...for reasons that are probably obvious to anyone who has seen Eden and knows how thirsty I am for Andy. xD Really, the entirety of Andy's existence is a favorite moment of mine, because he's just... Wow. I love his look, I love his accent (I am so weak for the Aussie accent <3), and I love that he's such a complex character with both good and bad sides.

When Billie Lourd suddenly comes up and starts touching his nipple and he starts squirming and making a face, but she's short so the camera doesn't catch her, and he's just "That's Billie playing with my nipple". xD I love both him and Billie very much. Nah cuz omg I’m glad someone else said it too! Cody Fern like he’s a great actor and all but I feel he tries too hard to be the new ‘Evan’ in Murphy’s shows? Hopefully I don’t come off as a dick or anything but he just gives me those vibes. I did love him as Xavier in 1984 have yet to see American Horror Stories. Who knows maybe my thoughts on him will change, but that’s my take on him.

Cody Fern as Tiergan ?

uhhhh ok so. um. i am literally so bad at fancasting i'm sorry. but i looked it up and my brain is not saying that's tiergan right off the bat? like if that's what we got in the movie (that i honestly dunno will ever come out) i wouldn't be. like. upset? about it? looking at the pictures of cody fern w/ long hair specifically as i make this analysis.

and how is marion as a student, academically? is he succesful, which type he is in the class & school?

Ok, here's the thing.

Ever since he could remember, Marion always had a complicated relation to school and the educational system.

Repeated his troisième (last year of French middle school - 9th grade for equivalent?) but dropped out before finishing this second attempt as he developed emotional and physical distress and anxiety. A late school refusal due to a traumatic event that occurred in his family.

It was preferable for him to completely quit the classic academic system for some time.

For three whole years more exactly.

He never liked school. Not because he was the worst student. Good behaviour, got along with most teachers, had friends and no one was stupid enough to bully him as he was just as friendly as he was strong.

Still, he didn't like school. This system never worked out for him. Marion didn't want to spend his day sitting at his desk, writing page after page full of concepts and ideas that didn't really click with his brain - he always found his writings incoherent and obscure. The words he wrote never really did justice to his thinking. Studying like this was more exhausting than anything.

After withdrawing, he fully immersed himself in his training and dedicated his energy to his duties as an apprentice hunter.

Marion has a heap of academic shortcomings but doesn't let people notice it. His humility and charming smiles do a wonderful job in concealing the real intellectual panic he's in when someone asks him the date of the fall of the Berlin Wall or to explain Thales's theorem-

When he came back, starting high school the year of his 18th anniversary ...Dear lord it was tough. He struggled to have a passing mark...Not that he swotted though. He was doing the bare minimum and avoided homework like pest.

However, he always reads the books suggested in the syllabus for his literature class. His marks are not amazing but that's an improvement.

For language classes, he studies English and Italian. He's actually rather good but only because both of his parents are Italian descent. He knows how to speak but dude, don't ask him to explain to you any grammar or linguistic concept. He. doesn't. freaking. know.

As for English... like many of us, he essentially learnt through films, music, series and by trying to imitate Cody Fern and Andrew Garfield.

But don't ask him about history, geography or sciences. Really, don't expect anything from this man. The only thing he was good at was finding historical figures' lookalike and making puns in coding programmes. That's about it.

He enjoys P.E (always feels a bit frustrated as he's used to have a much more intense training), art class and literature class, those are peaceful moments even if he's clearly not the best in the latter and often slacks on his homework in the former.

However there is one subject no one expected him to be good at.

Latin.

He's not good. He speaks Latin like he was the fucking reincarnation of Petronius.

His parents made him learn it since he was five. Mass was in Latin and Marion was an altar boy.

But he is only good at translating texts - His teachers were flabbergasted by how poetic and faithful to the original text his translations were.

All the civilisation part was swept away. His brain can't proceed in properly remembering dates or names.

He is the kind of people who can reel out sentences from books he read 6 years ago, gives them a colour palette or associates it to certain smells and shapes - but he might forget the title.

Based on all of that, Marion can be considered as a weird popular, street smart, artsy kind of slacker.

