Today’s random selfship-related fact is:
Telanthera did not grow up in quite as prestigious of a social circle as the one that she now resides in, so she didn’t learn all the proper skills that one might expect a typical noblewoman of her station to be proficient in. One of these skills was dancing, until Camellia offered to assist her in learning the proper techniques while Tel was visiting the residence of Camellia’s liege, some time after the two of them had begun to interact with each other more often. Needless to say, despite her superior societal standing, Telanthera was very appreciative of her assistance.
#come on I couldn't not try and give one for this selfship on the twins' birthday#a call from the void#void's random selfship facts#selfship#selfshipping#love: tea for the liege (camellia)#selfship: a dance of endeavours (camellia/telanthera)#self‑insert: scourge of royalty (telanthera)#look. S told me once that camellia knows how to dance and has taught nobility to dance occasionally.#and I already knew I wanted tel to be like.. definitely a lady but not *super* high up in the rankings. like.. 3rd of 7-type position#if that makes sense#this is also why it's not really as weird that she is known for interacting a lot with servants and treating them well#since she can relate more to their standing compared to someone who has always been obnoxiously grand and wealthy#it's also what makes tel a good agent for overthrowing the aforementioned liege. since if she messes up some etiquette thing or another#most of the others present would just brush it off as ''oh she's just not as refined and prestigious as us''#anyway that's ramble but here#this flustered me when i first found out about it and it still most definitely does
