this poll continues to be a surprisingly decent conversation starter, though i’m still a little surprised my mom was so willing to discuss death note (which she knew nothing about) even though we gave her the option to discuss who’d solve the Red John murders faster than the Mentalist. mom rightfully insists Hercule Poirot would solve it faster, but I’m also tickled that my sibs’ first reaction was to suggest “those guys from supernatural” like hell yeah it’s absolutely wild they weren’t an option in that poll. Scooby Doo would still solve it faster.
