm so envious.

May all hail this crispy, delicious art.

Abigail is a whole mood, and I enjoy how she is inserted into the life of someone who had already lived and had a reputation. Her actions baffle a lot of the characters, as do her motivations, and I'm here for it.

The King has also an amazing backstory that's very tragic and yikes. I enjoy it, really. Not something you see in men's backstories that much.

Also, I'm kinda saddened by the fact the MC and the king are bound to become an actual couple. They would be such good platonic friends stuck in a political marriage. I was robbed, y'all.

Abigail greatest ambition is to get to design a dress for Blanche and have her wear it, and you know what? Good for her! Sometimes, it's good to have an MC that is not plotting against world at large.

Also, her mirror? Verite is simply perfect, I love this guy. I non-jokingly ship him with Abigail more than her with the King.

Blanche is a sweetheart, she deserves to be in my "adopted children" wall.

For now it's more of a Slice of Life than anything? But I also don't know what happens in the novels, so I'm just going to wait.

For the current lack of a grater plot, this gets a 7/10. Still pretty good and entertaining, especially for when you just don't feel like trying to understand deep plots with lots of elements.

5. Beware of the Brothers! (그 오빠들을 조심해!)

Premise: Another one of those "I lived my life and then wake up in the past." Hari was adopted by this family after the death of their only daughter, and although her parents love her, her 3 older siblings very much don't. She lives a miserable life in their hands, and when it's the night before she is to get married and finally escape her brothers, she wakes up in the past, and has to deal with them all over again.

Another nice art one, and the background characters are very nice, as is the MC.

But for me, it has a big problem. And that problem is the main ship. It's Hari with her eldest brother, Eugene. Even though they are not related and yadda yadda yadda, they were raised as such, and thus it bothers me. Also, Eugene is as plain as white bread and just as generic when seen as the Male Lead.

I ship Hari with Johan, even though I know it's not gonna happen, Ugh, the pain..

For me, the main point in this is Hari's relationship with her other siblings and the other background characters. I'm here for that wholesome sibling interaction. Her relationship with Erich, specially, is awesome. I love these two so much

It also kinda lacks a plot? Other than the relationship development and their story as a family, but again, I have no idea how they will develop this.

Also, pet peeve? Why do they keep using Oppa instead of translating it properly as brother? I get honorifics and stuff, but it's so annoying.

I give it a 6/10. Good characters and good relationships outside of the bloody incest thing, and it's a good enough way to pass the time.

There are two more that I've read, buut it's like 4am and I'm sleepy as all hell, so I'll just add it in a reblog or attached post later, and I plan on doing this for other future manhwas as well.

Impromptu Ramblings about the NEO:TWEWY Demo

In case y'all weren't aware, I've been a pretty big fan of TWEWY for a couple years now, and with the sequel coming out next month, the excitement I feel for this game is greater than ever :) I played the Demo for the first time yesterday, and following a couple views of some livestreams of others playing it, I felt like sharing my (very ramble-y) thoughts prior to the release of the full game. This post WILL contain spoilers for both TWEWY and NEO:TWEWY, so if you want to avoid those from now on, please block the tags: #twewy spoilers, #ntwewy spoilers, #neo twewy spoilers, #ntwewy, and #neo twewy ^_^ Oh, and if you wanna keep up with any other posts I make about my experience with this game, please refer to the tag "kat plays neo twewy" :)

-First things first: I have not watched the Final Trailer and I don't plan on doing so to avoid spoilers, especially after the pre-release era of KH3 where a lot of the later trailers spoiled a lot of the endgame content. That being said, I've seen some minor screenshots from the final trailer including what many believe to be characters from the original TWEWY, namely Shiki and Joshua. That is all I know about the Final Trailer and I would very much like to remain as blind as possible going into NEO :)

-The very first cutscene was quite ominous in the sense that this game is likely going to be about "changing fate" (a recently common theme in Squeenix games, which I do appreciate), perhaps leading off from the end of A New Day in the OG and trying to stop an Inversion of Shibuya. Also worth noting that A New Day had similar aspects in which the main character experienced "future visions" of tragic events, although in A New Day these events were not able to be changed, while in NEO it seems like one of the main "powers" our protagonist has is specifically to rewrite these events and avoid a "bad ending." Very interesting indeed!

-I really like the revamped comic book style dialogue scenes, it's much more fluid and modern, which is an excellent direction for the series to take!

-I would love to have an actual PokemonGO knockoff of Final Fantasy creatures, please Squeenix that would be incredibleeeeee

-Also the LINE stickers??? Are so cute???

-I would just like to point out that Fret is an absolute treasure throughout this entire demo, he's hilarious and I will protect him with my life

-UHHHH don't like that Fret picked up some Reaper Pins just out of nowhere.....or the fact that they're apparently popular all over Shibuya.............did y'all not learn anything from the OG game or what lmao

-Okay so when I first got the "curry or ramen" scene and heard NPCs talking about the new curry place replacing the old ramen place I became IMMENSELY distressed that Ramen Don was totally cut from the game because....well, Ramen Don is a King okay?? But I'm glad to learn that no, he didn't fall off the face of the earth, he's still in business and he's the one opening the curry restaurant lolol. PHEW, crisis averted!

