well I certainly made an attempt at the final map for Unicorn Overlord--had to go check a spoiler-free guide to see if there was some gimmick I wasn't picking up on (this has happened before to me) but no, there isn't, that fucker really is just annoying and hard to kill, so I might have to rethink my strategy a bit...

#I have two saves going one before the battle and one mid-battle bc I wasn't expecting the final map to uh #take more than an hour to complete #which I mean I guess? I should have? bc most srpg final maps take me about 2 hours on average to complete #but w/ UO I can usually finish a map in less than 5 minutes maybe15 for the large ones #and considering that even my underleveled units were one-hitting minor enemy units on the final map like #I clearly do have a decent strategy and units #it's just the whole...fucking....700-some-odd health and the most annoying battle skill list ever #won't attempt it again tonight I'm gonna sleep on it a bit and decide if I wana restart the battle entirely #or just try one last-ditch swan song on the mid-battle save #it's been a WHILE since a final map vexed me this much I gotta say #oracle of lore