☕️the ballad of songbirds and snakes movie lol

bonnie i love you so much lol it's like you know EXACTLY WHAT I'M WILLING TO BE SALTY ABOUT. SO OKAY UHHHHHHHHHH

I think it's absolutely whack that they're turning this book into a movie for a few reasons:

The main reason being, the YA Dystopian Craze died even before Mockingjay Part 2 was released. From all the video essays I've watched discussing this very subject, I think it's safe to say it died somewhere around late 2014. There was just this insane influx of YA Dystopia all at once that it sort of burned general audiences out very very quickly.

Because, when you boil them all down, they're really all the same thing at their core. The beginnings are always the most interesting part, because that's where all the unique worldbuilding occurs. But once you get into the belly of the franchises, they're all the same thing: taking down the evil government. So when you get that over and over and OVER, it quickly becomes predictable.

Mockingjay Part 2 suffered from the death, what with grossing the lowest out of the franchise (and not even getting an official soundtrack lmao STILL salty about that one). But I suppose that's better than Divergent just straight up not getting their final movie period.

Soooo for them to drag all of this back out in 2023/2024? I don't know if they think a large break will be beneficial or what, but I can't imagine opinions have shifted too much.

Another reason is that I genuinely cannot see this movie being accessible for general audiences. Like, I can see it being a movie that people see out of curiosity maybe. Like "Oh, I recognize this franchise from years ago, let me go see what this is about." But I can't see it getting great acclaim like THG or Catching Fire did?

Along those lines, the book is just so?? Longwinded and also extraordinarily dark in places? So I don't know how a lot of it is going to translate onto a screen. If Hollywood was too chicken to show Katniss' burn scars, and Peeta's lost leg, and Katniss' mental decline at the end of Mockingjay, are they really going to show all the brutal deaths and what have you in this? I WOULD BE GENUINELY SURPRISED. Like, maybe they'll treat it differently because it's a standalone movie and not part of an uwu twilogy, but I would still be shocked at the tonal shift. And salty, of course lmao.

And finally, it's just wild to me because I hardly saw anyone talk about this book. There was hype surrounding it for like, a week around its release, but then it seemed to fall into the mainstream void very quickly. A lot of my olden days THG friends haven't even read it yet, nor do they plan to JSKDHSLK. And this video sums up the more common reactions I've seen, as well as a good chunk of my opinions towards the book as well jsldkjsldks.

I don't know if they're banking on nostalgia or curiosity or what for this, but I would genuinely be shocked if it did well across the board. I will say that I'm happy they cast a women of color to play Lucy? And the actor they cast for Snow looks pretty similar (not as similar as Cody Fern though smh lol that's still my fancast). Buuuuut idk man idk. Maybe I'll be entirely wrong lol who knows! From my current perspective though, it just seems like it's going to be a flash in the pan.

who’s your ideal fancast for katniss, peeta, gale, lucy g, snow and sejanus?

Hello there! Oh wow. I am pretty awful about fancasting, but let's see...

Katniss for sure is Rachel Zegler. I honestly switch often with Katniss, but I've been pretty set on her and love the fact Rachel can also sing and is biracial like Katniss.

Snow is LMAO Donald Sutherland. And yes. Even young Snow was played by him in my head when reading, which...made for an interesting time...

but also Cody Fern when I was reminding myself Snow is *young* in that book

As for the others, it's harder to say. I don't think I've really found a specific person that screams them.

For Peeta, honestly, as weird as it sounds, how @andretries draws Peeta is *exactly* how I picture him. I don't know why I picture him as a lankier guy than I'm sure he is in the books, but he's also *super* tall in my head, like pushing 6'6" by the time he's done growing with Katniss being super smol and has to pull him down to kiss and/or he has to pick her up to kiss. This is a close second. I basically view Peeta with a very 1940s/1950s look.

Gale...I have no clue how to describe how I see him. I know I've never seen it, though. 🤷🏼‍♀️

For Lucy Gray, the only person that comes close enough to how I imagine her is Zendaya? Lucy Gray has a super cunning yet peaceful hippie-ish look to her that I don't know how to find face-wise lol

For Sejanus ...I forget he exists because I really ever think of Lucy Gray and Maude Ivory (usually both either dead or old) to beef up Katniss' family, but I think this guy gives off those vibes. Is he a redhead? He is now

Skills : knows how to fight in combat, sword fighting, leader of war, commander, same fighting skills as Ben. Brings balance in the court of Royal, later rey becomes very powerful.