-.....I don't like the sudden appearance of a Wall Reaper and being able to read NPC thoughts. Wtf happened when they left the ramen place??? Are they playing the Game alive somehow?

-Okay so I have my own theories about this "Swallow" character and what they're up to but considering this is only the Demo and I still Have No Idea What's Happening, I'm just gonna say that I think Swallow intentionally led Rindo and Fret to the Crossing so they could join the Game. I mean, add in the fact that Swallow still communicates with Rindo during the Game and you've got yourself a suspicious character right there lol

-"Hey they're shooting off fireworks!" Fret honey that's not fireworks oof (see also: "*laughs* I'm in danger")

-WOOOOOO way to traumatize Rindo right off the bat like that LMAOO

-The visuals for the intro are VERY GOOD, the song is pretty decent until it gets all "screamo" (which I absolutely cannot stand sorry lol)

-Shoka is every Customer Service employee ever and I respect that

-Susukichi went from being "meh" to "WOW THIS GUY IS FUN" in the span of 10 seconds and I also respect that (he is also built like an Absolute Unit which is hilarious)

-The Wall Reapers (and just Reapers in general) seem.....way nicer and more helpful this time around?? Like in the OG the Wall Reapers were SO RUDE gfhjgjdfkhn and yeah I'm sure we'll get some like that but the juxtaposition of the first Wall Reaper in the OG compared to the first one in NEO is insane.

-The puzzles are quite a bit more entertaining this time around even if it's generally the same "fetch quest" formula lol

-"Rindo's Group" way to go Fret HFKJDGHSDFKJ mans really left the default name in there lmao

-OKAYOKAYOKAY so to those who aren't aware I am a MASSIVE SIMP for Sho Minamimoto, he's my absolute favorite and I think about him daily. HIS INTRODUCTION IS. INCREDIBLE. I LOVE IT SM.

-GOD hearing him actually SPEAK FULL SENTENCES is just SO SURREAL I love this sm

-Also the remix of his theme???? NEO TRANSFORMATION????? IT'S SO GOOD????????? It's like gone from a Boss Theme to a more triumphant sounding theme and I am HERE for it (every version of Transformation is just INCREDIBLE and getting a new one is even better)

-I Love Him, Your Honor

-Also idk how exactly but it's kinda weird seeing Sho in the OG vs NEO, cuz while he's mostly the same Insane Math-Obsessed Catboy, he's.....calmed down quite a bit?? Like OG made a whole point of how poorly he cooperates with others (not to mention just being completely unhinged and trying to kill everyone), whereas here in NEO he's......actually kinda working with others??? HELLO???? Sir what happened to you and Neku during those 3 years I would love to know all about it

-I guarantee you Sho is still probably scheming shite and will likely pull some total insane BS later down the road, and I am very much looking forward to that. Also, is he looking for a certain Pin or something??? Cuz he keeps talking about different Pins and even mentions "this is just another Psych Pin" like he's actively looking for a Pin to do something with. Maybe it also has to do with the "latent powers of Players" thing he mentioned as well??? What is this dude UP TO oml (also is he in contact with Neku at all?? they're both technically fugitives at this point right?? WHAT HAPPENED AFTER A NEW DAY I AM BEGGING YOU)

-I seems like Sho ALSO has an idea of what's going on in this specific game (even if he won't admit it straightforward). Per his quote "The game's 142,857. Factor it out," he's essentially saying, "This game is a neverending cyle, figure out how to get out of it" (or at least that's what I got from his "cyclic number" nonsense lolol)

and it would be quite the squish to fit the both of u on the couch without falling off 

but that would just mean hongjoong could hold you as tight as he could 

and he'd finally be able to do so without worrying about having to get back to work

OC-tober Day 5: Throne

I'm trying to catch up but it's as always rather difficult .u." But I'm still hopeful, especially that this week's seems like it won't be so exhausting as whole previous month was to me. Anyway, I had so many problems thinking about who should I choose for this prompt, like y'all have no idea. Thankfully I figured it out in the end, even if it's another looser set of thoughts.

So, probably most people when think about the "throne" have some kind of royalty in mind, either king/queen or some kind of heir of any gender depending on setting and context. That was also my first approach to this theme and sadly I realized I have only one OC that's real heir to throne in their country. I decided to not write about it as I feel a little bit iffy about that plot, like it's not good enough for my liking, not planned and developed enough, too simple and maybe kind of cliche.

So instead of this kind of thinking I stepped few steps back and thought, well if I don't have any heir or ruler in my OCs, then who would be the closest to someone in position of king/queen/heir? That's where one of my less used OCs comes into play, but nevertheless one I'm kind of soft about. It's Jun, my sweet loyal knight and childhood friend of @ironic-artist's OC Kintaro. They're OCs created for already existing universe of MMORPG Elsword.

The game itself is a bit different than your typical MMORPG as you don't really create your own character but have to choose one of the existing heroes with usually three paths available from which you choose one in which you will develop on your way through the game, gaining new skills, equipment and new looks for character. Not the easiest background to create OC when all players who chose certain hero start the same but it was interesting to watch my dear Ironic find his way around that. Meanwhile, I decided to be "lazy" and I simply created a sidekick kind of character who's obviously on lower scale of power and abilities compared to canon heroes but it was just the thing I wanted from this dynamic, so I didn't mind.

