All I want in the world is a Starfleet spouses club series
#you see#in my mind Ransom retires early after Mariner becomes a captain#because he's doesn't want to be an admiral and he also doesn't want to be away from her#and obviously just based on rank he was a captain first#so he's had his dream job already#and now he's her house husband and he runs the spouses club for their ship#(this is in the version of my head canons where they don't get divorced)#and anyway I would just like a Starfleet spouses club show with Ransom as the weird cross over character#He shouldn't even be the main character#objectively funnier if he's a side character in every series he's in#I just think it's the funniest possible way do a spin off of lwd#like this is Beckett Mariner's ship#that is Beckett Mariner's husband in the background chasing after their (obviously chaotic) teenage daughter#But today's episode is not about them#it's not even about anyone else on the crew#it's about Betty and Clark and their argument over who brought better lemon bars to last weeks Starfleet Spouse Support Group#anyway someone please come talk to me about Mariner and Ransom
