I'm slowly coming to the realisation that I would be the most annoying person to watch horror media with because at this point I could tell you exact scenes and movies that said media has taken inspiration from/copied/done an homage to. I watch so many horror movies that I just start recognising them in other stuff

#on my supernatural rewatch and i know for a fact this one episode took inspiration from texas chainsaw massacre #it's also got similar vibes to wrong turn but tcm definitely #and there were some other s1 spn episodes that had a very similar plot to a different horror #also i remember when i first watched malignant; there were certain shots that i just know they used Suspiria as inspiration for #like they're so similar #and this happens quite a bit with more modern horror stuff #im in too deep when it comes to horror movies