You see, Kintaro starts with canon story about being a prince of one of the areas player encounters in the game, that simply speaking was invaded and taken over by demons, with King himself being corrupted by them to join the side of evil. Young prince has to flee to save his own life but swears to return one day and save his homeland (which actually happens later in the game as player proceeds through that area, clearing it out from mobs). It seems pretty cool from the hero's side of story, but as we get into the shoes of people of said land who not only lost their king but young heir too (cus he goes missing), atmosphere gets pretty scary and depressing.

My Jun in this setting starts just as one of the boys from noble families that send their children to capital to study (and train in case of boys) for the hope of gaining influences in there or even somehow win over sympathy of the royal family itself. Jun's parents weren't any different in this regard, sending their oldest child to the palace, for him to train to maybe become future royal knight, but obviously they never even dreamed that their son would somehow gain sympathy of the prince himself. Jun didn't as well, but back then as they both were just little boys they didn't think much about it, just playing around the palace's corridors, playing pranks on butlers and maids together and hiding in the gardens when Kin wanted to skip one of his many lectures and lessons. Pretty cute scenario, one of the reasons why I'm soft for these two qwq

However, Jun became more aware of the situation rather quickly, as young teen when his parents started to pressure him to be as close to the prince as he could so maybe he could have chances for better position and status in the future, as part of the court for example. But Jun didn't really feel like it, he grew to like that thought of someday being knight alongside his prince, who he cared so much about. He didn't want to pretend and fake their relationship for some kind of gain.

In the end, he didn't get to make that choice as this whole demon chaos started and Kintaro went missing for few long years. It was pretty heartbreaking for him, since suddenly all they imagined and planned, even if it were just childlike dreams, got shattered by bitter reality. Court was no longer what it used to be, control over the country was taken by generals and old advisors who simply struggled to hold capital together, not even mentioning whole country. Jun stayed in training and eventually was taken to old formation of the royal guard, but it seemed like it no longer had any specific purpose, without prince to lead them they were no different than other soldiers in the army. Title became just a figure of speech, rather than real status.

But, as you can imagine, everything changed when the prince comes back to stand as the leader of resistance against demons, with goal to take control over capital again, rescue his father and return country to the state it was in before everything went to shit. Poor Jun couldn't believe his eyes once he saw face so dear, but so changed by the flow of time, so with old habit he sneaked around and got in front of the royal tent in the field, only to be scared shitless by Kintaro himself who caught him red-handed...only to laugh at his reaction. From that moment on they start to rebuild their friendship to the point it was before and even beyond that ✨

We put a bunch of cc ideas (hair and clothes) in a discord server we have together and then work on the stuff together on call usually so each item is the way we both want me. Like for example i’ll be meshing the Ivy top while he works on texturing the ribbed version.  We also only do collabs when they happen, we didn’t plan AxA 2019 or this new set, mainly just made cc starting in May and wrapped it up in July to release in August. Then this time we started making stuff late December and got most of it done by the time I got done with my break. Having a planned collab/deadline makes stuff less stressful and the stuff usually turns out better imo

this is a late as hell reply i’m sorry. I think that you have texture where the glasses texture would be. Hair texture should only be in hair section or hat section (if you don’t want it hat compatible). Here is a UV map layout that I use for making hair textures. It shouldnt have anything to do with weights

I do use reshade when I take cc previews. It adds a bit of saturation to my sims and gives them some shadows under their chin/clothes. Nothing major. Also, myself and @imvikai came up with the tropical punch palette together.

I dunno what I’m doing but I have Feelings so let me rant about them, by me.

Some of y'all may not know that Fruits Basket is my favorite series on the planet– well you do now. That comes with a caveat of favorite manga, not favorite anime (that honor goes to either Noragami or Chihayafuru, with Madoka Magica as an honorable mention). I do also love the anime dearly! But comparing them is like apples and oranges, horses of different colors, etc etc, not least because the anime was made before the manga was barely halfway through. futile hope springs eternal for a full remake. So most of my feels rant will be manga-centric although the general feels apply to the anime, and uh there may be spoilers idk it’s been out for a long time???

The first volume came out in the US five days after my *deep breath* 15th birthday. I got it for the next year’s bday present from my big sis, aaaand that was when the gates of otaku/manga hell swallowed me up (I was somehow unaware that Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh were also Japanese pop culture, go figure.) I have no memory of how I found the anime– my anime-bittorrent-whateverthefuck knowledge was nonexistent but I don’t think it was airing live. I got the box set for some Christmas but that would’ve been after I was a massive fan so *shrug*

