Maybe counteracted the stupid walk for my mental health by deciding to take a detor and walk through the (seemingly abandoned) cash grab housing development outside of town and instead of looking around at nature, standing and looking at the half built houses while getting increasingly more mad for a while

#the planning permission never should have been granted #its already fucking with things on an environmental level and it's just a load of half built houses atm.#it's a floodplain so now we're all at risk of flooding cause there's nowhere for the water to go #it was half protected green space with a few rare species. half community growing space/paths for walking by the riverside #makes me so angry because we need housing! we desperately need affordable housing. but they don't build any of that #instead the council are completely under the fist of these developers who build shitty overpriced housing that nobody here can afford #and they start building without even having the funds to finish it! so we get stuck with half built houses all over our greenspace when #their speculation doesn't pay off. they don't even advertise these places locally. they're advertised in London to investors #it's infuriating.
