SOME HEADCANONS ABOUT THE EGGIES!

the first egg Stolas laid was a complete accident. the stress of his divorce from Stella coupled with other happenings led to a lapse in his birth control and he wasn't completely straightened out by the time he and Blitz started sleeping together [again]. luckily, this first egg was not fertilized as Stolas and Blitz had not talked about having a family together at that point in time.

the first few attempts led to empty eggs all around. there was some frustration on both sides considering that laying was not an easy task for Stolas and baby-making is stressful on its own.

Their [first] fertilized egg came in a clutch of three, with two empty eggs. it was the final egg laid and the smallest of the three.

blitz just carrying around the egg(s) in one of those baby carrier things that holds them to your chest and stolas has to chase him down because "[they] need to be under the [heat] lamp".

imps don't have a high enough body temp for nesting eggs like that oop.