Anyway I watched the dub first and holy hell if I wasn’t planning to marry Yuki Sohma before then I definitely was after that, thanks Eric Vale. (I still have huge love for the dub cast fight me). Yun-chan was my first 2D crush and tbqh I’m still in love with him. Also I stg he’s the whole reason why pretty boys are a Big Thing of mine. And wait omg Shigure’s first appearance?! • stick figures of you and mingyu • the caption is probably something like • “skool sucks lolololol” • “kim mingyu smells” • “if ur reading this u r a loser” • you’re just a harmless troll really • bUT • this particular day when you two are hanging out in the library, mingyu suddenly slams your book closed • and you turn around to give him a piece of your mind bc what the heck mingyu who does that • until you see jeon wonwoo • aka the librarians assistant • aka the silent brooding type • aka one of the most handsome people on campus • with his oversized sweater and his large glasses that always slip off of his nose • he is really is handsome • too bad he’s so boring !!!! • ur convinced he went to some special librarian school where they sucked the fun out of him and made him into this super quiet boy who only makes an appearance when a book is being abused • you’re not here for it tbh • uNfOrtUnateLY wonwoo is mingyu’s other best friend so you two sorta kind of know each other • and he hates you so much lol • he KNOWS you are the one writing in his precious books but unless he catches you in the act he can’t technically prove it • BACK TO THE STORY • so wonwoo comes over and he’s shooting daggers at u like • “u just wrote in that book” • bc u were never one to back down from a fight you’re like • “maybe i did. maybe i didn’t. what you gonna do abt it????” • he does this semi cute huff and just frowns as he takes the book out of ur hands • “you wrote mingyu smells i know it’s you.” • cue mingyu: “i don’t smell!” • you try to tug the book back bc he can’t prove anything without it • “give me back the encyclopedia!!!!” • “lolololololololol no” • “wow i hate you” • “h8 u 2 m8” • this is basically how you two react on a daily basis • UNTIL ONE NIGHT • so mingyu had been cramming for exams and when he does this he kinda goes into Hibernating Bear Mode™ except instead of sleeping he does nothing but study • and the two of you had planned to watch neflix this particular night just to kind of distract yourselves from exams and whatever • but mingyu is nowhere to be found • and you check EVERYWHERE • you check his favorite coffee shop, the park he studies at, the gym he goes to when he’s stressed, the canteen, his dorm… you even called the 97 liners like “where tf is mingyu we have a marathon of bob’s burgers to watch” • and no one knows • but minghao gives you the best hint you can use at the moment “did you ask wonwoo?” • no way,,, there is no way u r gonna swallow ur pride and ask that … bookworm … to help u find mingyu • but thinking of wonwoo makes you think of the library, so you head on over hoping he had just fallen asleep and the security guard missed him • because at this point it’s reaching midnight and u aren’t even supposed to be out of bed,, let alone the campus library like come on • anyway the library isn’t open but you find a cracked window in the back to slide through • “mingyu!” you start whispering for your friend, hoping the security guard isn’t roaming the halls • you head over to the study second w all the tables and stuff • and lo and behold,,, mingyu isn’t there but instead it’s wonwoo • nd he’s just lazily walking thru the library w a squeaky cart, placing books back in their proper places • he’s tired, and in the dark you can see him cover his yawn with a sweater paw • ur heart does a lil somersault but like,,, u would never admit that bc you can’t find a dork attractive • esp not wonwoo, who is rumored to date books • you started that rumor but tbh you don’t doubt it • wonwoo finally catches you peaking around the corner and lets out a scream of terror bc he thought you were some kind of ancient book demon or smth • “wHaT tHe heCK!!!!!!” • you fall on the floor dYing bc his reaction was so funny • he looked like a startled deer tbh • “that was hilarious” you’re still giggling • and despite his absolute Hatred™ for you,, wonwoo finds himself blushing bc of how carefree you are in the moment • so … he gets kinda quiet and tries to become brooding again because that’s his Brand around here and there’s no way you’re going to break it with a simple giggle • at least… you aren’t going to know you did • “what do u want?” • after u sober up it gets kinda serious bc you’re still rlly worried for mingyu “is mingyu here? i can’t find him?” • “mingyu? i haven’t seen him.” • you let out a distressed sigh bc mingyu is a scatterbrain and he genuinely could’ve gotten lost around campus or smth •you sigh in distress: “he was supposed to come to my dorm a few hours ago and i can’t find him. ive looked everywhere.” • and as you speak wonwoo is suddenly,,, really disappointed,,, but he doesn’t know why,,, • “oh really? i didn’t know you two were dating…” nd he just kind of kicks himself mentally bc why wouldn’t you date mingyu honestly? • he’s handsome, he’s buff, he’s a great cook… wonwoo should’ve seen it coming tbh • but then you crinkle your nose like “dating? ew! i’d rather date you than mingyu and that’s saying something.” • even tho it was an insult and he’s slightly offended, wonwoo still felt a bit of hope blooming in his chest that for some reason just got bigger whenever you smiled at him • he also was blushing pretty dang hard but we aren’t going to talk abt that • anyway back to the topic at hand • wonwoo scratches the back of his neck and nervously suggests looking together. “we can try the kitchen if you haven’t looked there.” • “the what?” • “the kitchen. yknow, mingyu goes there every once and awhile to make food and wind down. he’s got a key and stuff so i don’t think the cooks mind him doing it.” • this is all very new information to you • but it’s the best bet so you agree. • you let wonwoo come with you because you don’t know the way • and also he’s rlly cute and kinda nice when he’s not yelling at you for an overdue book • but you would never tell him that ofc • as you both walk over there • nd it’s sort of awkward so you try to start a conversation • “isn’t the library closed? why were you stocking books?” • wonwoo smiled embarrassingly, “well i was actually just pretending to stock books. you see, there was a new shipment of books coming in and i wanted first pick of all the good ones before anyone else got to them.” • you giggle. bc,,, of course he would • “so you don’t mind breaking the rules, as long as it’s for books.” • “yeah and you always go against books which is why i can’t be associated with you.” • “well it gets boring in the library,” you whined. “can’t there be legos or coloring books to play with when students want to wind down but don’t want to read?” • “what are you, five? UGH I THOUGHT WE WERE MCFUCKING MERGING JFLADKJFALSD ANYWAYS I GUESS NOT!!!!!! I'm happy with how tribal panned out but GOD this is an ugly turn of events! At least I don't have school tomorrow and the vote went how it should have. I was in auditions for over four hours tonight and I wasn't able to game talk like AT ALL but I love my allies and they covered it for me. I'm so happy! I think that maybe after THIS vote we'll merge or something... I don't know. Why didn't we merge at 13 if Duncan's power is like??? You know??? You can run and hide from final 13 to final 10 idk it's just weird. And ugh I just,,,,, I WANT TO WIN THIS CHALLENGE SO I DONT HAVE TO VOTE OUT RUTHIE OR KEVIN FDKAKFSD this sucks. I like them both. I'd rather Kevin than Ruthie but that might be difficult because of like,,, how this vote went down lmao. You all know me as the heartless meanie who lost his shit multiple times during Azores, but right now I'm gonna fucking cry I don't wanna have to vote anyone off this tribe. Like I thought I felt bad before making the move against Madison or having to give up on trying to save Jack, but this is the absolute HARDEST thing that's happened yet. Even if it's Charlotte because apparently she wants us to vote her out, I'm still gonna be crying during this one. This sucks.