Rey - " Ben, my love I'll help you "

Rey whispered in Ben's ear softly ,To Ben it was like heaven was singing to him "come my love and warm my bed tonight I need you inside of me , fell me with your seed , come warm our bed my love ".

Young Ben - favorite and love interest to the empress, also the lost prince of alderaan.

After living in the palace and enjoying everything what the palace gives , Ben is starting to adopt palace life which was similar to his palace life in Alderaan but different. Ben learn to behave , play instruments, horse riding, calligraphy, and how to fight . Even though Ben learned many things but still didn't get along with no one within the mens bed chambers . the father of the empress hated him but doesn't care because he has the empress Rey ,his rey.

Ben had fallen in love with the empress and also the empress . Ben always saw the empress pass with her servant and maids she is beautiful, compassion, fearless , and free spirit , but there was something that pulled him towards her .

one day the empress called him to her chambers he was the chosen one from all the young and beautiful men in the palace. Servants prepared him for the special night, Ben was excited he never thought the empress wanted him in her chambers. The night came Ben and the empress had their first passionate night together .

"Making love to you Ben is the most amazing thing in this world , let us stay like this forever ."

" so be it than my empress ." Ben admire Rey's body he stare at her body he wanted to remember every single freckle in her body mark .

"I love you rey I love you since the moment I saw you ." Ben brushed his fingers against Rey's lips

"My musk , my amber ,my everything,rey ." Rey kissed Ben and brought Bens body closer to hers , she wanted to make love again and again that night it was her first night with a man .

Ben spend two nights with the empress , Everyone in the palace was shocked and couldn't believe it no man has lasted that long especially on Thursday nights which are special in jakku . Thursday are considered a special day where a woman can bear a child . The news was brought to lor san tekka who didn't like it a bit of it . he had to get rid of that alderaan slave quickly as possible so he planed to bring jade the prince of yavin to jakku . jade once was the secret love interest of the empress rey when she didn't rule yet . lor san tekka won't allow that man to become the ruler of jakku not that Alderaan slave .

jade is a handsome prince of yavin who is a good fighter also the next prince of the throne. He was sent away by the late empress , Rey's mother who thought he wasn't good enough for her daughter . he is also best friends with Poe and the favorite of Lord san tekka who wishes jade to be his future son in law . jade is Ben's worst nightmare and will make his life miserable , and tormente him .

" attention !" , announced one of the gards everyone stood up and bowed , Ben was up in the balcony looking at the young man who had come .

" prince jade of yavin ! " , a young man with blonde Sandy hair with handsome features and green gray eyes they almost looked like cat eyes . he pass through the hall somehow Ben felt the atmosphere changed . jade was elegant it reminded of him in his prince days in alderaan . as jade walk through the hall he looked at each one of the men with hate , he looked up at Ben with pride and hate ,of course this made Ben too stand with pride as well .

" who is he ?", Ben asked to Phasma , she looked at him worry because she knew what this meant , might as well tell him .

" that is His Majesty prince jade of yavin and was the secret love of the empress. " said Phasma who rised an eyebrow and saw Ben's fist clenched tightly she could see the White of his knuckles ,she knew war between those two was going to be the most dangerous one .

" what is he doing here ? Is this a game ? I'm no one's fool phasma ! .

" enough ! Remember where you are and your place don't be ridiculous , the empress can be with any one she want those are the rules ".

" no she won't ,that I can assure you phasma". Ben went to his chambers which was given to him as a present from the empress . Ben saw himself in the mirror .

" I know what they are trying to do mother and father , but I won't let them . rey is mine as I am hers I'll give her my child and become powerful and rule jakku with iron fist ."

Jade made his great entrence in front of the empress . Rey was suprise to see jade what was he doing here in jakku in the Palace .

" Prince jade what are you doing here ? "

" your Majesty I'm here for help my kingdom is in need of your help the first order has declare war against us " yavin" ."

" its nice to see you jade ". Jade bow in smiled at rey .
