idk what just happened but for a split second while listening to the chapter end playing of follow you into the dark I was overcome with the nostalgia of the first time I played this game and the thrill of having a new horror game that actually gave me chills and dread; having already a weird connection to alan's voice that made him feel like home; wandering around cauldron lake for hours lost; getting jumpscared near witch's ladle (STILL gets me every goddamn time!); the comfort of the light, which felt so warm to the dark that i had been drowning (still drowning) in myself