Someone from Loronha is winning this game. No ifs, no buts. We all fought SO HARD to win. So hard. And we all got so many points, despite the odds and just stuff being against us. With my strategy, any plans I had of voting against Dana/Will/Cameron? they are gone. I love them all SO MUCH, and have no intention of voting them out. Thank GOD we won that challenge. I did SO MUCH and if we had lost I would’ve probably wanted Kevin to go home since he contributed the least to the competition at least from what I saw. And also, not to toot my own horn or anything, but I did SO MUCH for our tribe. Like whenever I was at auditions or sleep they were like,,,, we need Emily!! Like? That’s a good feeling. There's something especially depressing about the fact that Charlotte is so willing to go, whether it's because she really is truly over the game or she has stuff going on... It's just sad watching a pseudo-quit like this happen, especially coming off of last night's outright devastation. If y'all thought the Emily boot in Azores was sad (when literally everyone cried on live cam), then this is gonna be even worse - idk how but it's worse. But looking at the bright side, at least it's gonna get me through to the next round.

Charlotte has asked/offered to go tonight which I really respect and appreciate. I am so devastated to see her go though. Charlotte is an icon, a legend, an inspiration. She is truly the most justified all star in this cast. Come merge, the Loronha tribe is literally going to be F6. Hi I feel awful about everything and this game is making me have a heart which should honestly be a crime. As long as I am not being tricked by everybody on my tribe (always a possibility, I am impossible to blindside), I think Charlotte is going home on her own accord tonight. I feel SO bad about it, but at the same time I think she would have gone home either way (idol plays aside), which I'm not sure she expected. Also i'm feeling kind of good about the game right now because I think the dynamics on both tribes are good for me going into a merge situation. 1) Will and Duncan aren't close, and I'm close with both of them. 2) Duncan is close with Zach, who I am close with, and will use for information and then vote out expediently so I can win (probably tbd). 3) I still have my alliances from both my tribes with most members in tact (rip Autumn a quen) 4) I didn't even have to lie to anybody yet.. I have no idea whether I’ve done a confessional or not this round and ideally it’s not my last one. So Loronha finally lost again after WE DIDNT MERGE AT 13! *side eyes emoji*  and honestly the tribe’s moral was shot, right in the gut. Like they all felt so bad about losing it must’ve beeen a rush to be a part of that challenge. Lots of emotions are out and people are in their feels. Apparently Charlotte is very okay with going home and says she has no ulterior motives. I wanted Cameron out first but if Charlotte is willing to go and wants us to vote her out, who am I to stand in her way? I ain’t shit. And I know if I was in that position I’d prefer to go home too. I just don’t think she was as invested as she should’ve been and she realizes that. It’s just sad and I hope she’s not fronting and that we Merge soon.

I THINK I'M MAKING MERGE GIRLIES!!!!!!!! So, with that, I'm going to talk about all the people left in the game and my opinions on them for merge because I've been slacking on confessionals this round!

Okay starting with Ali: Ali has an idol and I'm hoping I'm the only one that knows that still. I'm a little worried not being on his tribe right now because 1. he could build closer relationships with people that are not me 2. he could tell other people about his idol 3. he could tell other people I know about his idol. 3 is bad because then people will know Ali and I are very close. Though I haven't been discreet about any of my relationships in the game thus far, I guess another very out there tie to a player will just? Happen? I guess? I don't know. I'm definitely going to spill all the tea from our 3-3-1 6-0 vote because he's going to get the tea eventually and I'd rather it be from me. I also wonder how close Ali and Duncan are right now because I remember them being a bit rocky before the joint tribal, so who can be sure? I can't.

Ashvika: Really sweet girl and I'm glad we got Autumn out. Ashvika was wanting to save Autumn during the joint tribal and that means they were close, especially because they just played together. I figure Ashvika and Duncan are close because of what I know from Duncan. I wonder if that relationship is still in tact or if Ashvika is now closer to Will and Dana. I remember them being close for some reason. This could be inaccurate but? Idk.

Charlotte: I honestly don't know where I stand with Charlotte! I have no idea where her allegiances are and like? I just really don't know. I remember her and Zach being close but now that they're on different tribes, I don't know where she stands. And I also know that Duncan low key wanted Charlotte out in the earlier days of this game so like... she could be going out next because of her lack of allies and Duncan kind of wanting her out. I don't know how much power Duncan has over there. But also, Charlotte got Jack's vote last time Elaenia went to tribal council so... it's likely? I guess? I don't know. We'll see.

Dana: I don't really know much about Dana other than her and Will are tight. And Zach. And probably Ashvika. That's going to have to be a group I either 1. work with or 2. look out for when we merge. I can just like... sense it. But I also think that Will and Ali are close and then Dana and Zach are close and they're my closest allies so like??? Ali and Zach can probably keep me safe or at least differ targets off my back if my name happens to come up. And I like that!

Duncan: I love Duncan. He has an idol. Idk who else knows other than Ali and I. I hope that's it. Oh wait this is me remembering mid-type that I told Lily about Duncan's idol lol. FUNNY EMILY anyways. Lily probably won't tell. I hope she doesn't. Whew. I think Duncan should be okay 1. because he has an idol 2. because he like??? has a good social game?? I'm hoping to see him in merge.

Kevin: Honestly don't know how I feel about him because we saved him last round but he voted for Lily the round before and like... wtf I don't like that? fjkldsfalsd I thought he and Lily were TIGHT and then he just goes around and votes Lily out like WOW idk man. I know he's my secret santa but he's SKETCHY!!! If we were to have gone to tribal this round, I would've wanted to vote him out. I know that's flip-floppy because we saved him last round and kept Ruthie out of the loop but that's the truth lol

Lily: My absolute fav person ever!!! In a game sense, I would say I'm like ... 4th closest to her. Zach, Ali, and Owen are above her. But everything else I love her! She has that vote negator and I'm happy she FINALLY got something good from the arch*p*l*go!! 

Cameron: Love him love him love him! I feel like we won't work together in this game though. Not sure why I just... don't see it happening? It might. We shall see. He reminds me to take my medicine every night. I <3 him. And for the short period of time we've been together in this game I've been decently honest with him. He was one of the few people I told before the Madison vote that I was gonna vote for Autumn rather than Madison just because she's my friend and it hurts :( so I'm hoping he's willing to vote with me even though he thinks I'm a major snake. God.

Owen: I was doubtful about him at first but I think I've made a genuine connection with him! I was like high key scared he was gonna flip on Lily/Zach/Myself for Autumn/Kevin/Ruthie but he DIDN'T and I'm so happy about that. I really like him and he's been very helpful in challenges so I'm thankful for that!! He's so sweet and we have a snapchat streak and anyone that puts up with my streaks is a blessing

Ruthie: I really love Ruthie and keeping her out of the loop last vote was really something dksjfkasld I'm sad that it happened but like we needed to just in case an idol was played or something. I hope she's willing to work with me later down the line but I think our relationship definitely needs some healing.

Will: Love Will and I really hope we can ACTUALLY work together this game! I know things were messy with the Madison vote but I'm hoping that that doesn't get in the way of our game relationship. Though me fucking things up with Ruthie might also hinder it... I'm not sure. I think Ali and him are close and I'm close to Ali so like? Yeah keep me safe Will xoxo. Will is also definitely close to Dana since she exposed some of his tea during the scavenger hunt. I would never expose tea from any of the people I'm not close with you know? yeah they're close. Her draft name in Azores was "Dana I want Will to win" and I remember that because I had to read it like ten times to finally understand what it said

Zach: I love Zach so much and he's my number one ally despite me not like telling him about either one of Ali or Duncan's idols lmao. Ugh I just love Zach so much and I trust him with ??? MY LIFE????? I'd go to rocks for him I love him. He's so honest with me (I think) and I just love him omgjdklfjaskldflasd god I love Zach he's great he's so sweet I can tell we're going to stay friends after this which is my favorite thing about him!! AHHHHH!!

Episode 5 “I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON” -L.A.

Well I don't know what is going on with these other tribes, I'm confused how they went from voting a rookie to voting a veteran which makes me think I can't just rely on reconnecting with my veterans which means I might as well go ahead and lock in some alliances with the rookies on my tribe, who honestly I want out because they kinda annoy me. But I've learned a lot from my past experiences, I really feel like this is a redemption season for me, I have to suck it up sometimes that people rub me the wrong way, I have to play a game, lie to people, align myself with whoever will get me farther in this game. I'm not bringing the chaos this time I'm bringing the sneaky snaky self, hiss hiss. I've officially placed higher than 17th like I did last time which is good and right now I'm eager to make it to the merge so my game can really just explode and I can take control.

*SCREAMS* THAT WAS SO STRESSFUL, FUCKIN' HELL. AFTER I SAW MY NAME ONCE I WAS LIKE WELP I'M GOING HOME BUT NAH MONTY IS ACTUALLY TRUSTWORTHY. Looking back, I feel stupid for considering to work with Linus, but he was the person I talked to the most so I wanted to work with someone I liked. I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON. (that's a lie, i'll probably make a rookie mistake later on) But I can pretend I'm older and wiser for now.

I found out that Linus went home during my 11-hour to home from college today, so I was planning out some confessionals outlining my next-step strategies because Linus was a close and valuable ally for me in this game and someone I really liked, but I watched the Survivor episode I couldn't watch live as soon as I got home and... all I want to say is that this puts things in perspective for me, truly, about how this is a game, and the tears I cried tonight, in my opinion, will have a profound impact on how I will play out the remainder of this game. I was reminded in the most dramatic way possible how this is all a game. Especially being someone who has, at times, blurred the distinction between real life and game in things that I've said and done, I'm looking at things through a completely different outlook after what I just witnessed transpire on national television. This is a game. This is literally just an online game. I'm going to make sure that I keep people reminded of that, that the experience can be as fun and enjoyable for people as possible, and that should I come close to blurring the line between game and life again... that I think back to the raw emotions this evening incited among the Survivor community and I remember how low-stakes this all is. I hope that this experience brings all of us in this game together so that we may approach the remainder of the season with respect, passion, and fun. I'll get back to you on strategies when there are less tears running down my face.

we won reward and slither.io is fucking terrible so fuck that and let's catch y'all up with my strategies Linus went home, which was truly a wake-up call. Linus was someone I trusted and someone that I was fully aligned with and vibed with, so losing him - potentially at, as Zakriah suspects, Monty's hands - was rough. I've been playing this game on Easy Mode; we've been on cruise control since Day 1, going to Tribal Council once where Chrissa self-voted herself out 10-0, and have been immune ever since. This is literally my longest immunity streak in Tumblr Survivor history - 3 rounds - and it hit me that I haven't even been playing. No votes, no alliance-building and strategic developments... I'd been just winning everything and not worrying about jack squat. And then I see that Linus' ass is gone and suddenly my ass is grass - I've got one less ally in this game. I got woke up real hard and have now attempted to get out of cruise control and start course-correcting. I approached Dana with all this, because she's my closest ally in this game, and she agreed. On my way home yesterday, I was planning it out - form positive working relationships with the rookies because, if we keep winning, why not feel good with them in a potential swap or merge? I was planning on getting info out of Willow, and striking a deal with Allie. Instead, after having more convos with Willow, I elected to strike a deal with her; it's not official, but we've both got each others' backs, which loosely means that we're working together. I'm happy that Willow is the one I've formed a stronger relationship with because I truly see Allie as the bigger threat; we can boot Allie if we need to, and I can keep Willow around as my Katie. In Malaysia, I had a great and honest partnership with Katie; we were each others' ride-or-die, Katie because I was loyal to her and me because I felt like I could beat Katie in the end. I've got the same vibe about Willow here. She can be my partner and extra vote to the end of this game where I'll beat her - it sounds good. Now, I wanted to form good relationships with both Allie and Willow for two reasons: if we keep winning they're good allies in the advent of an inevitable future swap or merge, and if we do lose, then they won't be targeting me. Now, should we lose, my thought was to get rid of bigger rookie threat Allie, and should we lose again, take out Karen; the Karen/Monty/Lexi obvious trio shouldn't have a chance to reunite, but at the moment Karen is still a number with me, even if we hardly talk. I could be convinced to oust Karen first because Allie, while a bigger threat, might offer more future connections for Dana and myself, while the only connections Karen has are to a well-known solid clique that may have already turned against the veterans. The time will come to decide that. Until future events come to pass, my head is now back and placed firmly and square on my shoulders. No more easy mode, no more cruise control, and hopefully more premeditated and beneficial progressions.

This is legit so fucking weird. In the google docs, somebody searched there... and if they did they should have the idol... but I HAVE THE IDOL???... So someone's fabricating where they're searching??? On paper, that kind of makes sense; lie about where you've actually been to hide places that you haven't searched and leave open places where you know it's not, so your alliance can search there and not find it. That makes sense. But this edit was literally the second edit in the doc. It doesn't make any sense at all how that edit is in there and i have the idol rn. I'm legit sketched the fuck out LOL but... I lied to Dana that i searched the pile of ash (lol) and that I found the clue that I really found days ago there, and she's on a tear now. On the topic of vets being shady, she thinks that Karen's out to get her. now that i've got the idol and am feeling ballsy... karen's a lot more expendable to my conceited ass now than she was when i was vulnerable. i'll take an idol, allie, and the risk of allie's people being out to get me over an idol, karen, and a trio getting allowed to reunite. letting karen stay definitively gives a clear-cut clique the chance to reunite. there's nothing clear-cut about allie, but even if there was unbeknownst to me, i've got the idol as leverage and protection. without that protection, i would've taken the known of karen/monty/lexi over the unknown quantity of allie's allegiance, but now... karen's ass is grass. But this is all conjecture. The immunity challenge is Jeopardy!, with only one tribe representing. Kendall and I fucking dominated this challenge in Malaysia and I'm optimistic that I could do so again, so I'm thinking our chances of going to Tribal Council this round are less than likely. But if we do... Karen :~) maybe u should've tried talking to me or dana ever lol

Okay so last night after we got the reward, I didn't get an idol clue, but I decided to look because it's smart to look every round. Anyway I went to the sunken ship again because me and Allie have been looking in there, and I went to the flooded control deck, and then to the old map, and I found a clue, I'm so excited! Ok so Im ready to start throwing literally everything at the wall. I have a pretty cray cray move planned, hope it works out but atleast I would go down fighting.

Because Monty flipped on the vets - I already knew it, but Mitchell confirmed it after the jeopardy challenge - Aromal is screwed tonight and we got a rat in our midst. What Mitchell is thinking is since Monty is so quick to vote out a vet, we should scoop in Allie and Willow and take out some of his allies in a potential second swap situation. It's put me in a pickle bc I do want to work w Karen but I know I probably can't bc of the shit I've talked about Lexi already. So if worse comes to worst and we have to vote out a vet it'll be one of those three.

So while I am excited about winning immunity again I am kinda peeved that fricking Ulawa lost again and I can be expecting another vet to go which means the veterans are going to be down in numbers which I don't want because I want to be in a position where I can have both nuTemoana and the Veterans to work with, but if the rookies get the numbers than I may be at the mercy of the rookies in nuTemoana who I have been building bonds with slowly even though I will quickly get rid of any of them. I kinda wish Makira would like throw it or something because they have 4-2 over there and like again I find myself sitting back and waiting for the game to reach a point where I can be making moves and taking control. But if winning immunity every time is what gets me to the merge than I guess I'm okay with that because that would give me plenty of time to hide just how deceptive I can be.

So a lot has happened since the last tribal. Aro was our target - until he revealed that he has an idol, and showed us screenshots. Leaving us at a huge disadvantage, considering me, Monty, and L.A. have an alliance together and Aro is our only conceivable target. So Monty and I came up with a plan. Me and L.A. are voting for Aro, and him and Aro are voting for L.A. That way, if he plays his idol, L.A. goes home and not me or Monty (even though we don't really want her gone, at this point, we may not have a choice). And if he doesn't play his idol, me and Monty are the deciding votes and get rid of Aro instead. Our biggest worry is that Aro votes for Monty instead, meaning it ties between Monty and L.A., and then if Aro really wants Monty gone I have to make the decision of either voting out my closest ally, or going to rocks and risking myself. Actually no, if Aro plays his idol he'd be immune at rocks. So there's no way I wouldn't vote for Monty in that situation, because I'd be the only person pulling rocks. So really, this hinges on Aro doing what he's telling us he's doing, which is something really risky to bet on. I told Aro that I wanted to vote for L.A., just to solidify his vote for her. I really hope this goes as planned, and that Aro doesn't play his idol.

I need a better social game, coming into this game I knew it would be my tragic flaw and now I think I might go home because of it. It's already been established that Monty was unsure about me because we didn't talk a lot, and we don't. Daisy and I only became close-ish, after the Lily vote because we both felt in danger and needed someone to have our back but now she has an idol and better social game. The only person I talked to regularly, I voted out because I wasn't able to trust him and now I'm stuck with these people I am not close with at all and I get the feeling that they are close. Daisy and Monty seem to talk a lot and I'm not sure about Aro and where he stands. I feel like if I don't do something I'm going home tonight, Aro says he has an idol which I believe and Daisy and Monty are just saying lets vote Aro anyways, and it makes no sense. If he has an idol then he's going to use and since they aren't worried I'm clearly the target so now I have to do something to try and save myself. I'm worried about coming off paranoid, too aggressive, or untrustworthy but I have to do something, otherwise I feel like I'm just letting myself go home without a fight.

I talked to Aro, and basically told him everything. I wasn't wrong about possibly going home tonight, Daisy put my name out to him. Apparently, I'm good at challenges and that scares her. TBH, all I do is put effort in, I can go hard like I did with the word game, but besides that I haven't put that much effort in. I considered down playing when I first started but whats the point? I'd rather be seen as a strong challenge player rather than someone who doesn't try. At this point I can only hope Aro doesn't flip again, so we'll see how this all works out.

Okayyy I actually might have found an opening. Heres whats goin down tonight Daisy and Monty are voting me to try and flush my (very fake) idol. However they dont wanna be at the receiving end of my (very fake) idol so they told me to vote L.A . I figured out what they were planning and went straight to LA. We are now voting Daisy because she thinks both Daisy and Monty are voting for her. Oh and apparently Daisy has an idol too so if we manage to get rid of her we might send her packing with the idol. So the vote is gonna be 2-2 and L.A HAS to draw rocks or else Im screwed. PLEASE LET THIS WORK

I kinda feel bad for Ulawa since they've lost every immunity challenge. I'm also worried that after tonight's tribal there might be another tribe swap since Ulawa would be down 3 members (I think?). And if there is a tribe swap and I end up on a different "beach" then that'll be a little scary bc I'm so close to finding this idol. I know I used to complain about the first tribe swap but everyone on Makira has been really nice to me, even though I came into the swap down 4-2. Anyway I should I probably stop assuming that there might be a swap because I'll never know until it actually happens.
